Use this subreddit to exchange items with one another, Or just give it away.
As product reviewers, or pursuers of free products, or just normal human beings, we undoubtedly end up with perfectly good stuff we don't need, duplicates of things we already have, and items we thought we wanted but not really.
Use this subreddit to exchange items with one another, or just give it away.
This sub's focus is on giving away great items. It's main intention will be for product reviewers or freebie junkies, or just people who just have too many things, but it can generally be used by anyone giving away whatever, honestly. Try to keep it to nearly new types of stuff - fresh out of the package, used once or twice, or not at all - Not junk
This is a trading and Giving Forum, there will be NO selling taking place in this forum.
Any selling will result in a permanent ban.
We aren't here to argue. We aren't here to complain. We are here to share. Keep that in mind.
We are here to share - this means both giving and receiving. If you are here to share, trade and generally contribute, then by all means, do so. Nobody will be banned for receiving lots of things, but keep in mind the spirit of the sub.
Flair will be assigned to users as transactions are completed indicating their overall give/receive ratio. The higher the number, the more generous the person has been. Eventually, this process will be automated, but for now PM a mod with details of the transaction to get your and the other party's flairs updated.
Links should be very limited. Links to products should be posted in the body of the text. Affiliate or Referral links are OK.
Any fraud, theft, or general deceit will be met with a ban.
We are mainly here to offer products, not ask for products. Your initial post should be a product offer, not a product request. Exceptions to this would be if you post an offer, and detail what kind of items you are looking to trade for. This may be changed to NO requests at anytime should the sub be full of them, with no offers.
No Money should ever change hands (except for reasonable shipping)
Do not sell products. Charging for shipping is fine if it is something that would cost a bit. Charging a few bucks to ship some books to someone is fine. Charging $25 to ship a small box is not, regardless of what is in the box.

Thanks!

Based on this Post, and my comment on that post, I created this sub with the focus on giving away great items. It's main intention will be for product reviewers who just have too many things, but it can generally be used by anyone giving away whatever, honestly. (Just try to keep it to nearly new types of stuff - fresh out of the package, used once or twice, or not at all - Not junk)
I tried to make the rules such that there is no way we can be portrayed as selling products. If you guys have any ideas on how to improve it, or want to help mod the thing, let me know.
