I've known about QC for a while but didn't want to get into quake until recently. I'm really bad, but I'm looking for people to play with in anticipation for quake 6. I'd like to learn more about the game, but don't feel obligated to coach or anything. I also have quake live and Q1/2 if anyone wants to play those too. DM or comment and let me know!

I love that I can play blood covenant over and over without queue with bots and still earn XP. In quake live I usually do campgrounds/blood covenant and do brain rot insta gib. It's nice to just be able to play the game mode and map you like without a problem, with custom scoring.

I will say though the bots in this game are a REAL piece of work. Playing on easy bots feels more like playing extreme difficulty bots. This was sorta the way it was in quake live but definitely they are even harder here lmao.

Anyway yeah custom games with XP is cool.

Edit: also just in general the visual and auditory feedback, the way things feel, is all really good. The game is a nice change of pace from quake live. It definitely feels a bit more "tactile" or "mechanical" than quake live but it's nice and unique. I definitely suggest you buy quake live and give that a shot too if you've only played quake champions.

Literally no point in him existing when there's SORLAG as an option. Same acceleration, same max speed, (25 more on Anarki i mean.... really... 25???). Free 75 armor on respawn while Anarki has 0 lmao.

Bigger hitbox? Maybe when viewed from the front, sideways Anarkis model is literally easier to hit...

So what exactly is the advantage Anarki has that makes him a better pick than Sorlag in certain situations?

I mean the balancing is unreal....

Been playing for 3-4 years now and it’s my go to game. I mainly play TDM and lately the matches are taking longer to find and the chat is becoming more toxic which I think is due to the lower player base. I love this game and it hurts me to see it in this state. Sadly It might be time to move on but it’s gonna be hard :(

I believe in 2017 that we have qc same at game intro - grim, dark, not too quick but tasty fighting gameplay average between doom3, doom2016 and close style ingame graphics to intro style graphics. But in reality we have something else. In short i whant see new Quake same as at intro QC.

I've heard that there are some lore scrolls in this game that basically confirm a connection between Quake 1 and 2 and place them on a single timeline. I haven't been able to find many details though, could anyone provide an explanation? Which lore scrolls discuss the connection?

Slow start but im sure i make it up for you by the end.. i did not accept loosing this 😅

I never posted my gameplay on reddit so im not sure what to expect but its ok if i get roasted.

i could edit only highlights together to make myself look better but I think raw footage is also interesting because it better demonstrates the mental challenge in the game, when you need to keep going even if you are trailing behind. And how it is effecting my decision making as in willing to take more risks to turn the game over before im running out of time. This is why i decided to name it ffa warrior :)

Every opinion i get online about the weapon is from a year or more ago. So i'm curious about more up to date opinions about it
