Do you ever see a comment on political reddit that is SO bad you think that we are living in an online horror story?

This subreddit is for that.

Rules:

1) Abide by reddit's terms of service found here:

https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement

2) Abide by reddit's content policy found here:

https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy

3) Do not post links to content that you participated in directly. Doing so is considered incitement to brigade and you will receive a ban.

4) Do not follow links and participate in linked content where it appears. Doing so is brigading and you will receive a ban.

5) Do not userping people in a hostile manner from outside the thread or subreddit. Reddit considers this harassment.

6) Try to be somewhat civil. Do not dehumanize people. Don't engage in identitarian hate. Discussion of issues is fine. Hate directed at groups in general based on immutable characteristics is not.

7) Please link directly to the content being highlighted and post a quote from the comment in the title, plus the score that the comment received or [SH] for "score hidden." Sometimes a submission itself is notable, so describe the content within, but please do not submit something and say, "See this entire comment section".

8) Don't link to entire subreddits. Please spotlight the specific bad commentary or submit a text post that contains links to the bad commentary if there are more than two examples within the thread. Advocacy of violence is always notable content.

9) All posts here should be from within the reddit community. Screenshots are allowed IF there's no other means available to highlight the horror. Please message the mods if you wish to post a screenshot.

10) Please direct meta complaints about the subreddit or the moderators to the modmail.

FTW the antifas don't have common sense so they have to have a thread on common sense when it's cold.

Ya... The only reason I say Shapiro is approachable is because he's like the gateway drug of altrightism. He's college educated, he dresses nice, he loves to talk about how smart he thinks he is ... [+11] FTAR

It's bizarre. I come from a solid blue state. The second you leave city limits, it's the land of Rebel/TDW/Trump flags in crappy, ill-maintained sheds, the occasional Islamophobia. It's crazy how divided modern America is. [+113] antifa sub

I'm so sick of people saying "cancel culture" as if societies haven't always shunned their toxic elements. I get that with social media things can get out of control before the whole story is told but that is not as common as it seems...[+96] FTAR

Ridiculous. The “antifa threat” was imaginary rightwing dog whistling horseshit designed by the Trump administration to justify bringing out the storm troopers against peaceful protests (and distract from an actual right wing threat). [+10] antifa sub

Fox news needs to be dismantled. The path they are putting the death cult on only ends in repeated attempts at genocide. [+8] FTAR

Yep! I’m a little upset that for all the talk of unity, I don’t hear anyone in power (right OR left) talking about doing some hing in terms of punishing fox or other huge media sources for intentionally spreading the misinformation...Seems like it should be priority number one! [+21]

If you think I give a damn one way or the other or believe the Constitution is sacrosanct, you’re gonna be surprised. But if we can use non-native born citizens rule to avoid the nightmare that would be a Ted Cruz presidency, I’m all for that. - FTAR

This always makes me roll my eyes, fascism was modeled after American social and economic policies. Fascism isn't coming to America; it originated here and has always been here. [+6] antifa sub

I remember in 2016 saying, "Did we basically just elect Hitler?" I was told not to be dramatic, after that I thought maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt... Welp low and behold. Instinct proves right. [+8] FTAR

His idiocy and only hiring sycophants with no experience did save us in the end. However, it is very much distressing that a man with no political intelligence or principles brought our democracy to the brink of destruction. [+55] FTAR

...I've been saying this for a while, but I want a Nuremberg-level tribunal for this that also ropes in the interns at Fox News. The "I was just doing my job" is not an excuse. They aided and abetted the deliberate spread of misinformation about a deadly pandemic. [+15] - FTAR

Well to be honest this sounds like a great scenario. No trump, no nra, no conservatives and no nuts who think they are constitutionalists. But sorry you have to see your mom doing this. I cut off my dad years ago for not voting in the clinton/trump election, which wasn't even this bad.

r/Conservative disseminates the insanely dangerous rumor that Trump has invoked the Insurrection Act - (Ah yes... a person subbing something that got ZERO upvotes is certainly this...and makes r/conservative a "violent political movement") Never change againsthatesubreddits, never change
