Blake Lively on Child Pornography: “Between 55 and 90% of people viewing it are actually hands on abusers or will become abusers.”

Blake Lively speaks out against the horrors of child pornography in an eye-opening speech. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbGGFVzfMtk (9:16)

Highlights:

“Because of the internet, and there’s so much content, these pedophiles are desensitized. Because of that, the kids [in pornography] are getting younger and the content is getting that much more devastating.”

“So when this law enforcement officer told me this, I asked him how young are the young kids he’s seeing [in apprehended files]? He told me: ‘infants.’”

“So I asked him what happens in these videos, and unspeakable things happen. …No, it’s not just touching, there is penetration, there is extreme torture and bondage, there is bestiality, there is incest…”

“There is 30-50 million files a day being traded that we know of.”

“90% of children know their abusers. …It may be a doctor, it may be a coach.”

“Oftentimes these people who have this propensity for wanting to lure children find a profession that gives them access to children”

“The average abuser abuses between 50 and a hundred children in their lifetime.”

“Between 55 and 90% of people viewing [child pornography] are actually hands on abusers or will become abusers.”

“I was told the story of a pediatric oncologist who was raping his children with cancer by the hundreds. When he was caught, they asked him how many children he abused, and he looked outside the window at the snow and said how many snowflakes are there outside.”

Noam Chomsky on Pornography: “Women are degraded as vulgar sex objects. It’s not what human beings are.”

Chomsky is an influential political activist, social critic, and linguist who made revolutionary contributions to psychology while simultaneously campaigning against war and social injustice. Here are his comments on pornography in an interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNlRoaFTHuE&t=77s

What is your view on pornography?

Pornography is a humiliation and degradation of women. It’s a disgraceful activity. …Women are degraded as vulgar sex objects. It’s not what human beings are.

But didn’t porn performers choose to do the job and get paid?

The fact that people agreed to it and are paid is about as convincing as the fact that we should be in favor of sweatshops in China where women are locked into a factory and work 15 hours a day and then the factory burns down and they all die.

How should we improve the production conditions of pornography?

By eliminating degradation of women. …Just like child abuse. You don’t want to make it better child abuse. You want to stop child abuse. Suppose there is a starving child in the slums, and you say I’ll give you food if you let me abuse you. After all, the child is starving otherwise, so you’re taking away his chance to get some food if you ban abuse. I mean, is that an argument? …Stop the conditions in which the child is starving. And the same is true here. Eliminate the conditions in which women can’t get decent jobs.

(r/)FauxBait — Legal Pornography or Pedophile Haven?

She looks like a little girl I love it 😩😀😈💦💦💦

Dear reddit,

TAKE DOWN FAUXBAIT

Remember jailbait? Meet its not-so-distant cousin. FauxBait runs rampant with pornographic videos and explicit images of girls aged 18 or older who have the physical appearance of an underage girl. With content that directly caters to pedophiles, this sub certainly harbors sexual predators.

Take for example this still from a video posted with the title “such a tease”:

https://preview.redd.it/e5rlwbtnlkyc1.png?width=886&format=png&auto=webp&s=41e1b34a3b75921f9544eafddaca9ec0c9b7a6e9

Comments on this post:

“Ngl I first thought it was a kid 👧”

“The definition of fauxbait”

“I remember when I first saw her in this video many years ago that I couldn't believe she could be of age…”

“Wish she had done hardcore.”

That is a child!! How can this possibly be legal?? …is what any sane person would ask. The entire appeal of this content is that the adult girl looks like she is underage and is therefore sexually enticing.

The logical explanation for the popularity of “barely legal” porn is that it sneaks past laws and provides a legal alternative to underage pornography that pedophiles are hungry for. It is a thinly veiled category that caters directly to child predators and sexual offenders, hence contributing to the propagation of child sexual abuse.

