Hello! My name if foDan and I am a songwriter. I have written many songs with lyrics the only problem is that I dont have a good voice and I cant sing. I am looking for an artist (a singer) that would want original songs... It would be preferred if they got a ministudio or a mic at home so they could record high quality music... I will provide the instrumental part and the lyrics... I will attach a link to one of my songs... If you are interested please contact me
Hi! I'm making music for fun and I created this song (inspired by starcraft)
Would anyone be willing to sing on it?
https://on.soundcloud.com/La4QWSBj6xW758n28
You can message me on reddit (don't use chat, it's broken for me for some reason)
More about me:
I do this for fun at home as a hobby to show to friends and family. I can play instruments but I can't sing for shit. If the end result is good enough, we could put this on Spotify, who knows. ;)
Thanks!
I’m looking for a vocalist for an original track of mine. It’s a dance style track that I’d love to have original vocals on. It is one line that pertains to a radio jingle appearing before the song begins, similar to Dawn FM. Reach out if you're interested!
We'll make something great. Check out west bees motherhood on SoundCloud for an idea of what I make so far, it's kinda psych, kinda funk (apparently) and kinda krautrock
..is my next project, here's the first clip, if you're in the city with a beat/performance ready to go, and have a great smoke spot to rec a one-take banger, feel free to share your stuff!
Looking for an artist that would like to collaborate, sing and release the following song on their project:: https://on.soundcloud.com/u8u1F
I'm the songwriter and producer on the song, It's called Worse Days.
The beat is a demo, we could do some changes in the lyrics and production style to fit your artistry. The vocals are just for demo, looking for the lead vocalist.
Hate it, love it, but don't ignore it <3
If you think you would be a good fit, send me a dm through soundcloud, or through here, but preferably soundcloud.
If you think you know someone that would be a good fit, let me know!
If you know of any other good subreddits I could post this to, I would also really appreciate it the info.
Hello ,
I'm looking for a collaboration with a singer for this song. Thanks in advance https://soundcloud.com/user-118080748/abstract-loop .
Hello, I am looking for singers / rappers who need a song mixed and mastered, willing to work for free.
My latest work : https://drive.google.com/file/d/11Ty9mdHajJtyVo6TnAtpZPSZQeiaIcuQ/view?usp=sharing
Dm me if interested :)
Hey! I'm Jamie Jordan from Finland, I'm a EDM (Cinema House, Future Rave) artist.
I'm currently working on a song that is set to release in january, and i need a singer (anywhere in the world) in this criteria :

- Male
- 25 years old higher (or atleast sounds like 30 year old or higher)

the song is in d#minor, bpm is 124, genre is future rave & cinema house.

lyrics will be provided, refrence vocals will be provided with all the notes, and the song without the vocals will be provided as well. i need the vocals dry so dont worry about the mixing it yourself.
and with the matter of money, this is not a paid project as i have a budjet of 0, however i'll be glad to share the proceedings from the streams if or when it blows up!

if you are interested message me either here or via instagram at jamiejxrdan , and we'll get to it.

