If anyone has seen a grey surface pro with RPI biology and RARE stickers on it lmk. Last seen SCC 337
Edit: Already checked APO, pubsafe, and CCPD
Does anyone know where/ how I can print a few stickers on campus? I know the forge has a machine but do you need a membership to use it or can I just pull up
I am looking for Back work from this semester for this class since I already want to prepare for the class for the spring semester.
Has anyone studied "Economics of Innovation and New Technologies"? Any comments about this course.
Not to clog this subreddit up with more sublet posts, but a sublet for a 1bed 1bathroom room is available in City Station East starting in the Spring semester. You would be living with 1 other roommate. Rent prices are as they are on the City Station website for a 2bed apartment. If you are interested please contact me via DM.
Hi, I am a freshman at RPI this year and I am really not enjoying it. I’ve joined about 5 clubs and haven’t made any friends from them. I just feel really alone and the courses are really hard for me. So, I just feel like I'm putting in so much work and still not getting the grades I want. There is also not much to do around here unless you go to Walmart or take a 2 hour bus ride to the mall. I’m starting to consider transferring, is that a good idea?
Wtf is that horrid smell near Pittsburgh building. It’s been like three weeks but it hasn’t gone away
I am a sophomore and I've completed Calc 1 - Diff eq and FOA credits for math. I was hoping to get into linear algebra this semester before starting my capstone however they're both full and the professors as well as my advisor have not been any help in getting in. I emailed Kramer to register for intro to Complex Variables and he said he'd put me in but he recommends I take more 4,000 level classes before I take his class. Do you guys have any recommendations on MATH/MATP classes at the 4,000 level to take that would be good prep/aren't proof based?
I lost my car keys Monday. I was wondering where I should go to see if they have been retrieved or if anyone has saw them. There for a ford and has a red rpi lanyard.
Hello! My name is Nara and I’m looking to sublet my bedroom for the Spring 2025 semester – here are the details:
Looking for someone responsible and tidy. Shoot me a message at (415) 272-6832 if interested or if you have questions! 😊
I have a city station apartment that someone can rent for the spring 2025 semester. It is 1 bedroom with its own bathroom in a 4 bedroom apartment. It has its own washer and dryer and dishwasher shared with the 4 total people. It is in city station west on the 2nd floor along with the gym and parking lot. Message me if interested
So, I just realized that I cannot take Intro to Cognitive Science, as it's major restricted. I'm currently enrolled as a CS Major, and I've already taken both CS1 and DS. I'm taking FOCS next semester, but not Comp Org, as I'm considering dueling in CSE, plus I'm a semester ahead in CS and I didn't want 8 AMs every morning. Also, I've already taken Calc I, II, and now Multi, so I've cleared my math requirements. I also got my HASS inquiry done in my first semester.
My Current Schedule looks like this:
Intro to Biology
Intro to Ecse
Foundations of Computer Science

I'm now in the weird conundrum of a second-semester Freshman, and I don't know what to take for my fourth course. Any suggestions?
Thoughts on this class and any recommendations?
I’m subletting my fully furnished 1B1B room in a 3B3B apartment at City Station East, starting after this semester. The complex offers great amenities, including a gym, study room, and parking lot. All utilities—electricity, water, and WiFi—are included in the lease.
The rental price follows the official rates from City Station East’s website, but I’m open to negotiating for a monthly lease.
If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Hello, I am looking to sublet my bedroom for the fall semester in a 4 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. Rent is $625 (utilities included) but I’m willing to cover up to $200 per month which means you’ll only have to pay $425! It is located about a 10 minute walk from campus and has a private driveway shared with 1 other house. The apartment is fully furnished and shared with 3 male roommate. Lease ends May 31st. Please send me a message if interested 🙂
I'm currently a first-semester freshman, and sometimes I struggle to find a good place to study. I can sit down at any good cafe downtown and get some work done. The union and library get tiring at times. Any suggestions?
Has anyone studied this course? Is it hard?
I’m looking for options for an online physics 2 course to take over the summer (preferably on the less expensive side) because I’ve heard that the RPI physics 2 is awful and I want to clear up room in my schedule. I’m mainly just looking for courses that are self paced (I will have a summer job) and where the credits will definitely transfer to rpi. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Hi everyone! I am looking for a male roommate to take the lease of one of the rooms in a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment from December/January. The lease is till July 31, 2025.
Feel free to DM for further details.
Selling bedframe, mattress, adjustable desk, chairs, bookshelf , tv stand etc If youre interested in any of the above do reachout Thanks
hi everyone, there’s a lost or stray cat outside of the Union right now. i couldn’t go up to it because i’m pretty allergic. It’s grey and looks like it’s about 1 year old. it was very friendly so i’m worried it might be a lost pet but it had no collar on. if anyone sees it and knows who to call, that would be awesome.
Ugh I’ve been enjoying my time at RPI but I’m struggling so hard financially. I am working part time but it’s not enough money and at the same time, I’m a dual major so the struggle is real with the course load and I’m also not a smart person so I genuinely have to put in work to get good grades. I’m just tired of being stressed and I’m just praying I am able to get an internship for my ARCH semester away. Can anyone tell me if they were able to get good jobs after rpi and that this struggle will all be worth it?
I'm currently enrolled in this class. I went to APO to see if they had any back-work, but they did not. I was wondering if anyone had any back-work like exams, hw, etc, for the class. It would help me out a lot!