And if you still doubt whether this sub harbors sexual predators, take a look at these horrific comments on other posts:

“Love her tiny little girl moans”

“She looks so young!! 🥵”

“Such a sexy tight little teen body😡😈😈😈🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺i need more little teens in this angle all shown off…”

Users on fauxbait are also involved in other perverted subreddits like rapefantasies and legalteens where they say things like “Ok...🥺🥺🥺😩im a young women and i want to rpe little girls and young sexy women’s beautiful plump bodies.....😩😩😩😩i cant wait to have one...”

Oh, and please for heaven’s sake don’t tell me that this is a kink or is fantasyThis is pedophilia. Just because sexual predation is done in pretense or just because you have a large group of like-minded individuals doesn’t mean what you are doing is right. Immorality is immorality. Crime is crime.

What’s concerning is that there is a large group of like-minded individuals. FauxBait alone has 341,000 members, but that number is dwarfed by the size of the audience that watches offshoots of the “barely legal” genre like “schoolgirl” and “girl scouts” porn, all of which fetishize the sexualization of underage girls.

Of all the depraved subreddits I have reviewed in the last month, this one made my stomach churn the most. No other type of porn, no matter how disgusting, has made me question the morality of the human race more than this. How safe can we truly make society for our little ones if predatory communities like these flourish online? I am speechless at how anonymity on the internet can bring out the worst in us.

Yours truly,

A concerned and responsible netizen

Do the right thing.

(r/)rapeandsexfantasies — Private Images Shared Without Consent?

Just turned 18 today who wants to rp with her

Dear reddit,

TAKE DOWN (R/)RAPEANDSEXFANTASIES

Pornography is a vile creature that plagues reddit and the entire internet, but in this post I will bring focus to one subreddit in particular: (r/)rapeandsexfantasies. This subreddit must be banned not only because of its use of pornography to glorify sexual violence and fetishize rape, but also because of the posting of private images of individuals who likely did not consent.

We do not support or promote actual rape.

Is this argument really so compelling that the subreddit's content has managed to slip under reddit's radar? Or does reddit turn a blind eye to content that promotes sexual violence and abuse? The majority of posts on rapeandsexfantasies include pornographic images or violent videos accompanied by a title in which a woman begs men to rape her. Take for example, >!"rape this body for me please" !<and >!"Am i rapeable even tho i just turned 18?"!<

Oh, is it just a kink? No, your pornographic community has horrendous implications on real world women. How? After seeing 20 posts per day in which women beg to be raped, naive viewers inevitably draw the conclusion that if there are so many women doing this online, then there must be an equal number of women in everyday life who wish for the same thing. If this doesn't contribute to an increase in sexual violence, I don't know what does.

What's worse, it is highly likely that many posts on Rapeandsexfantasies contain private images of individuals who are unaware that their pictures were thrown to hungry redditors online. Evidence:

"Just turned 18 today who wants to rp with her"

"My freind she just turn 18 who wants to fuck her dm me degrade her"

"[What] if along with this pic her address gets leaked"

What if along with this pic her address gets leaked

So the picture was leaked. It was not shared with consent. The subject in the picture is likely unaware that it was shared and that she is being objectified and degraded on the internet. Such atrocities are more than enough to warrant a permanent ban for this subreddit.

So, reddit, if you provided the option to report an entire subreddit and all of its posts, mods, and members, I would report (r/)rapeandsexfantasies 203,000 times, once for each member of the sub (that's right, they have 203K members). Their content is degrading and possibly illegal and most definitely has a terrible impact on viewers, and consequently, on our society.

Yours truly,

A concerned netizen

(r/)womenarethings — Yes, that is a real subreddit.

Dear reddit,

TAKE DOWN WOMENARETHINGS

womenarethings should be banned because of its use of pornography to spread misogynistic ideas. The name of the subreddit is just the tip of the iceberg; posts contain vile ideas and degrading pornography, and mods and users are open about their misogyny.

