Does anyone else feel that after Zack says "Welcome Down With The Warrior Sound" it should have been more explosive I mean I still love Mic Check but if they did that it'd probaly make the song better for me
i just noticed that ratm has measly 10 millions listeners on spotify while limp bizkit has 15 millions. This makes no sense to me. ratm may not be the most mainstream artist, but their standing in the rock scene is indisputable, they are the kind of bands whose music never falls out of time like queens or nirvana. yet somehow they are outmatched in popularity by some mediocre nu metal band which was supposedly only part of short-lived fad of the genre. Spotify first came out in much later years after this nu metal fad had ended for good, and half of spotify listeners are gen z who never experience this shitty fad to guilt-listen to it out of sheer nostalgia. don't tell me ratm is losing its relevance while a band that is all about misogyny and toxic masculinity keeps on gaining tractions from subsequent generations. is this some kind of future we have to face?
Twenty (or more) years ago I found a compilation CD in a used record store of several artists, including a fantastic live cover of “Talkin’ ‘bout A Revolution” by RATM. Does anyone else have this or know where I can find it?
By chance does anyone have any live shows from late September or into October?
Hey everyone, I went to upload my copy of Live At The Quad onto YouTube Music and the CD is too scratched up to read. Does anyone have this and would be willing to PM me? Wanted to ask you about a specific song.
My favorite album by my favorite band!
I've been getting really into hard rock and would like to broaden my music taste to different artists. I've been listening to self titled album on repeat, I need something new.
I am working on a project i am doing about music fighting for social change. Thinking messaging from artists like RATM, Authority Zero, etc.
Please let me know If you have any artists with similar themes for me to check out.
Also I'd appreciate if anyone could recommend any research or things talking about the growth of this kind of theming and messaging in music as well as its social impact.
