Hi everyone. My wife and I are moving to Pullman for a job I just accepted at WSU. We are in our early to mid thirties with no kids and really enjoy the outdoors. We both play golf, while I enjoy running/hiking and her biking. We’re thinking about joining the CrossFit gym since we both like working out but more so for the social connection. Anyone have any recommendations for things to do or places where we can make some friends? Will also post in Moscow subreddit. Thanks!
I have a bunch of foreign coins(drachmas, yen, etc;) and I was wondering if there was anywhere I could trade them in for some cash or if anyone just wants to buy them off me. I’ve got probably 20-30 coins including a wheat back penny and some French coins, some old and some in good condition. Dm for details
In short, same as the title! Does anyone have a Mazda CX-50 or Mazda CX-5 in Pullman? I need to see if my dog crate fits in the back to see if it's viable for me to buy one.
In long, the mini-van that moved me here a little over a year ago needs repairs that are out of the question. I'm looking at all possible new mid-size SUV's that have back seats that fold flat, because I'm here on a yearly Postdoc contract, and I never know when I need to move myself and my 2 cats somewhere else for a permanent job.
I love the Mazda CX 30, but need a little more space in the trunk to put the dog crate that my cats stay in for long-distance moves, so if anyone has a Mazda CX-50 or Mazda CX-5, could I bike over to some time and try to fit their crate in it? It's a big dog crate. Like 25in (tall) x 22x37in big. Fits them and connects to another cage that fits their liter boxes for 8hr drives.
My wife and I are starting a family. We are interested in doing mommy and me classes and things of that nature (swim, music etc). We'd like to move to Pullman based off of our previous good experiences there. We both work remotely. I am curious as to what it's like there as a lesbian couple raising children there vs visiting for awhile? I see nothing but good stuff in regards to schools, safety, events etc. I suppose I'm wanting to hear from folks and their opinions on if there may be any strikingly large issues or uncomfortability? Granted, there always will be some no matter where we choose to live. Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know about the fire that was on Terre View? It was at the Chief Joseph Village apartments right down the street from Coug Mart. There hasn't been anything about it online yet so I couldn't find anything out.
Found an iPhone on the grass by the corner of Spaulding and Maple. Had a pretty unique case. Dm me with details and we can get it back to you.
Hey there the transmission in my s10 just took a dive and will need a rebuild, has anyone had a transmission work done locally and have suggestions on who would be right for the job?

I live in Pullman and work in Moscow. I drive to Moscow every weekday and am looking for someone to carpool with. I have my own car. I would prefer you have your own car too and we could alternate days or weeks of driving. My work hours are somewhat flexible but I like to be in Moscow for at least 8 hours a day Monday-Thursday. I have a little more freedom to work remotely on Fridays. Let me know if you’re interested and please be prepared to prove you’re a real person with good intentions.
I’m currently in high school looking for colleges. I figured wsu is a good school and google says Pullman is a great city but I want actual peoples opinions. Do you have problems with Pullman, is it a good/safe city, what do people there think of students in wsu, etc.
Any recommendations for who to call for help moving a mattress from an apartment to a storage unit? It’s a full size, no boxspring or frame. It’s too small a job to hire a full-on moving company. Thanks!
We're moving to Pullman within the next year and I'm trying to get an early lead on a new GP. For context, I'm on Adderall and need someone who hopefully won't give me too much grief about it.
Also looking for a gynecologist and a good salon (ideally a bit of a quirky one!) for hair.
Willing to travel for some things, but I'd really like the GP to be local. I've had both men and women GPs and I'm not too picky as long as they're nice people and I feel heard when I have concerns.
Hey there, I’m relatively new to the area and my birthday is this week. I was wondering if there were any local birthday freebies around? Thanks so much!
Asking in this sub because nothing I'm finding online is sold anywhere in Pullman that I know of. Any suggestions?
Are there any tailors in Pullman? Need help taking measurements for a suit.

Things I am looking for are along the lines of: Back in the late eighties, some guy took a ball peen hammer to all the windows down main street. When the cops came, he screamed, "You'll never take me alive!" And smacked himself in the head with the peen side of the head and knocked himself out.
Or, and I know this one because I lived in the house, but the house on 1000 But used to be occupied by Satan worshipers. They preformed rites in a little room off the upstairs bath. It was painted over when I lived there, but you could see the pentagram fading through. Couple this with a church that used to be in the area (maybe still is) who believed that Pullman was the epicenter of Satan's return to the world, and you get me taking a shower quick because any minute the devil might walk out of the little door to the Satan worshiping room.
Reseaon for the request, I am writing a novel set in Pullman that bends toward the weird, any story you drop might end up referenced in a weird novel about dungeon synth, big foot, Pluto and giants returning to the Palouse.
Your attention is appreciated. Cross posting to story net wide.
