Hello blue team.

I'm on the lookout for any fellow followers of the mountain reaper in the Willamette valley. I was blue team during the beta, and maintained control of 30+ gyms throughout, in spite of blue being the least popular team (people sure do love their charmanders eh?)

However, I think the boring landscape of blue may have converted some bluesters to red and yellow. And with the full release they seem to really be outnumbering us. I've seen 2 other blue trainers.

I have several pokemon over 1k, and very few under 500cp. But even still I'm struggling to hold gyms on my own. The 1hp glitch is back with a vengeance for me. And several times now I've irl witnessed a gang of 3 or more reds tag teaming my gyms in the middle of the night, while I can do nothing about it because of server errors or other connection related glitches. (i've lost 7 gyms in th3 last 5 hours.)

I need your help!

It seems like blue team in this area is not interested in supporting gyms, or training gyms, only claiming their own.

Help me flood the emerald valley in a river of blue, guys! I can take gyms all day, but no one can hold them alone!

Remember to place complementary types. If a gym is held by a fire type, put a grass type in with it. If it's held by a water, put a fire. And don't forget to train them up.

I hope those of you who had a holiday weekend had a great one and those of you who didn't have a holiday weekend had a great start to the week so far!

For those of you who've been keeping up with the sub, we've had a lot of construction dust lately, and it's finally starting to clear! The mod team along with the Discord and Team Blue leadership teams have been working together (yay!) and working hard to get us organized and prepared for launch.

In the last couple of weeks, we've expanded the /r/PokemonGoBlue and Discord mod teams and the growth here and in Discord has been insane in the best way possible!

When I say we've been working hard, though, this is no exaggeration. The moderation teams for Team Blue have been putting in many, many hours, working around our normal schedules in order to make sure that we breathe life back into this subreddit and get to rallying the community and building team morale and spirit for Team Blue. You can see evidence of this in the way that the face of the subreddit is changing. There has been some real progress and we've got people working around the clock for now to make sure that we take full advantage of the momentum we have.

So from us to you, THANK YOU for your patience and support as we get everything up and running. THANK YOU for being a part of the Team Blue community, whether you're one of us or just visiting from another team! THANK YOU for sticking with us through the painstaking wait for launch and for getting hype with us as it gets closer. And most of all, THANK YOU for helping us to make sure that this community will be the best it can be for all of us going forward.

As the launch of the game nears, we're looking forward to working with you, playing GO like our lives depend on it, catching all the Pokémon, exploring the world with you, and getting in some friendly competition with /r/PokemonGoRed and /r/PokemonGoYellow.
