Hey guys,
I thought maybe there are some german Studio Ponoc fans among you who would like to have a look at my new blog.
It's called Die Stube Ghibli and as you can easily tell from the title, it's about Studio Ghibli, but also about Studio Ponoc. I plan to write reviews about the movies and the studios themselves in the coming weeks and months, but also try to find other interesting topics/projects that you usually read less about on similar sites!
Feedback and constructive criticism is always welcome! :)
And this isn't just an "assistant studio" thing. Studio Khara is listed as part of the Mary and the Witch's Flower Production Committee which owns the rights to the film.
It's been close to three years now since they made Modest Heroes, and it doesn't even look like they've announced any new productions. Is the studio okay? What are they even doing?
It looks like it has a lot of potential. this could be a disability allegory. and this could also stand out in that there's a new genre of music. i personally thought of a side character, a russian who is a know it all and is related to her powers, she can learn anything instantly. and that's how she knows japanese.
Get the deal while you can.
Amazon has it for $4.99 as well if you don't like the Apple ecosystem.
I'm curious as to what would happen if Peters transformation was successful?
Do we know when it will be able to be watched digitally or on blu ray
I thought I’d create a quick discussion thread, for anyone to dump their thoughts after seeing it in theaters today.
Here's a Studio Ghibli-esque animation where I did music and sound design https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkH5lsHsLkE&t=0s&list=PL5bhyiulppMUJlKcXCsBS3aPwCE8O2Ua4&index=2
I know this much; the students at Endor are part of a magical hidden world, in which trespassers are not allowed. It was not clear what Mary's grandmother was, if she was human, or a witch who went to the academy. It did seem like she only had limited power due to the flybynight, so I would have to guess she was human like Mary. I want to know how Endor students get their magical power, if they are born with it, or if they have to "recharge" like everyone else.
