Hello dear Sony community
I'm looking for experiences with the Sony ZV1F as webcam or talking head-streaming camera on Mac Sequoia. Does it work well (without having to bypass with for example OBS)?
Like can, you just plug and play and start using it as camera device, like, for example a DJI Pocket 3?
Thank you for sharing some experiences
All the best :) Félix
SteamRail in Gippsland Victoria today. RX100 mk1.
In the upper left hand corner of my zv-1 (in the attached video) is a sorta "countdown". This is in any photo mode. What is that? Thanks'
Taken with my Sony rx100vii (OC)
I know eBay, of course, but where are reputable places/web sites to buy a used RX 100 vii?
hiiii my friend loves the quality and the size of the sony rx100 vii but can't afford it, any cheaper alternatives? he resides in malaysia
hii i recently got a digicam, a fujifilm a220 and that kinda sparked an interest in photography but i think for now they are a little pricey so i’m thinking of getting a sony camera instead
i’m going on a trip soon so i wanted to get a camera that is portable
Budget: SGD 1K
Country: Singapore
Condition: Preferably used but idm new too
Type of Camera: Point and shoot
Intended use: Mainly for photography and maybe the occasional video
photo style: street, scenery, architecture, travel sunset or beach photos or wildlife too (animals, plants etc)
video style: causal vlogging
What features do you absolutely need: viewfinder, flash
What features would be nice to have: preferably if i don’t need to edit the pics or vids and they’re nice out of the camera as is
Portability: should be light enough for travel and it shld make me want to constantly get it out to take pics because i think if it’s too heavy or bulky i will not
Cameras you're considering:
sony alfa 6100
sony rx100 iii
sony a6000
sony rx 100 mark iii
Cameras you already have: fujifilm a220
If mainly wanting a stills photography camera would the Va be best with the faster lens but less zoom or does the vii have features making it better for primarily stills photography. I don’t do much video. Or maybe Ricoh is better??
I'm on the hunt for a leather (real actual hide of a dead fucking animal) case that is either specific to the RX100 VII or for a camera of similar dimensions. It would be a bonus if said case had space for 2-3 filters and an extra battery.
I can't tell you how many items I have found that seem promising, but when you dig into the details, they mention the "leather" is "PU leather" or some similar bullshit. I hate fake leather.
Any recommendations would be lovely.
i just bought the Rx100 vii and am new to photography
I bought the M1 many years ago and it is the only camera I have. Since I am starting doing some regular weekend trekking I want to leverage on them to take some pictures. Do you think that this old camera would work good and can be a first step into photography?
I have taken this Picture with my M7 in Strasbourg, France
M7 user here. I was trying to get the fluid motion effect with a 0.5 second shutter. I'm having trouble reducing the exposure, even after it's set to -2. ISO at 64 and f/11 it's still too bright. The fluid motion effect it great though but really need help reducing the exposure.
