Have been working on improving my coaster layouts and Volcania seemed to be a fun challenge. No budget, just trying to make good designs. Open RCT2 "Enable All Drawable Track Pieces" was turned on, and scenery was added to increase the Compact Inverted's excitement over 6.70. :)
Even though they don’t necessarily exist in real life. At least in America. They’re much easier in this game.
I put the brollies up for £20 and not once did it rain in the three years 😂 😂 😂, so none sold. I still won the objective though.
Dear RCT players, I am currently trying to rebuild my absolute favorite rollercoaster Voltron Nevera (and the surrounding area). I have already invested a lot of work and am making progress step by step. Of course it would be absolutely irresponsible to make a Europa-Park recreation without Euro Mir, so I have attached a Euro Mir screenshot, even if it is not quite finished yet. I hope you like my recreation.
I have been encountering so many lags and glitches with my rct2 game through gog. the game just shuts off and I lose all my progress. what other service should I play the game with? or how can i fix the problem? I’m using windows 12:/
Any tips on trying to make this? And what would be the best coaster to try?
I always thought I’ve heard move your tongue And that phrase has been stuck in my head since I was a kid. And finally I’m sharing it with you all. 🤣
I've heard lots of good things about them and I remember having seen them doing important things in a few Marcel Vos videos. But when I go to make one myself, there's no inversions, which means there aren't really many options to make cool-looking coasters. Even the regular woodies have a vertical loop, for goodness sake.
So how are they good? Are the only possible designs just a series of hill after hill?
(I play on classic although I doubt it matters)
Edit: Doesn't run well on my PC. I have a good PC. Can run Resident Evil 4 and Elden Ring with good graphics and frame rate all that jazz.
I bought RCTDeluxe thinking that I might encounter some jankiness.. playing Everquest 1999 prepared me to understand what a 20 year old game may play like in 2024. But I was encountering crashes, my aspect ratio was all messed in menus and most alarming was that it was running my PC's fans very high which I do not like. They never go that hard for anything. The frame rate for the game seemed fine but I was not expecting fan speeds to be a factor. I'm on Windows 10.
Also was surprised to see it be 800+ mb which obviously isn't that much but there's no way the original game was that big, right? What's that about?
Anyhow I requested a refund from Steam but I actually really wanted to play the game in the original form like I remembered from a kid, are there workarounds for these issues? Also can I get it to play in windowed mode?
Should I just get Classic?
