I’ve gone through many pasta machines over the years and they always end up with this problem. My dad and i tried to disassemble one before but it didn’t fix the problem. What causes this? I know that polymer clay is much harder than pasta, and maybe these machines aren’t build for something like this. Is it beyond repair? I really need it this week and I hope i don’t need to buy a new one
Hi All! Here is my Strawberry Vanilla Rilakkuma character cake miniature charm. I like this one so much! Check this out for all my recent interesting charms - Recent Charm Update Feat. Studio Ghibli, Bomb Pop. I am planning to share the Polymer Clay 101 video for beginners regarding tools and clays required to start fresh next. Please, share your feedback and Let me know what tutorial should I share next. Thanks!
This keeps happening every time I bake my clay, I put it on wax paper and it stuck to that too for some reason. I put it in for like 30 minutes on 275. It still isn’t fully cured so I don’t know what to do with it
So I’m totally new to this and have my first set of polymer clay on its way. As I’m looking more into this I keep hearing about liquid clay. I don’t plan on making anything too fancy yet, but do I need it? When and what do you use it for anyways? Can I stick different parts of clay together without it? Any advice would help!
mixing all the shades of green i needed took like twice as long as the actual sculpting did
Unicorn doing the Dab dance
That’s all really just wanted to show him
Hello!
I want to sculpt some planters. They'd be on the large side, like 8-10" wide and tall. Is this too big for polymer clay?
Thanks =]
Edit, cuz I realized I should be more specific. I'm looking for advice about larger scale work. I've done some small stuff with polymer clay before and wanted to know if there are things I need to keep on mind when working larger. Like, Should I build the piece around a base, like a coffee container?
Hi. I picked up a variety pack of sculpey three yesterday. I loved using polymer clay as a kid and picked some up thinking it be something to do after my 9-5. After reading more I’ve noticed a lot of post staying to stay away from it.
Would it be best to just return it and purchase something else or would you say for making things like magnets etc that it’s a fine starter? Thanks for you help here!!
Made these for a friend
So this is all tedious to me I really need to know how to smooth and blend this piece
Does anyone know if it’s safe to use polymer clay to make water stations for insects and birds? Or if there are any sealants that could make it a safe option?
I’m concerned polymer clay could be hard to clean properly (we have some bad bird diseases here in Australia), and might leach some harmful chemicals into the water…
I also have air-dry clay as an option, but prefer polymer!
