I have a tea set for 14 but only ten tea cups all in excellent condition. Need help with age etc
Hi guys We have a China ware that may be of value. Just want to get a reliable appraisal and auctioneer . We are based in Australia We have no clue where to start. Where do you start ?
I do not collect porcelain I collect things I like but I'm very interestet in the origin I don't care about the price ect I just need to know who made this the only other thing I found is another listing of this exact plate from the same seller but on a diff platform than I bought it pls help me out!
If you know where I could possibly buy another it'd be greatly appreciated!
Anyone know what the top word is? Cross posted trying to solve it!
My elderly mum inherited some pieces, the only information I've been able to find is here:
https://www.thepotteries.org/allpotters/470a.htm
Appears to be made by the original Grimwade Bros between 1885 and 1900-ish, with the 'Pansy' pattern.
We have a large tureen, 5 small plates and 5 large plates (one is chipped). There's also a small tureen (minus the spoon) that my mum wants to keep, but we have to let the rest go. It's been in storage for years, we don't have room to display it and we need to downsize.
Does the fact that it's original G Bros mean that it's worth something? I've trawled google but been unable to find evidence of what these items might sell for.
Grateful for any advice - don't want to give mum's stuff away if she might benefit a little from selling it.