Firstly, I invite you to gaze upon the striking subreddit description that greets newcomers:

https://preview.redd.it/lx52hzciyusc1.png?width=578&format=png&auto=webp&s=9d883311bb20a0c4f43a741041e332a54b2443e1

"Women are things. Objects." Followed by, "This is complete fantasy." A perfectly phrased disclaimer — fantasy is harmless after all. And of course, dehumanizing an entire segment of the human race is alright when it's done in pretense.

Now, let's venture into the appalling posts of this repulsive subreddit. Their content is divided into two classifications: pornography (in which women are abused, held against their will, and beaten) accompanied by a depraved title, or a discussion in which a dozen to a hundred users converge to objectify and degrade women.

The pornography in this sub is violent and depicts women being abused. I will not provide links or screenshots, but the captions that accompany them encapsulate the degrading and violent nature of the content on this sub, so I wish to provide examples of those. Discretion is advised because the following contain profanity, vulgarity, and are disturbing and potentially triggering:

!"Using me like the teen object I am"!<

!"this whore is fucked every day, raped and forced to suck a dildo six times a day"!<

!"Force the bitch to do as she's told"!<

!"Theres nothing like forcing your rock hard cock into a rapedolls worthless cunt right before breakfast 💕"!<

!"A fuck toy's bimbo brain doesn't know this is what it wants. It's upto us men to rape them into understanding"!<

!"It's not a person. It's a toy for cock. it's not a face. It's a fuck hole."!<

The attitudes of people who watch this type of pornography is visibly reflected in the other class of posts — discussions. Here is an example of one such discussion: when a user asked, "Some rules a sl*t should follow?", others responded,

https://preview.redd.it/0254ql3oyusc1.png?width=1562&format=png&auto=webp&s=5087d7657d09ee02976a311e67f208a06f7539b5

https://preview.redd.it/52r8k5qsyusc1.png?width=1562&format=png&auto=webp&s=5c7cd8e443ecb71f9a5bffee2f3d5241de4bbe95

https://preview.redd.it/lqf05iutyusc1.png?width=1562&format=png&auto=webp&s=74c486810d890f9cb6e46635233fb2df43b9335f

I don't even need to comment on that discussion. It speaks for itself.

Mods not only support, but openly encourage this behavior through posts of their own, such as:

https://preview.redd.it/qycqc5yvyusc1.png?width=1562&format=png&auto=webp&s=abd1decb3fa6a2e280a761c959ad1598ee33c2a9

Responses to the post above.

One mod is also involved in another openly misogynistic sub called (r/)MisogynisticLife. I will cover this subreddit in detail in another post.

https://preview.redd.it/f9bm0u13zusc1.png?width=578&format=png&auto=webp&s=fbb80411f2176b44339ab417151d7b7f30d2443e

So, reddit, if you provided the option to report an entire subreddit and all of its posts, mods, and users, I would have reported womenarethings 526,000 times, once for each member of the sub (that's right, they have 526K members). Their content is simply atrocious and most definitely has a terrible impact on viewers, and consequently, on our society.

(r/)Objects4Abuse — "Human rights? Why would a f***-thing need human rights?"

"Human rights? Why would a fuck-thing need human rights? This is a place for subhuman objects who know their place, and superior beings who use them."

Dear reddit,

TAKE DOWN OBJECTS4ABUSE

Objects4Abuse should be banned for using pornography to promote the dehumanization and sexual abuse of women. The name of this subreddit should be enough to realize that, but let's venture further to see just what this sub contains.

https://preview.redd.it/9w7gg79hgusc1.png?width=624&format=png&auto=webp&s=31ca55771de2f169f8f35c88cc708a0b3d96e143

From the outset, this subreddit firmly establishes that women are "subhuman objects" and that men are "superior beings who use them." The blatant dehumanization of women in the subreddit's description—"Why would a fuck-thing need human rights?"—should be sufficient to warrant a permanent ban, but if that's not enough, consider the type of pornographic content that is shared by members.

