Tips for driving lower cars after SUVs??

Grew up only driving Ford SUVs, have a 95 Firebird now, but nothing could’ve prepared me for that change in my field of view lol… it’s weird not being able to see the curb! I have never felt unconfident like this, almost feels like I’m 16 again just starting ha. The acceleration, rear wheel drive and steering was an easy adjustment but I still don’t feel as confident as I normally am driving.

Anyone have any tips/words of advice for quickly adjusting to this or ways to practice?

I know this question is kinda lame, you can flame me if you want lol.

05-06 GTO issues

Currently looking to buy a GTO and was curious, what common issues do these cars have? Id only buy the LS2 with a 6spd, something sub 40k miles. Im asking because one of my buddies told me some horror stories about his buddies GTO, was too drunk to remember specifics but was something to do with the drivetrain or transmission and them being unreliable as can be. Hes kind of a dumbass so if none of this is true dont hold me to it please, lol. Just really want a GTO but want to know what im getting into, thanks in advance for any pointers.

Any Silver Streak owners in here?

I'm looking for a gas tank for a 39 Silver Streak and apparently there's no such animal anymore. This one comes out the driver's side behind the tire. I read a post elsewhere about someone using a 39 Chevy tank, but the ones I've seen are totally different.

05 Pontiac vibe speakers

I wanna get monsoon OEM speakers for my car. The left one died so I replaced it with a Sony from Walmart that has a third of the proformance. What are some speakers I can throw in there that are either monsoon OEM quality or better?

Was the Pontiac GTO Really Every Teenager’s Dream Car in the ’60s?

The Pontiac GTO was the muscle car - big V8, killer looks, and pure street cred. Everyone talks like it was every teen’s ultimate dream ride, but was it really? Or did you have your sights set on something else, like a Mustang or Camaro? Drop your pick in the comments below

Got this from my great grandfather who passed away. I also have one for Hemi & Ford along with a bunch of truckin' magazines and others.

Let me know if you'd like to see the contents inside.

Assistance... Anyone?

I bought a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am last year (a project car of the person I bought it from), it was a spur of the moment kind of thing and I spent 3,500, but I absolutely love it.

I do not have the kind of income needed to restore it (as much as id love to) in any timely manner, and while I don't mind spending the time and money to do so, I was wondering if there is any info I could get about assistance regarding finding parts of even financial assistance in doing so.

Looking to buy me a reliable Pontiac!

I'm in the market for a Pontiac. I love the design of their cars. I hear a lot of them aren't reliable but I really want one! They're pretty inexpensive too, any recommendations?

2 Years of Ownership and 10,000 Miles Later

This 2002 Bonneville that I purchased sight unseen from a buy-here-pay-here lot has made it to 120k. I know, that's not a lot of miles, but I am still proud of how far this car has come. When I bought it, I had to spend SO MUCH MONEY trying to get it right. However, once I spent all that money... It finally paid off. I haven't had any repairs done to this car since 2023!

Now, I do have a check engine light. But it's because the engine has issues warming up in the winter time. I live in a Southern state so that isn't too much of an issue right now, but I do plan on getting the thermostat replaced once it warms up. Otherwise car runs great, it's clean, no rust.

Cheers to hoping for many more years of this amazing car!
