A gathering place for the brewheads of little Rhodey to share pics, reviews, news, and discussions on local beer from RI and the surrounding New England area.
Welcome 401 Craftheads! The craft beer hive mind on Reddit is alive and booming, and I thought it time RI had it's own dedicated beer space akin to our state's thriving Facebook groups. Share pictures of your current sip, news on local happenings, reviews of new brews, homebrew recipes, event promotions, discussion threads and more!
While beer from little Rhodey is obviously a main focus, feel free to share your finds and brews from the greater New England area as well. After all, we're all a hop skip and a jump away from some of the countries rapidly rising stars in craft beer.

Does anyone have an update on this brewery in Cranston. The latest update I could find was back in December calling for a July 2024 opening.
I'll be with family in Jamestown for next week, and hoping to drink some good stuff. Tilted Barn is already a priority, and I'm going to try to get to Long Live and Proclamation, but is there anything else closer to/on Jamestown itself worth checking out? Package store/bottle shops or bars/restaurants with good local stuff would be appreciated.
Does anyone know if Community Bruin Co. is still open? Google is listing them as permanently closed. Seems like a weird place but it would be too bad if they closed after only a couple years.
Hey everyone,
I'm excited to announce a project I’ve been working on for the past year! I’ve created and co-authored a Children’s Book about beer – "Hop the Hare, the Honey & the Bear: A Crafty Tale of Lagers & Ales".
The story is fun, beautiful, and adventurous for the kids and full of veiled beer references and history for the adults. There is nothing like it on the market.
If you want more information, here is the link to the website: www.hopthehare.com
It's a fantastically original, funny, and stunning book. As a CT resident, it would be *great* if you could share the link and the word on this book. It's a great gift too and at a presale discount right now!
Cheers!
Matt
I've been stuck in the house for way too long and would really like to venture out this weekend. Are there any breweries that are open and serving pours inside? I know Proclamation is only selling cans to-go, but that's the only brewery I've visited lately.

Hey everyone!
I'm running a CT Brewery March Madness Tournament. I'm picking the first 40 breweries and leaving the remaining 28 breweries to be voted in by you.
After the brackets are set, we'll have a traditional March Madness bracket challenge. Cash prizes will be had for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishes. You need to add your email to the link below to be eligible for prizes.
After brackets are submitted, we will then have the public vote on every single match-up and I will do the corresponding write-ups for each round. It should be fun and the more people we get involved, the better the competition will be, so *please share*.
Appreciate everyone's participation! Here is the link.
