Hello i'm currently working on a generation 1 Rom hack where all 151 Mons are available plus their cross gen evolutions(+ Melatan and Melmetal) as well as the dark, steel and fairy types as well as reworked moves
and while adding the new mons in i decided to see how many Pokemon where in Each Type and originally i was going to keep all the typings of the original mons but now seeing how unbalanced the type distribution and decided i was going to retype some mons in order to balance the amount of mons in each type.
the type distribution in question with all cross gen evos added
29 Normal Types
11 Fighting Types
20 Flying Types
34 Poison Types
16 Ground Types
13 Rock Types
14 Bug Types
4 Ghost Types
7 Steel Types
14 Fire Types
35 Water Types
17 Grass Types
13 Electric Types
18 Psychic Types
7 Ice Types
4 Dragon Types
1 Dark Type
9 Fairy Types
Now that i presented the issue with the distribution in types i want some suggestions for some type changes that will most balance out the distribution. (make sure the typing makes sense thematically of course even if its a stretch i still might allow it)
I’m not the craziest pokemon fan, at least growing up I wasn’t. I did REALLY like pokemon leaf green as a kid but I never got or played any of the other pokemon games (besides mystery dungeon and a tiny bit of emerald from a friend) and still haven’t today. I honestly don’t even remember beating the elite four when I was a kid, I remember always stopping at the three legendary birds and restarting.
I have no clue what caused it but I’m now weirdly into pokemon again, even to the point where I watch the show while I play when I have free time. I learned about emulating a few years ago and only used it to play leaf green along with some other old Gameboy games. Only recently have I learned that rom hacks can be played the same way, so naturally I got curious and wanted to try some. I wanted something familiar so I tried one called Radical Red, it takes place in the same region and doesn’t go off the beaten story (to my knowledge).
The difficulty is proving to be pretty fierce for me since I don’t even know most of these pokemon, their moves, I didn’t even know abilities existed until recently.
Despite the difficulty, I made my way through the game and I’m currently on the Silph Co Giovanni boss fight and it’s proving rather challenging. I don’t especially want to look up what the perfectly optimized team to beat him is since that’ll just ruin all the fun entirely. I have however looked up things such as Good Pokemon and Good Megas (his kanghaskan is supposedly S tier, I see that now).
I really want to try getting into more romhacks and even try a nuzlocke since those always look cool on videos, however I don’t want to just do multiple playthroughs at the same time.
My question: is radical red too difficult for me as I am now? I’ve gotten to silph co which is basically half way through the game, but I feel immensely challenged and know it’ll only get harder as I progress (the first Giovanni fight took me an entire day, the silph co fight is going onto day 3 now) should I wait to do difficulty hacks when I learn more about Pokemon in general, or am I making a good pace?

Wanna add real gambling games in the casino in the future, so far I've seen only Ghoulslash'es Voyager have a proper blackjack in the game corner. I want to learn how to do that, any suggestions or direction from anyone who knows how to do such a thing?
Hi, it's me, the Pink Emerald guy.
I'm gonna preface this with No, I'm NOT cancelling the game again. Pink Emerald WILL be a reality. I'm just clarifying that right now because, well, I've had some issues regarding advancing the game. Not out of technical issues (YET), but out of time.
Thing is, I have been barely been able to advance the project due lack of time and energy, as I've a full-time job and when I have free time, I usually am lacking the motivation to pick the project (Not helped that I've had lots of things to do lately even outside work, so I'm kinda tired most of the time).
Not helped that, after some issues with HexManiac (Or more specificallly, not finding a rombase that didn't had... curious changes I wasn't happy with, I decided to move back to Pokeemerald. I find it less imposing as before by pulling the same trick I did with HM of overwritting Pokémon I wasn't going to use, but that also means more work in a less friendly fashion.
So, I wanted to ask: It would be "too much" to ask someone to join the project to help me? I feel it woulnd't be right to basically ask "Hey can you do all the programming part for me? I'll tell you exactly what I want!", even though I could take care of the new content graphics, so I just want to be sure what do you guys think.
In the case it is indeed too much to ask someone to do all that for me, I would NOT cancel PE, it just would take a lot longer because I would have to find the time to advance it.
EDIT: Oh, I nearly forgot: The reason I feel I would be asking too much is because, outside expanding the Hoenn Pokédex with new Pokémon and improve the trainers' teams, I also want to do things like new events for existing legendaries as well as new post-game bosses.
