I know they said they will adjust the rewards and all. But CN better not complain if Kuro also adjusts the packs. Looking at this GUESSTIMATE spreadsheet, my wallet's probably gonna cry. LMAO

Note: the patch dates are just GUESSES (only polaris bond is confirmed). These are not real dates for each patches. Also, the grouping of each patches are also not real ones. So do not focus on them. This is just to show how much a player really needs now that patches are being condensed.

Guys I kinda fizzled out during the Black Rock Shooter Collab. Can someone provide a detailed recap for me on what did I missed? And how do I get Watanabe Epitaph ? Like I don see it in my R&D

im a new player and just tryna understand the story but im confused about a chapter?? 😭 so in chapter 11, nona ouroboros, we are sent on a solo mission and arent allowed to tell our teammates about it. then, theyre all aboard on the ship. then, we meet pulao. she explains and tells that everyone is under the control of huaxu, an ai. then, they come up with a plan to save qu. lucia participates in the trade fair and we unexpectedly meet chrome kamui. soon, gray raven get the chance to approach qu, where she us brings to the control room.

and heres where i dont understand..

the “qu” isnt the actual qu? if so, then who is it? the puppet..?? and they arent actually under the control of huaxu. turns out huaxu is innocent. and “qu” is trying to find a perfect construct so they could act as a vessel for huaxu. also, who is villier?

im so confused, id appreciate if someone could explain this chapter to me😓

I'm so glad darens been replaced on the ion team. Hopefully she'll get replaced sooner rather than later on dark elemental team.

Wanted to make a post regarding the recent news that other servers are going to be sped up in order to match CN.

While at first glance, this seems like a good thing, it may not be all it's cracked up to be. The MAIN positives I've seen people have regarding the news is the excitement factor, since things are going to hit you faster, it's more exciting, rather than have to wait a year. (This I find myself pretty unconcerned with, I still get excited knowing that someone got a frame/became playable, as eventually I'll be able to get them too. So not "wrong", just not my thing.)

Not having to wait as long for characters is nice, but it's only temporary, as once we're caught up, they'll still get released at a "normal" rate.

I can't think of any other positives for the players I've seen other than this, if you can think of them feel free to let me know.

As for the negatives, I think it will impact different groups of spenders differently.

F2P: Honestly, I think they will have it the best out of all the groups during the 'catch-up' phase. In-game resources are pretty easy to compensate. PPC and Clash Reflection rewards, as well as weekly rewards can be multiplied pretty easily.

Dolphins/Low-Spenders: They will probably have it the worst out of the bunch. The problem is Kuro will have a lose-lose scenario. If they multiply rewards for PAID packs, such as the BP/Tactical Assessment, they could risk angering CN players, as everyone else would be getting a much better deal than they did. If Kuro doesn't, they risk angering non-CN players, as the value will either go down immensely, or if they run multiple Monthly Passes/BPs at the same time, players will be asked to spend more within a short time limit. Since people generally have an extra amount month to month of spending money, players will not be able to go over the limit of spending. Add in the fact that this is a sudden change that is ONLY happening because Kuro has made it so, you risk disillusionment with the devs, and likely dropping the game.

I haven't even gone into the fact of RC coatings, which become EXTREMELY problematic, as they're limited time availability. Plus, RC coatings and Gacha coatings have become increasingly common with recent updates, so things are already looking grim. Again, missing a skin simply due to a decision from the devs is not a good path to have to take.

Whales: True whales will probably not care at all, however there are many that sure, can buy out the shop as it comes in every patch, but ask them to buy out 3 shops at once? That would put them over the limit. The more pressure there is in what you spend, many will end up running into similar problems that the Dolphins/Low-Spenders had. If you risk angering your MAIN source of income, that's a big no-no.

Once we catch up:

F2P: Here's where the reckoning will actually hit F2P. We've been in a lucky spot where we can see multiple patches ahead, and plan accordingly. You know who is coming out, what free selectors to plan on, which skins are dropping when etc. It allowed F2P to plan out their resources. How many times have you seen someone commenting that they're skipping a character, or weapon, because they know who comes next? Once we catch up, you lose that, and there will be moments where you have buyer's remorse over spending in a place where, had you known ahead of time, you wouldn't have.

Dolphins/Low-Spenders: Again, I think they have it the worst of the bunch, without the clairvoyance mentioned previously, you won't know whether it's really safe to buy that RC skin, or go for the Gacha skin, or grab the extra copy/sig weapon. For example, I'm a huge Vera enjoyer (obligatory *WOOF*) but the 300 RC skin isn't a good pick-up considering who is coming out. Had I not known, I probably would have gotten it and then been sad that she's getting replaced.

Whales: I'd say once we're caught up, they will have it the best of the bunch, as the negatives I mentioned earlier won't be in play. Not much more to say other than that, there's no real negative I can think of.

Could they do it right? Sure. I just don't think it's very probable they will. There are simply too many risks for too little reward. Do it right and they will probably get some more players, and more money due to people not having enough info to know better, then need to spend money to support their pulls (which is why I personally think they're doing it in the first place). Do it wrong and you'll kill the main playerbase outside of CN.

If only some of these were coatings...

These are just my opinions, but I'd love to see and hear what others had to say. Do I think they're going to stop because of this post? No. There are too many people who are seeing this as a good thing for us to give enough pushback for the devs to go back on their plan. But because of that I wanted to put this post up to show some opposition and hear some other people out.
