I've been trying out the weekly challenge. Great addition btw, it helps quensh my Polytopia craving while waiting for my multillayer games.

But I noticed that every single top scorers always win by rushing to diplomacy, accumulate stars, then betray AI at the end to finish.

I'm ok trying that strategy, but is that going to be the the thing to do for every weekly challenge? Can"t we have a challenge winnable by other strategies?

I don’t mean the player causing damage. That can easily be abused (like before the latest update I believe?). I mean the AI, who is on the path to being friendly with me bombs or giants the bad guys next to me and BANG I’m suddenly at war and they now suddenly think I stink.

Is this intended? It just seems to muddy the diplomatic waters. Makes it a little harder VS another human player that might understand.

My problem is what the title says, all of the skins I bought are now locked again even though I am still signed into my Google play account. Has anyone ever encountered this issue, and how would you go about solving it. Does polytopia have a customer service email?

I searched through my own previous post and top QoL posts to aggregate.

These are mostly Multi-player oriented, and there are no Tribe/Balance changes included.

I believe it would be worth $5, but open to pricing, even 7-10 of these would be great

Mostly In Order of Demand:

1. Pick Color pref for each tribe/skin, and perhaps top 3 order of color preference.
2. Kick from MP lobbies Vote Kick
3. Report Players
4. Disable older versions in lobbies
5. Browsable multiplayer lobbies list
6. Customize pop ups/notifications in match
7. Full Alliance as win condition in MP matches
8. Turn off certain animations
9. Set default/timeout choices for pop up choices
10. In game emojis/pre-made chat, location or unit flags
11. More single player challenges
12. Limited number of pause for live games
13. Additional UI scale/zoom options
14. Map sandbox

Has this issue been discussed by the developers? Does this affect also countries with GDPR regulations? Do I have to uninstall?

Honestly, nothing is more annoying than having a finger slip and accidentally moving a unit to the wrong place, or building a building in the wrong place. An undo action button would allow all players to undo only their previous move, but only that (so if you make 2 moves, you are only ever able to undo the last move you made). This would just be a really nice qol change that allows misclicks to not be as punishing.

To stop this being abused for vision (eg getting an explorer and undoing it) a mechanic could be introduced where if your move revealed any fog tiles, you are not able to undo it. This would make sure the undo can't be abused - and funny mind bender plays could still work if the opponent hasn't gotten enough vision :)

Sorry to be dramatic but i recently switched from Android to Apple and cant figure out how to use my android game id sign in versus Apple ID Game center. I had so many skins that I don't want to pay for again!

Archipelago is my favorite map to play and Polaris is almost impossible to beat on it. I normally play kickoo or imperius and there is simply no way to beat polaris. There are a few strats with riders or archers where if you anticipate playing polaris you stand a chance. But those strats kill your odds against any other tribe. A few times I have found Polaris on turn 2 on a 196 map with 2 players. I just quit when that happens because you cant play the game when your 2 warriors are both frozen. I have no issues with any other special tribe but I feel like they all have advantages on certain maps that make them fun to play but a ranking system needs to be exclusively about skill and not which tribe you pick.

Have a Samsung Im just getting to know and I downloaded Polytopia and cant find the file to make a shortcut for the homescreen. I can only find it in google play or samsung games. Itas downloaded but it says nothing is in the downloaded file.

I've only been playing for a couple of months. I bought Kickoo early on, so I could dabble in multiplayer. Along with the other newbies, I've been losing badly to Cymanti, Polaris, Elyrian, and other tribes with unfamiliar units. I'm planning to buy all the tribes that are giving me trouble so that I can play against their bots and learn about them by playing them myself. I'd like to buy about 1 per month. Come sell me on your favorite tribe. I need pros and cons, strength and weaknesses. I'm ready to blow a couple more dollars, and can't decide which where to head in?
