A subreddit for discussing how power operates in our global society- but less about how that power is abused. We're not interested in corruption, because everyone knows that is bad. It's more the day-to-day workings of power that are legal but exploitative anyway.

A subreddit for discussing how power operates in our global society- but less about how that power is abused. We're not interested in corruption, because everyone knows that is bad. It's more the day-to-day workings of power that are legal but exploitative anyway. Talk about how the powerful align everyday citizens to their interests.

RULES

  1. No Ad Hominem: As a way to keep things civil while allowing for disparate points of view, ad hominem comments are not allowed. Saying: “You are stupid” will get you a warning and then a ban. Saying: “That idea is stupid because...” Is fine. This is not a safe space. Ample disagreement is to be expected when participating here. The person you are replying to may be on any side of polarizing issues and we encourage you to counter their arguments instead of replying ONLY: “well that is racist/misogynistic/misandrist/anti-choice/anti-Isreal/Capitalist/barbaric cultural practisey/pro-telegrapher/” or whichever side of these things you fall on.

  2. Do not break the rules of reddit

  3. Do not threaten physical violence, which includes suicide and self-harm related threats

  4. Do not dox

  5. Do not brigade

Neera Tanden is an indefensibly corrupt corporatist and toxic against progressives. Alexandra Rojas should step down from Justice Democrats for defending Tanden. Please don't make us regret supporting JD — or change the name to Injustice Democrats.

My wife and I attended the “Stop the Steal” Trump Insurrection on Wednesday (as observers, NOT participants) and there are FIVE big take-aways from what we witnessed and heard outside the Capitol that I'd like to share. (We took all the pictures below)