Each post reaffirms this misogynistic outlook with an added emphasis on sexual violence. The most common type of post involves images and videos that depict women being abused, beaten, and raped, and a vulgar caption that appeals to those who find pleasure in such acts. The images and videos are too graphic to screenshot, but the captions that accompany them encapsulate the degrading and violent nature of the content on this sub, so I wish to provide examples of those. Discretion is advised because the following contain profanity, vulgarity, and are disturbing and potentially triggering:

!"Objects Can’t Give Consent, Nor Should They Be Asked For It" (The image within this post also says: "Legalize rape because objects can't give consent, nor should they be asked for it")!<

!"When A Superior Being Wants Something, An Object Will Provide It"!<

!"If you think this hurts now, just wait a couple of seconds. Now? Now this is better. I can hear you screaming around my cock, but sadly I can't see those tears flowing down your face. I can do anything to your body I want. Never forget that, and be thankful for what I do and fear what I haven't yet."!<

!"Whether An Object Likes It Or Not Doesn’t Matter. Objects Get Used."!<

!"It was bad enough when he started beating you. But now, he records and sells it. He makes you moan and cry into the camera. You're always covered head to toe so no one sees the marks and bruises. He's destroying you, but you won't say stop. You'll love him, no matter what. Right to the very end."!<

!"Is she conscious? Breathing? Enjoying it? None of that matters. She has a warm hole and he's fucking it just as hard as he would any of her other holes. Maybe harder. That way, she'll barely be able to talk tomorrow and he won't have to listen to her. And she takes it, otherwise, he gets rough."!<

!One post, captioned "The picture says enough", shares an image that contains the following: "Women deserve to be degraded. Women are not people. They are non-respectable cunts, objects, cock sleeves, toys, whores, sluts, cum dumpsters. This includes all cunts, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends."!<

"Note: this sub does not condone real rape." And yet the entire subreddit is a testament to the fact that there are groups of people who find pleasure in the sexual abuse of women. This subreddit perpetuates the existence of such groups by promoting the creation of "rape porn," and by potentially exposing young teenagers to this content. Imagine what an innocent and malleable individual might learn from this if they did not know any better.

So, reddit, if you provided the option to report an entire subreddit and all of its posts, mods, and members, I would have reported (r/)Objects4Abuse 6,500 times, once for each member of the sub (that's right, they have 6.5K members). Their content is degrading and violent and most definitely has a terrible impact on viewers, and consequently, on our society.

A concerned netizen

(r/)consensualnonconsent — Just a Kink or a Hotbed of Rape Culture and Misogyny?

Dear reddit,

TAKE DOWN CONSENSUALNONCONSENT

Pornography is a problem that plagues reddit and the entirety of the internet, but in this post I would like to present one subreddit in particular that likely has damaging effects on our society. (r/)consensualnonconsent should be banned because posts on this sub share the common theme of sexual violence and abuse. Users and mods justify such topics by claiming that it is simply a "kink," but the type of content on this subreddit is horrendous.

Although the videos posted seem to be produced by studios and paid actors who likely consented, they depict women being held against their will, sexually abused, and beaten. I will not provide links or screenshots of examples of videos, but the post titles that caption these videos exemplify the violent and misogynistic nature of this subreddit, and so I wish to provide examples of those. They do not contain profanity or overtly vulgar language, but discretion is advised because the following are disturbing and potentially triggering:

!"What true love looks like" — 1.5K votes!<

!"That's what happens when you walk alone in a cute dress" — 408 votes!<

!"It's cute you fought back, but we both knew how this was ending" — 8.8K votes!<

!"held hostage for payment" — 4K votes!<

These titles encapsulate the horrifying nature of the consensualnonconsent subreddit and should be more than enough evidence to warrant a ban. Such content is degrading to women and should not be tolerated, especially on a platform on which maturing adolescents can be exposed to it incredibly easily. Imagine what a young and malleable individual might learn from this content and how their attitudes and behavior would change if they didn't know any better.

