I've got a 428 big block that hasn't ran in 25+ years. I want to prime the oil system before turning it over. Will a SBC distributor fit in this 428 or are they different? I can get my hands on a junk 350 distributor i can cut up and make into a oil pump drive for a drill. Just curious if this will work.
Helping a buddy with his Fiero he just bought and was wondering what part this was. Photo is of front suspension from the internet.
wash and waxed her
So I'm throwing myself on the mercy of REDDIT and praying in the name of whatever God is controlling pontiac community algorithm. I'm in search of a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix STE non turbo, but I'm not that picky. I had a this car and it was totalled and I'd really like to get another one to store and drive in the summers. Please respond with any info or help you can throw my way.. thanks to everyone who reads and responds.
So I have a question and I’m wondering has anyone else ever thought about this . Have you ever wondered where your baby is now after letting her go
Anyone know any aftermarket mods for this car? Any leads would be appreciated.
Mainly looking for some decent coilovers.
Any info on a RWD swap would be great as well.
Thanks
I miss my car so much. Silver GXP 2007, bought it new with like 15 miles that I put on it. Anyone remember that it had a hidden “stealth” mode if you pushed the center console dial and all the interior lights would black out? Pontiac was 🔥 My friend has a gtp coupe in HS, god bless his soul.
(Because I'm on mobile trying to do anything is a pain, you will have to see the pic in my first post on r/classiccars)
It currently looks different that what the picture is, but that's because I never thought about taking ant pictures of it, too busy overthinking everything.
it was an impulse buy, it was obviously a former project car, but the guy sold it to me for 3500 and it has a damn near new engine (not the original one for a 1978.) The main issue is that I know fuck all about cars nor the money to properly restore it, straight up just bought the car because I love the shape of the 1970s bodies of cars. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to cars in almost every way, like what to pay attention to, what needs to be removed/changed, or where the hell to get the parts for it.
I have no clue what I got myself into. (I'll see about posting an up-to-date picture soon)
One of my brake lights is out, and I'm finding conflicting information on Google about it.
Can I just replace the bulb, or is this one of those where I have to replace the entire housing?
If it's just the bulb, any idea of the part number so I can order from Amazon?
My name is Devon Xavier Beck, Founder of Pontiac Motor company. Long story short. I’ve been enamored with the brand since I got my first Grand Prix in 2010. I was 18 years old and couldn’t impact the world how I can today at 33. I love the history of the brand,
How John Z. Delorean made the GTO and used Pontiac to teach underprivileged kids in Detroit neighbor hoods. Read his book “on a clear day you can see General Motors” great read.
How Bill Mitchell the lead designer for most of “old GM” history, for his last car designed a Pontiac Phantom - like a bat mobile or something.
How the Oakland brand which became Old Pontiac always had a seat right above Chevrolet.
How in terms of GM sales Pontiac was the youngest and still outsold Cadillac, Oldsmobile, hummer, Saturn, and GMC.
Slotted 3rd behind Chevy and Buick. One of the few brands that had an entire American City named after it. So much that the loop on Woodward in downtown Pontiac became widetrack lane.
So let’s do a deep dive into this iconic brand and learn a valuable lesson as to why the federal government should Never influence Private industry.
Stay tuned - DXB
Picked up a 2006 GTO 6-speed that has just under 200 miles on it. Still has the window sticker and tags on it. Any idea what this might be worth? Thanks for your help.
why is my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix temperature gauge not working properly and not rising in the winter?
Received these led Mav Man low beam Bulbs for the G8 but have no idea how to put them in, search all over YouTube and no clue since there are no videos on how to put them in, if you have put these in your g8 please pm me thank you.
My 1998 pontiac grand prix gtp has a lil problem. Just about everytime the fuel light comes on and the dash says low range on the trip thing my car beeps and flashes the lights in the cabin, at the the same time it cuts power to my radio and disconnects my blutooth. It also happens about every other time i open my door. Itll flash the lights and beep and usually on the third beep it turns my radio off and back on. The car is new to me and has an aftermarket radio so idk if its wired wrong or what but any insight would help. If it matter its the 40th annual datona 500 edition.
So i recently bought a 2007 Pontiac g6 and the top circled one is where the fuses for the audio amp should go but when i try to add a fuse it doesn't want to latch on is it maybe the fuse box is messed up or something?
What up doe, I’m the Founder and CEO of Pontiac Motor Company.

now you may ask yourself “doesn’t GM own the brand?” Well technically kind of, current trademark registrations for Pontiac have expired regarding automobiles, additionally the original “pontiac” was a business division of GM, not a subsidiary or partnership. Pontiac buggy company merged with Oakland in 1926.
It’s patently unamerican to “hold” a trademark because the feds forced you to sell a beloved American brand.
Also in 2009 “old GM” retained the majority of Pontiacs “worthless” assets including trademarks, factories, etc etc, these were either not renewed with “Old GM” or “New GM” bought the few marks they could because the production capacity for Pontiacs was considered “worthless”, “contaminated”
I was able to register the Pontiac Motor Company with the state of MI and now exists as separate entity. Here’s where I need the support of you all. Anything is possible, I envision Pontiac Motor Company manufacturing an affordable sporty line of sedans and coupes with one crossover - The Pontiac “Aztech”
I’ve started a petition to garner further support and attention, my hope is that you all take 5 mins to sign, even better with a comment about a life story!
I know this sounds crazy, but what’s the risk? Every time you see a Pontiac you’ll be able to say, “I helped bring this back and make the world a more exciting place”
God bless you all and let’s do this! - DXB
