As a post rock/metal/shoegaze guy I always thought the instrumental version of this track would go over well with the community. Curious what you all think, 7 mins with an epic, building ending.
…..may just be ‘Set Guitars to Kill’ by And So I Watch You from Afar. I mean the entire song goes crazy but that opening in particular. Brb, gonna go pick a fight with a reinforced brick & steel wall. Will update on outcome later
Wanted to poll the community and see if we should implement a ban on AI generated music, after a track was recently posted here. Thanks!

Will be eternally grateful.
Hello everyone!, we wanted to open up a discussion about how we approach music as an independent band. EXXASENS is not backed by a major record label or agency—everything we do is DIY (Do It Yourself). From funding and management to PR and concerts, it’s all handled by us, with the help of a small but dedicated group of people who share our vision.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
For us, EXXASENS is more than just a band; it’s a way of life. We strive to create music as pure art, free from the industrial pressures that can sometimes dilute its soul.
We’re curious to know your perspective: How important do you think community and grassroots support are for independent artists? What role does the audience play in shaping the journey of DIY bands? Let’s discuss!
I’ve been binging both SDF and a few post rock bands lately, and found that there’s a lot of crossover between the two.
Thoughts?
Hey guys and gals, I would like to introduce my band BANTAR. Please have a listen and let me know what you think.
55:12 and Rest were two albums i listened to nonstop when I was a teenager; recently revisited them and couldn’t really find any information on them at all. Let alone any album on streaming services
From the album ‘The Woods’. Revisited this album this week & it’s scratching that itch of hopelessness I’ve been craving. Enjoy.
Exactly what the title says does anyone know of any post rock songs, albums, or bands that incorporate bagpipes into their music?
Testing out the idea of a new monthly post where we can discuss what albums were released during the month and what music stands out from the pack. Please add your thoughts below!

I'm revisiting this album, after realizing it was almost exactly 25 years ago when I saw this tragically short lived band live for the first time. Weirdly, or maybe not, they were touring with the Royal Trux.
Few know about this great Seattle band, partly because they have such an overused name, their stuff isn't easy to find, and one can only find them on YouTube, no streaming services have their two records.
But but back to the live show. They played Leave a Clean Camp as their first song. We just stood their with our mouths wide open. That 8 + minutes of beautiful noise changed things for me. Neil Hagerty and crew were great, the Royal Trux were always good live, but Juno just blew them away. Others say they were the best live band they've ever seen....they hit me like a flaming comet from outside of our solar system.
From the album of the same name. Perfect (almost) December music. Enjoy.
Just letting everyone know - now’s your time to pick up so many classic albums. I wish I had waited myself.
Personal recommendations:
Kokomo (all albums)
We Lost the Sea (all albums)
Ranges “33”
Pray for Sound (all albums)

Hey folks,
Is anyone going to the Caspian concert tonight at the Cabot? I'm travelling alone and would love to meet up with new folks, I'll be going in early to line up by around 6-6:15. Feel free to hit me up!
Edit: this was the best night of my life! What a legendary concert this was! Caspian ❤️
