How does one send coffee to another?
Hi all. I could really use a good cup of coffee today. Life keeps hitting me right in the face.
I was recently diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (information for those not familiar with ME: https://www.meaction.net/learn/what-is-me/) after going from graduating with my Masters in Social Work, to homeless overnight, yet still holding down a Crisis Social Work job, to barely being able to work 25 even working solely from home.
My partner and I just found out that the owner of the house we rent is selling, and we are not going to be able to swing making an offer on it. That means we have 60 days to find somewhere to live and somehow keep managing my physical health and almost weekly doctor appointments at the same time. I healed a lot of trauma in this house, finally feeling safe in my own space, so this really does feel like grief setting in.
Between these two things, my mind, body and spirit are all drained. So I ask for the gift of coffee to fill a bit back up! If you read this far, thank you. And may you have a beautiful day!
It’s been a hard week. If anyone could help I’d appreciate it!
Homeless on the streets & could use some coffe to warm me up
Caught a cold while I'm in a foreign country. Just a few friends here and the illness seems quite isolating. I would feel much better if someone could get me a cup of coffee/hot chocolate.
Be well ❤️🩹
Hi, I could really use a coffee pick me up right now. I would be greatly appreciative if anyone can help me out
PLZ SEND COFFEE lol McDonald's coffee is perfectly fine or any coffee / huge caffeine boost would be a god send it's my first night back to work after being off on medical leave due to having a stroke last fall.
Hi there! Tomorrow marks my birthday, and unfortunately, I'll likely be spending it alone. As a European conducting research in a small college town in the Midwest, I haven't had the chance to meet many people here. It would mean a lot to me if someone could help brighten my day by sending some coffee my way.
McD,onald's delivers coffee where I am, I also have an amazon wishlist with mutiple choices of coffe if it's easier. Lost my 12 yo cat this week after 12 wonderful years. no coffee makes it even more unbearable . anything would be greatly appreciated. and I will also pay it forward next month.
I've spent the weekend at hospice with my dad, and as rough as it's been, a cup of coffee would really help the experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
As I reflect on these past six years, marked by a heart-wrenching divorce from my partner, who I considered my best friend, and bidding farewell to my trusty SUV, which had faithfully been with me through college and two cross-country moves, I am reminded of the importance of small comforts during times of turmoil, provided by the warmth of a lovingly crafted pour-over.
As the dust settles on this transitionary period, even this daily ritual has become more sparse, and my financial situation has been affected. If you happen to come across this message, I would greatly appreciate it if you could buy me a bag of beans to help me re-establish the simple pleasure of brewing coffee at home. Your kindness would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and may all your extractions be balanced.
Unfortunately I haven’t had the money for a coffee in a while due to lack of income, when I had my last job it would be the first thing to get each payday. The instant jar coffee just isn’t the same
I'm currently going through a major life transition. For financial reasons, I've had to temporarily give up on indulging in some of the small luxuries that bring me joy.
To make it brief, I had surgery for ulnar entrapment six weeks ago, and at the same time, I left a five year relationship that had become abusive.
Luckily, the surgery was a fairly simple procedure, but still requires time to heal, and being a tradesperson (I do interior/exterior painting for a living) meant having no income for the last few weeks.
I was able to return to work this week, and on the second day back, my damn truck began overheating, so I had to leave it in a parking lot to have it towed to mechanic. I've made it to work by lugging myself and all my tools for the job on the city bus.
I've been staying in a shelter for five weeks, and I will be here until I've saved enough money to rent a house.
I hope this explanation isn't emitting negativity, because I actually feel very optimistic and motivated. I also feel extremely grateful to have a safe and comfortable place to lay my head while I recover emotionally. Nevertheless, grief and stress are features of my day for now, and I could really benefit from a good cup of coffee. Thanks!!
Hello I’m currently homeless and had a had a terrible day. I saved up 55$ to take my dog to the vet because he has some sort of skin problem that has made him really itchy. Sleeping on the streets I haven’t been able to give him a bath so I thought that was the problem so my friend helped me out and let me wash him but he still had the issue which is why I took him to the vet. The vet told me they could give him a shot which is way to expensive for me or they can give me medicine and a shampoo for him which is less costly but still 65$ which is way to much for me considering I’m homeless. If anyone can spare a cup of coffee to help me through tonight I would really appreciate it. If it does happen to be Starbucks maybe I can also get the boy a pup cup to maybe make his time a little less miserable. He is my best friend and he is all I have anymore so it has really put me in a bad mindset. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read.
I'm not sure how active this sub is or if I'd even get anything but I'm a struggling college student who doesn't have any money at the moment. Between college and money I've been pretty stressed lately. I'm supposed to get paid soon but they keep delaying it and I'm not sure when it's gonna arrive.
Not sure if this info helps but we don't have a Dunkin here but we do have a Starbucks.
I'm a hard working father of 3, so when I don't work I'm up all the time with my kids. Unfortunately I am their sole provider and rarely get sleep on work days, as well as am drained financially most weeks. If someone could help me with some coffee to get through my 12 hour night shift it would be greatly appreciated. Cashapp is $Tribalwolf13
It's 4 am. I am lonely. Tired. Working on something for work. Someone hurt me today. I'm isolated, and no one cares. Coffee would help.
I don’t like asking for help, but things have been really hard lately. My grandmother used to tell me, “It will all work out.” but everything just feels so heavy and I don’t know if I believe that anymore. I apologize for the pessimism, but I’m constantly having to wear a mask for my children’s sake, and sometimes it’s nice to let that slip in a place where I’m nameless.
Any coffee will do as I cannot afford to be picky. I’m terrible at putting post out for this type of stuff so apologize if it’s short. I also would exchange some art for coffee.
There are a plethora of reasonably priced coffee machines available. You may want to check out the gallacoffee blog, where they provide recommendations on the greatest discounts on all of the top coffee machines, allowing you to taste fantastic coffee! , I would also want to provide some recommendations for machines.
