Guys, in need of recommendation for your best Melodic slow power metal tracks...

Some examples of slow melodic tracks are -

Dragon force - trails of broken hearts

Cains Offering - Into the blue

Etc.etc....

Conclusion- Guys , I ve checked your recommendation...some are ok some are toooooooo ballad type(which isn't much of my type)m more of a guitar lover prefer guitar solo tracks..

Some may not understand my post...I hope you guys aren't just random picking slow type songs...I want your best and fav tracks .. with melodic tones and melodic powerful guitars (just like trial of broken hearts song)

The Recent post about Heavenly reminded me of them so I put a lot of their songs in my playlist again. The Song "A Better Me" seems to be a Queen Tribute to me, it's kinda obvious. Today I stumbled upon the song "Destiny" and found a guitar solo in it starting at 0:55 which instantly reminded me of Queens Innuendo. Do you think this is just coincidence or do you know even more possible Queen references within Heavenlys Discography?

I remember not liking Sonata Arctica's The Days of Grays when it first came out but now I'm pretty content to listen to it.

So like Japanese female band that sings about mythical, epic or folklore stuff. Any recommendations?

PLEASE tell me someone else listens to and LOVES Heavenly!! I’ve been listening to Power Metal for years but no one ever mentions them!

Ok all, I need some help with my memory. I've been enjoying some various Christmas themed power metal and there is one song I have a vague recollection of that I can't find anywhere, but I remember it being good. I'm confident you all can help.

The song was a special release and I am 85% sure it was a Christmas or holiday theme. It featured multiple artists, each singing only a few lines. I believe they were all Finnish or possibly Scandinavian. Maybe they were all from the same label? I was made aware of this video because Tony Kakko was featured and I was (am) big into Sonata Arctica.There was a video for it, presumably somewhere on YouTube. Feels like this was 5 years ago +/-.

That jump out to anyone else? I'll comment if I think of other details or am able to find it.

The ambience is sonically perfect on Stratovarius albums. This specific song has anabsence that reminds me of Kamelots Black Halo

And every time they show up in my playlists I think "wait...what Blind Guardian song is this" or "who is Hansi collabing with now?"
