Can I use my meal swipe for my 2 guests at a dining hall? Also I have the 12 swipe meal plan.
Hi everyone,
I'm subleasing my room in a 3 bedroom apartment at Incite at Troy in downtown for the spring semester (lease runs until May). The other two roommates are both male students, one at HVCC, one at RPI. The apartment has in-unit washer and dryer, a full kitchen (including dishwasher), a balcony, two full bathrooms, and is fully furnished. The complex has a gym, a game room (with board games and arcade games), a parking garage (which costs extra), and several conference rooms. Attached are some photos of the floor plan of our unit from the apartment. Ours isn't decorated like the unit in the pictures, so, if you'd like any photos of the actual unit, please ask as well.
The rent is $950/mo with utilities, but I'm negotiable on the price as I just want to get it subleased. If interested or if you have any questions, please pm me here. Thanks.
Hello, I am currently looking to sublease my room in my apartment. My apartment is located on Congress Street and is about a 7-10 minute walk to campus. The rent and full utilities are covered for 650 a month. 4 other male roommates currently live there. There is a sizable kitchen and living room with two bathrooms which has been more than enough space for the five of us with an in-unit washer and dryer. DM me for more details if you are interested.
Hi there!
My name is Tyler, and I'm writing to offer free personal or group tutoring services for CS1 and Data Structures for the remainder of the semester. I'm a Computer Science & Philosophy graduate living in the area, and, given my experience as a CS1, DS, and Also mentor, I know how helpful it can be to have someone with experience walk you through a homework, a concept, or any other kind of problem. Sessions can occur anywhere you're comfortable with on campus, and I should have access to all of the buildings through the remainder of the semester.
I'm open to any kind of sessions. If you just want to sit down and power through a homework you're struggling with, if you want to walk through a problem you missed on the exam or do some practice problems, even if you just want to vent about the CS degree, career prospects ... whatever, I'm here to assist. This isn't any kind of gimmick or search for clients where I'll eventually I ask you to pay. I just want to help while everyone crams at the end of the semester.
So if you, a group, or anyone you know is interested in free personal tutoring, please reach out to me here. You can also email me at baught@rpi.edu. For more information on me, see my LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tyler-baughcome/.
Thanks,
Tyler
Looks like they opened more seats so I’m thinking about getting it out of the way this semester. Curious who you recommend between Belanger and Cohen.

Applying to RPI for fall '25 term and trying to find any info about the Troy area next to campus. On West coast so can't see it in person. Is RPI campus walkable to any restaurants, bars, stores, in a city neighborhood etc? Or is campus isolated and students have to drive to do anything off campus? Scouring online but can only find videos with on-campus tours and no info on the immediate area around the campus besides a map. Also applying to RIT and Stevens so trying to get comparisons. Any info appreciated, thanks!
Hey r/RPI! I’m looking for someone to sublet my current room from January through the end of the lease term in May. The apartment is fully furnished, and there is a shared laundry space in the basement. There’s room for an extra car in the driveway, but it’s only about a 10 minute walk to campus which is still closer than RAHPS-B…
There’s a sizable dining room and living room with some nice couches and a TV (I don’t know the size but it almost didn’t fit on our coffee table).
Rent + utilities is about $675 a month. It’s an Amicus property so maintenance is all handled through an app and so far they’ve been very good about addressing requests. They even left pumpkins on our doorstep for October (and threw a couple of pizza parties).
Please message me if you’re interested and I’d be happy to provided more information and some photos!
Hey, who here is in the BSAN masters program? I just got accepted into the co-term, from a fairly non-coding major (I do have background coding tho, but just a bit). What should I focus on? Anything I should learn that would probably aid me in some way for the majority of the masters program? Thank you
Sublease for Spring 2025 semester (January-May)
$725/month. DM me if interested.
If you have back-work dm me
I'm an upcoming PhD student and I've narrowed down to 3 apartments to choose from:
1.River's Edge
2.Hudson Preserve
I'm looking at their 1-bedroom floor plans. Is there anything (pros/cons) I should know about each of these apartments? Thanks!
This is my first semester at rpi. I took two courses and i am in grade (B+/A-) range in one course. But i am failing in another. The professor has 80% on exams and 20% on projects. I am certainly failing. She did not agree to give me any extra credits projects. What would be the consequences if i fail one course😥
Also who’s best to contact about this info?
MITR, HCI, WebSci, Marketing Principles, Operations Management
Will I hate my existence? I’m finishing up a 20 credit semester with stats, focs, and comporg so that’s the bar to beat. Thanks
Me and a roommate got a bit tangled in apartment situations, and we would definitely like someone to potentially take over our 2 rooms in a 3 bedroom unit at Incite at Troy (10 King Street).
This lease takeover would just be for the spring semester at minimum, but you could definitely stay longer. If you want details or are interested, please DM me!
Update: These two leases aren’t tied together. If you want just one unit instead of both that works just as great!
I am seeking a 3-month rental starting December 1. I would prefer a one-bedroom apartment or a private room in an all-female apartment. Any leads would be appreciated.
