Hi! I am using an educational license for Maya and have been using Renderman at school. I wanted to use it at home but am having trouble loading it in. Renderman says the download is successful and has been installed but I do not see it in my Plugin Manager 😔. Any ideas on how to fix that? Also I am using a Mac, I don’t know if that causes any issues.

Follow a Maya tutorial on RenderMan 22, it is tick check box `2D Motion Blur` under `Allow Motion Blur` feature. Then add AOV `dPdtime`
The AOV, it's black for me, my scene is simple a sphere translate by 1 axis in 30 seconds. What is the solution ?
Hello, I have a problem rendering my displace and bump map texture.
I have 2 udims on my character but I don't know why we can see a line between the 2 udims (the line near the neck).
Moreover, the texture isn't rendering good on my character (no displace on the face) while it's seems to work well on a plane.
Does anyone have a solution to that please ? It's quite urgent 😓
I have viewed tutorials on how to render an animation, but how does one render just a single frame? I am modeling an environment with no camera movement or animation involved.

I have an car rigged and simed with proxy and then linked the basic process. I made my shaders all my stuff and add noise and scratch with curvature and dirt but here it is : my noise is « swimming » . I seen on forums and in the docs how to fix it. Create rest attrib, rename it in renderman tab with rename attrib, Add mapping element, rename Rest to Pr : vertex point. Then adding manifold with in the Pref parameter : Pr but still not working. Texture still swimming. I’m about to render and add the dirt layers in comp but would like to achieve to fix it !

So i've been attempting to use my friends computer to get additional renders done while using my other computer. however a problem i've come to encounter are these renders coming in black when imported into adobe premiere. despite every setting on both machines being set the same, the rendered batches are producing different results: with the ones produced of the 2nd computer producing camerashape.rib/xml files.

Hi!,
Im trying to render a scene with renderman in houdini 19.5.569, Im creating a rest node and setting my manifold 3D to "Deform(__Pref)", Ive tried renaming my rest attribute to Pref, promoting it from point to primitive but I am always getting "swimming" textures.
The documentation says " Create an attribute node, in the RenderMan tab select "add to default mappings" , but i dont know what attrbute node they mean :/
