Remember those Moment of Zen segments from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart?
Shannon Doherty was a guest and closed the show with her moment of “Zen”. Anyone remember this? Man, my pervy 16 yr old self does. She faked an “o”.
I know she is suffering now and it is sad. Wishing her the best and least pain as possible.
But what was the story to that randomness? I’m not digging this up to shame. It was her youth and she looked like she had fun doing it… giggled at the end. Clowning around in the 90s. Was it a dare or reference to something else? Or her true Zen?
There is a man on the show that appears to be middle eastern, but speaks with a very thug “accent.”
Do you remember this guy? And if so can you find a single clip with him on it? Hell, even his name will send me down a rabbit hole to find him.
Reason: back in the 90s my mom worked with a guy that looked and acted EXACTLY like the character. I NEED to show her this character.
Her dog died a few weeks ago and she is still devastated. Just know this will make her cry with laughter.
She needs a good laugh. Thanks for your time.
Trigger Happy TV had a USA version which seems impossible to find episodes. Anyone remember it? My wife claims there’s one episode where a dog catcher is after a bunch of shih tzus. I can’t find anything on it though. sounds familiar, but I Wish I could find an old DVD or something.
The sketch I remember specifically was about smoking in restaurants, done in a chop-socky style. The antagonist inhales a cigarette in 1.5 seconds then breathes out a giant cone of smoke.
Can you help ?
