I started writing this titled “About those Republicans…” a week ago, then this video came up.

Great channel, not mine, zero intentional misrepresentations, every claim is confirmable through public sources. Also, meant to be watched in order and worth it.

My intended post was to re-tell the story: an American cabal (that closely resembles the GOP in personages) has been corrupt AF at least since WWI, and that’s who “we are up against now”. But that story has been well told in more digestible formats, so I’ll suggest you watch the vids at your leisure – they’re 30-60min and not a second wasted – and add this:

They’re not winning: they’re losing hard. Here’s a major reason why.

We’ve mostly built the Panopticon. In the past the only way to find these stories would be to go to a public library and read through years of print newspapers – every page – to possibly find a paragraph about some corporation in Asia. Today you can watch a 1hr video (built upon the work of people who did read all those papers).

One more: no-one except a handful of cult members believe “Antifa” dressed up like magats to storm the Capitol. They brought cameras, posted on FB, and when arrested their phones held the “paper” trail.

In the past it was almost possible to rewrite the historical narrative – ask a boomer who killed Kennedy – but you can be and should be far too informed to be easily lied to. And do not forgive lies of omission: Joe and Mika could give an hour to the history of the CIA importing heroin, but that’s risky career-wise and hey let’s talk about football cz that doesn’t require a spine.

In short: the over 50yo GOP types have no idea how busted they are, but they do know their guilty, and they are going to keep using pre-panopticon tactics to avoid consequences. They are going to lie more, and steal more - and more openly due to the cameras, not courage – and get caught more.

It’s the downward spiral of an American oligarchy that used to go unobserved, used to have a captive audience, but won’t survive the sunlight any Joe can find online.

So drop any flags you still may be holding, the “trust” etc, and just accept that America is in no way impervious to corruption. A world leader in fact.

And trust instead in the evidence: Russians are dying under Putin, his ally Syria is falling, his ally Georgia is falling, and his allies in the GOP are idiots neck deep in the “lie more” phase of their implosion.

And two things those all have in common are: the vanities of the liars (in thinking they can fool us), and a motivated opposition.

Get motivated, opposition: yer enemies are mostly vain cowards in non-STEM fields, use the tech to show scientifically the emperor has no clothes and it’ll go much quicker. Every major social lie has died at the hands of science, historically.

Obviously, this guy never read "How to Win friends and influence People".

This guy, Homan, a prime contributor to Trump's Project 2025 initiative and Fox News talking head, thinks like all schoolyard bullies do, that because he has a little power, he has ultimate power.

Not yet confirmed, Tom Holman is already threatening every state in the union that it 'will be his way, or the highway, and if they don't comply with his radical-right agenda he will personally cut off all federal funds to those who won't knuckle down to his extremist demands.

Hundreds of millions of Americans, Republican, Democrat, or Independent depend on these monies to fund Health care services, education, social services, infrastructure, and public safety, to name but a few., and this pipsqueak zealot who wouldn't dare open his mouth if he didn't have a neighborhood bully (Trump) to back him up, thinks he can intimidate the rest of society.

This is Maga at its worst, and Project 2025 at its worst. First, they are trying to menace the US Congress, and now every citizen in the union.

President-elect Donald Trump’s ‘border czar’ nominee Tom Homan promised to slash federal funding to states who don’t work with his new immigration policies while admitting he has received death threats.

Homan appeared on Mark Levin’s show, Life, Liberty and Levin, on Sunday for an interview discussing the “border crisis.”

Levin, a Trump supporter, told Homan he has a “powerful weapon” to use against governors–notably from sanctuary cities–who refuse to cooperate with the Trump administrations plans. “If you have a governor who says, ‘I’m not going to cooperate'...then federal funds should be slashed to that state, and I mean hugely so, so that the people of that state understand that the governor is the responsible party,” Levin said.

Homan replied in the positive. “And that’s going to happen, Guaranteed, President Trump is going to do that,” he said.

Homan then claimed he was “being attacked” and that his family had been forced to move out of his home. “This administration has turned this world upside down, so now I’m being attacked,” Homan said. “I got death threats, my family’s not even living in my home right now,” he continued, without adding further context.

“You can hate Trump all you want, but you gotta love your community more than you hate President Trump,” Homan said.

Last week, Homan warned Democratic governors who pushed back on Fox and Friends, to “get the hell out of the way” and “don’t cross that line.”

Today I realized that the conservatives' views about minorities are based on the conservatives' actions and predilections.

Examples Belief: Immigrants are evil, they are taking over our country.

Actuality: White people have been invading and taking over countries for centuries.

Belief: Gay and Transgender people are grooming children to be sexually oriented like themselves.

Actuality: Hetronormative people have instituted whole societal structures to enforce their sexual identity.

Belief: Trans women are trying to get into historically feminine spaces to commit sexual crimes.

Actuality: A portion of the cis male population has done this or has fantasies about doing so.

Belief: Non-White men are motivated to rape White women.

Actuality: When White men have had the ability to force non-White women into unwanted sexual relationships they have done so.

Belief: Atheists are subversively trying to convert religious people to renounce their religion.

Actuality: Religious institutions are always proselytizing.

The examples are almost endless.