cheers!
Seeing as how this sub's been a bit dead lately, I decided to break out a piano part to a song I've been working on*. Here's a Dropbox Link. It's called Intense because as I was playing it for a friend, she was drawing a picture and it turned out to be a picture of the word "INTENSE" in big, block letters.
It's at 100bpm in the key of G (one flat sharp).
It's really only two sections (major chords in upper case, minor chords in lower case):
The opening section is also the "chorus" theme. It goes G to D. Then G to C. Then G to D, e, C. Back to G to D. Then G to C. Then G to D, e, C, a...
Then it's the more "verse" section. less dynamic. Each chord gets it's own measure except for C/D. Goes: G -> a -> G -> a -> G -> a -> b -> C and then D, C. It then repeats that pattern and instead of going from C to D and then back to C, it goes from C to D and then leads into the chorus with G.
^(**Those of you who follow me on soundcloud may have already heard it fleshed out, but I'm hoping that doesn't affect how you play to this song. Make this your own. For those who haven't heard it on soundcloud, don't be tempted... please...*)
EDIT - G has one sharp, not one flat. I'm dumb. I'm just so used to playing keys with flats instead of with sharps.
So I'm working on this (nu-)disco track and I think it could use some vocals. this is what it sounds like now: https://soundcloud.com/noutch/disco-house-track-wip/s-0YSSM I have also created a little melody idea of what it could sound like (but it's off course for the freedom of the vocalist, this is just a little idea): https://soundcloud.com/noutch/disco-house-track-wip-with/s-7Cs2S
So is there anyone who would like to collaborate on this song?
Hey everybody.
So i just purchased my first real mic recently; a Blue Yeti. I'm very novice with recording and mastering and stuff, but I downloaded a drum track off of YouTube..it's the Funk 110 BPM from this site..
I just recorded one take in Garageband and edited it with effects and stuff. I understand you guys use Audacity, so I'm not even sure if you guys can do anything with this...If you can add something to it then awesome. PM me and we can talk about the next step...I honestly just want to be heard.
I prefer headphones, higher volumes, and any feedback at all is appreciated.
Sentinel* stupid typo...
This time it's at 110bpm and there are some changes to how it's structured but the chords are all pretty much the same.
Bass needs to happen again. Drums are vastly different, so... yeah.
Piano is done on an electric piano, recorded externally, not through midi, so the dynamics and timing are all mine, not as stiff, and are cemented in place.
This is the old post for reference
UPDATE: Latest Version with Bass by /u/key2:
There's room for a solo around 1:15 until about 2:30.
Vocals and lyrics are the only thing I can't do myself. Feel free to give it a shot if you're interested. My only request is that you run the lyrics by me if you plan on giving it a go. I'm not picky I would just like to know what sort of message would be associated with the song. On that note I should mention I have an overall story idea I was trying to convey with this track and others so if you want to use that to write lyrics or something just let me know.
I just kind of got stuck when it came to lyrics and vocals. None of the tracks including this one are truly finished but vocals are definitely the next step specifically with this one.
I'm still not pleased with the mix yet and I have yet to go back and work on the beat. It's still primitive compared to what I have planned.
Hey guys. I posted this before, but it wasn't in a state where I was all that happy with it.
Now I am happy. At least happy enough to throw it out to you guys to get your oh so wonderful musical skills to impact this track positively, as I know they will.
Two flats in the key, 120 bpm. Chords are generally Gm7 to F then back and then Eb -> F -> Eb -> F -> Eb -> Dm -> Eb -> F for the part that sounds different.
Let me know if you want just the piano stem or just the drum stem as well.
There's light mixing going on right now to make the piano sound fuller and the drums sound crisper.
enjoy
EDIT:A finished version of this track by /u/chawn2323 is posted, too.
Hi redditjams... it's been a while since I played with you. I was sorting old ideas the other day and found this unfinished piece that I thought someone could turn into a cool track.
This is Winds, which I built using midi but haven't ever really developed into a full composition. A while back, some folks took a midi file of mine and did cool stuff with it. I thought this might similarly entertain some folks and make interesting music.
Here is the midi file for Winds so you can tweak, hack, slash, augment, deconstruct, and ignore it in any way you choose.
I think it's in F# minor and what you're hearing is at 120 BPM.
Hope to see some nifty ideas... cheers!
Here is a guitar demo I multitracked through guitarrig. It's mainly in Em, a bit of Dm. Not sure what to call it keywise. 4/4, 120 BPM. I'm musically open to different flavors that you guys want to give it. If I like what you send me I'll hit you up when I've got something more complete. http://snd.sc/ZSUkIK
GroupTones is a free mapping tool for musicians looking to collaborate and make more music with those around them. If you could sign up and pass it on, we'll all have more bandmates and make more music.
I apologize for posting this again, but there are still people here who are looking for bandmates and are incredibly thankful to have this resource made available. Thanks again
/u/key2 posted "Untitled 2" here a couple of months ago. Then a couple of weeks ago I added drums and uploaded that here. Since I responded such a long time after the original thread was posted, it's probably unlikely that anyone will see it, so we decided to make a new post with the added drums. Looking for anything anyone feels like adding. BPM is 92.
I recently took over /r/ToneJunkie, as the mod had gone AWOL. I love the concept of discussing guitar tones, but it seems like it just turned into a place to post QOTSA videos for karma. I'd like to change that, starting now. I really want it to be about discussion of tones, uses of pedals, sharing of patches, etc. I'd love to have your input and your subscriber-ship if any of that sounds appealing!

I'm currently a member of one group that was made here (as well as another jam group). We got bass/guitars/drums but we're very welcoming to anyone.
Hey guys.
I've been struggling for a while to get the link coloring to work according to the title you guys give it. It hasn't been working due to some limitations in CSS.
I have replaced the NEW, WIP, and FIN tags in the titles with link flair. You can now name your Post whatever you'd like.
Color distinguishes each tag from the others. NEW is red, WIP is green, and FIN is new.
There are some exceptions to this, such as on topic posts about other sites, but for posts pertaining to projects, please follow this rule.
I'm going to allow editing to the NEW and WIP flair so that you can include the instruments you want within the title. I do recommend that you keep the list short and concise as giant flair gets a bit gaudy on screen, but it is up to you. After testing this, the flair has a text limit, so you still have to put the instruments in the title. Sorry folks.
To add link flair to your submission, click the "Flair" link among the options of "save", "report", etc. I've added some examples to the project posts on the front page of this sub.
Enjoy,
-Tiki
Hey there!
I'm a young composer from germany. I'm looking to become a composer for games and film. So far I've been working mostly with sample-libraries but I'd love to integrate live instruments and had trouble finding people in my area.
Here is one track as an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQNDZPkU820
Edit: Also, if someone needs a bass track I'm here!
https://soundcloud.com/jbass1/rough-draft-in-b
Bpm is 112
This is a simple E, F#, G#m progression in the key of B. It's a bit sloppy so if you like it and want me to re-record I am happy to oblige. If someone puts drums down I will gladly re-record over that stem for timing's sake.
The second part is just [G#m, F#] x 2
Enjoy
Edit: Forgot to update this here and the "Winds' thread reminded me. Here's chawn2323 doing his thing: https://soundcloud.com/chawn2323/rough-in-b
https://soundcloud.com/gerbilking/idea
I came up with this in open D minor so I'm not too sure about the chords and stuff. I'm pretty sure it's in the key of F. Tempo is 110 BPM and time signature is 3/4 (I think??). Please tell me if this is wrong, I'm still terrible with theory...
As always, all ideas/contributions are welcome.
Hello Again RedditJammers!
About a month ago now, I selfposted a request for people that want to do rhcp songs. I had found a drummer, who now isn't responding any more, so i'm on the lookout again. Anyone wanting to drum to Mellowship Slinky in Bmajor is welcome to post here or send me a PM. I've uploaded the song as a Multitrack here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tavfwfgg3azx7fr/O4scwdQ6wh You can find the OP here: http://www.reddit.com/r/RedditJams/comments/19c7ir/looking_for_artists_willing_to_do_rhcp_songs_all/
