There are at least four missing people from the Racine area, they are mostly old cold cases but still deserve attention for the sake of the families. I've listed them below, also a link to a page with more information for each. Please keep on the lookout for them as well as evidence of them, clothing, shoes, jewelry, even bones - most of the time people assume they are animal bones, and most of the time they are, but it's worth checking with authorities about it. Please don't downvote me, I'm just trying to help these families get answers.
Lasheky Hill, 1300 block of Douglas Avenue * not an old case, just went missing in the last year.
Lynn Rickard, Hickory Haven home park area, Dover
Norbert Stapleton, Burlington, near where the Stepping Stone Halfway Home was
Chris Winkler, Burlington Bohner's Lake area
Thanks so much, Stay safe folks.
Want to treat my wife to a massage for her birthday on Friday. She's never had one in town so she doesn't have her own preference. Please feel free to refer someone to us.
Thank you
Howdy neighbors,
Looking for your Racine home cleaning recommendations. I’ve fallen into a bit of a depression this month and cleaning everything around me is feeling extremely overwhelming.
Things are just a bit messier than I’d like them to be and I feel like this would be a weight off my shoulders.
Any good home cleaner recommendations?
Thanks!
Does anyone remember the old Tarzan swing at cliffside Park in the woods? I was out there today reliving some childhood memories with my son and for the life of me I couldn't find the area. I know the rope came down a long time ago but I thought I could easily find the area but we just couldn't find it. Maybe it eroded too much and it didn't look the same.
The Racine Journal Times, which recently had its staffers attempt to unionize, laid off at least three reporters this week.
Lee Enterprises, owner of the Journal Times, has done similar cuts in the Kenosha News in recent years and recognized the Kenosha NewsGuild union for collective bargaining purposes.
For anyone who has been wanting one, the Democratic Party of Racine County got in some Harris / Walz yard signs. You don't have to have been on a waiting list this time. Their office hours are on their Facebook page.
I am going to salmon fishing tomorrow. Anyone knows if the salmon comes to root river yet?
Many items of great value at very cheap prices
Are there any salmon in the root river yet?
I’m a gay male who was originally from Kenosha and moved to New Mexico when I was in middle school. Since then I’ve really wanted to return to the Midwest, specifically my hometown. My question is what would there be for someone my age? I’m not super picky considering I’ve lived in a tiny town(less than 5,000 people) and just want a taste of life away from the southwest.
P.s- I did want to go back to Kenosha but it seems like the prices of rent have gone up recently..
Earlier this week, my father went to get a Kamala Harris campaign sign at the local chapter and said there was a long line.
However, I haven't seen many of them in the community, and wondered if some unsavory people are hoarding them and not placing them in the yards, therefore, diminishing things.
Earlier this month, while in Burlington, I saw someone covered up a Harris sign with a Trump bumper sticker. Why do people do this?
I created some time-lapse videos of the Reefpoint Marina I’d like to share. I enjoy a good time lapse and find them really fun to watch. Been finding interesting ways to sort the images, I have images since 2016.

I’m thinking of buying a house in Racine. I’ve lived in developing areas that some might deem less desirable so I’m trying to keep an open mind.
However, it’d be very helpful if any of you locals could point out some areas that might have some more problems than others. The more you can share the better
Thanks!
Ps. Currently looking near Davies Park and by Main/Barker
Your wife is a hoe and your momma still sucks better than you ❤️
I’m gonna be headed up to Racine around early October. I’m wondering what the best time of year is for the salmon to run as well as what people catch the most fish on. Is anyone familiar with the area?
Where do you guys fish? Lincoln park? I need ideas, thanks.
Hey everyone.
I decided to start a dedicated discord server for the city of Racine and surrounding areas. Really, anyone is invited, but I figured it'd be nice to have a community chat that can link everyone in the area (City of Racine, Mt. Pleasant, Franksville, Caledonia, Sturtevant, etc.) together and hopefully new friends can be made and thoughts, events, and ideas can be shared. I haven't seen a discord server dedicated to just the Racine area, so I figured why not. I'm going to be working on setting up the different channels in the server. if you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

As a non-drinker, does Racine have any night-life venues that tailor to the non-alcoholic crowd?