The only thing more outrageous than the content itself is the way users and mods on this subreddit defend it. They claim that the content simply caters to a certain kink and that consensual non-consent is harmless. One user says in response to a post outlining the anti-rape stance of the consensualnonconsent subreddit:

https://preview.redd.it/b7fsftsxltrc1.png?width=1468&format=png&auto=webp&s=7130902b867c597e872d81d2cd1556806e2ff282

Mods also defend the subreddit through absurd claims in their rules. According to them, "advocating for violence, abuse, or hatred" is not permitted, and they "do not tolerate racism, misogyny, actual threats of violence, or generally off-putting behavior." Yet, the entire subreddit is a testament to the fact that certain groups of people find pleasure in the sexual abuse of women, and the content they post perpetuates the existence of such groups. Another rule used in defense of the sub is to avoid mass-reporting content and instead "take a moment to educate yourself on the CNC kink."

https://preview.redd.it/d5i615tyltrc1.png?width=522&format=png&auto=webp&s=fc146cc4ef17f0e1af5a22bda875cda3950e9a92

To reinforce the idea of educating oneself on CNC, one mod runs a splinter subreddit named (r/)CNCdiscussion. The intention behind this was to have a subreddit that is "more focused on the ecuation around the kink, and responsible and safe ways to explore it." However, there is not a single post (out of the 3 that exist) that even attempts to educate people or explains anything about this 'kink' beyond "we do not condone rape, misogyny, violence" and so on. Fortunately, this sub is not as active as the parent subreddit.

So, reddit, if you provided the option to report an entire subreddit and all of its posts, mods, and users, I would report consensualnonconsent 318,000 times, once for each member of the sub (that's right, they have 318K members). Their content is simply disgusting and most definitely has a negative impact on viewers, and consequently, on our society.

Yours truly,

A concerned netizen

new safety measures for children on Chromebooks and iPhones

Chromebooks (and Chrome OS) for primary and secondary education (including homeschooling families) will have safety settings set to default, meaning they can only be changed with administrative privileges: Safe Search and SafeSites (blocking explicit URLs) will be turned on, and Enable Guest Browsing and Incognito Mode will be turned off. What’s more, all those in K-12 that currently have a school-issued Chromebook will be updated with these significant improvements.

https://endsexualexploitation.org/articles/google-chromebook-removed-from-dirty-dozen-list/

Apple’s new child protection features announced last month would use machine learning algorithms to flag “sexually explicit” photos sent or received in the Messages app by minor users enrolled in a Family Plan. To prevent the spread of child sexual abuse images, the families of children under 13 years can choose to be notified and receive a copy of the flagged content. For children ages 13 to 17 years, the child is warned before opening flagged content and no one else is notified. Another proposed update to Apple devices would allow the company to detect known sexually explicit images of children uploaded to iCloud Photos, then report the content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

1 comparison between OnlyFans and it's 2018 (new) replacement JustForFans (JFF)

This is a massive step in the wrong direction, OnlyFans had no recommendation or popular feed this stopped the ability of performers exploiting an algorithm to go viral. Much like YouTube, reddit and tumbler JustForFans contains this specific feed that over time will be filled with the most shocking/horrific/degrading videos made by performers who want high levels of popularity.

This system will breed a culture around porn that rewards on shock value, pulling the entirety of the porn industry into a worse state due to sites having to deal with what will be JFF "shock" feed.

I'm expecting a rise in all negative aspects related to porn.

Update: Looks like OnlyFans is keeping to pornography being available on their platform.

What does “reform porn” mean exactly to those here?

I’m more of an “abolish porn entirely” gal, myself. By that I mean abolish a porn industry.

I don’t see anything wrong with enjoying the human form and displays of sexuality, it’s perfectly normal. The problems only arise when money enters the picture.

Because there is income inequality, which especially affects women and those of marginalized genders, the people who are most vulnerable to exploitation are the oppressed. The porn industry is inherently exploitative.

In a sexist world that is run on the backs of the marginalized poor, porn cannot be reformed and can only be shunned entirely. So for me to have it be reformed requires a complete restructuring of the world over that eliminates the type of extreme income inequality that forces people into porn and includes gender equality and equity full stop.

What does everyone else think?
