I just thrifted a Polaroid 600 one step and I was wondering if there is any other brand that might produce the film for it but cheaper?? It cost like $30 for 16 and that’s crazy.
Shot with my Polaroid 660AF.
hello! i've just received an older Polaroid One Step from a friend as a gift and was wanting to start using it. i got some film for it but am wondering if either i got the wrong film (I-Type) or if something is wrong with my film tray. when i try to put the film in it doesn't go past the little metal bits at the bottom of the tray. included some photos as well for better reference. thank you!
edit: question resolved! i got the wrong film ^__^'
I recently picked up this Polaroid One from a thrift shop for around 15$. It’s been kept in really good condition, however, the only thing thats really holding it back is that it wont eject pictures.
I’ve got it to eject SOME pictures, but when you put in a new cartridge only the dark slide comes out. I’m sure this could be pickarm related as a quick google search shows but I just want to know if anyone else has any other ideas and experiences with this camera.
Any ideas on what I could do?
I got an old pack of film and removed the old battery and spring, after that i added a AAA battery terminal (holds 4 batteries) and connected it to some aluminum which i glued to where the battery connects to the cameras terminal (same way you would do with any other battery tester). I also tried it with 2 button batteries (3v each).
In my case the camera wasn't functional, so is there any other way i could test it?
Hey hey, just found this polaroid on a Fleamarket(in Germany) for only 10€. I was already happy that it seemed to work, but then got really happy that it works with the regular instax mini film.
Anyway, just thought would be a good thing to share as my first post here! 🎞️
I just recently got a polaroid and have had it for around a month now. And I’ve seen ppl freezing their spare film or storing it simply in a shoe box. What would be some of the major do’s and don’t s when it comes to storing and using film?
Also what happens to a photo when it develops in the light?
Sorry if this isn't allowed but Google didn't help and it's the weekend so no support to ask.
I'm trying to buy the Polaroid Now Gen 2 Travel Bundle/Pack and I registered an account for the new member discount, but for some reason it won't apply the discount? it just says that the discount code ''isn't available to you right now''.
Anyone know what could be causing this, and how to fix it?
What model is beginner friendly? Ahoi mates, inspired by the game Life is Strange i started looking into Polaroid cameras. As I'm a beginner regarding Photography I came here to ask what's a good model to start with? I plan to do the classic one click one shot type of photography. So hopefully nothing too complicated for a beginner who has no proper knowledge about photography. Thank you in advance.
