Hey everyone! I’m gearing up to take on the Elite Four in Pokémon Emerald and would love some advice on building a team. I’m looking for a balance of strength, type coverage, and maybe a bit of nostalgia if it fits! Here’s what I’m considering and my current lineup, but I’m open to suggestions!

All of these Pokémon in the box are at least level 45

I've been doing my first playthrough of emerald, and I initially wanted to build a team of mons I genuinely just thought were cool. I just beat the fifth gym leader, and I'm debating whether or not I want to switch my team.

My current team (after future evolutions) would be Sceptile, Gardevoir, Shedinja, Slaking, Gyarados, and Flygon.

The other option is Sceptile, Gardevoir, Magneton, Sharpedo, Armaldo, Skarmory.

My current team is kind of unique, and I enjoy trying to figure out how to make it work, even though its far from optimal. I'm just concerned the rest of the game will be exhausting to get through since my current mons will struggle to handle the rest of the major battles.

Finally, caught it with the Gulpin and Old Rod method.

Caught this while hunting for a specific nature one. Doing a play through where I use Pokémon I’ve never used before, ALTARIA being one of them and this will look beautiful so, why not right?

Even after awakening raquayza and ending the Groudon and Kyogre feud the gym is still locked. How do I progress?

Anyone can help me setup a team for Elite 4 in emerald?

• Difficulty Hack, Elite 4 have good movesets and perfect EV IV Spreads
• I have access to all Gens 1-3 (no Legendaries)
• Moveset Recommendations are also good 🥰

Wondering if it’s interesting to get a second copy of the game? I mean transfer wise or something, is there a point?

How do I go about this in the most efficient way?

Essentially, I'm doing a challenge run of Pokemon Emerald, where I can only use Pokemon with base stat totals of under 500, evolution or not. So I wanted to know of any good Pokemon who happen to meet that criteria.

So what "weak" Pokemon should I catch first and use for the rest of the game? I would genuinely like to know your thoughts.

Anyone had the issue after using cheats on Delta where you can’t use items in battle any more? There’s no option to use, only “cancel”

Anyone know how to fix that?

I want to use my camerupt for the battle frontier but im unsure of which stats to prioritize when ev training.

Hi guys, Even at 53 I'm a complete newbie to pokemon with emerald being the first one I've ever played. I'm using an emulator on my phone. I've altered the rom on my laptop so I can obtain the evolved pokemon that were trade only before doing so, and it's working great with my .sav file . I've already got a Machamp with it but before I go for a Golem I thought I'd get myself an Alakazam. Two questions though at what level will Kadabra evolve so I know when to expect it, (Machamp caught me off gaurd) and Abra if you prevented it from evolving at all, would it never ever ever learn anything else besides Teleport which it already has??? Like never no matter what lol

By the way these pokemon aren't necessarily for my team or anything. I'm in no hurry to complete the game. I just like collecting them and training them, experimenting with different nature's and raising specific stats by fighting against certain types etc. Oh and With a Macho Brace and the Pkrs virus which I make sure I always have at least 10 with it available in storage that I use to give it to others.

My search and catch team is made up of 25 Ralts named 0 Hardly, 1 Lonely, 3 Brave right up to 24 Quirky. They do the finding. And depending what it is either A Breloom which I didn't evolve until it had leaned Spore or a lvl 40 (just so it doesn't get KOed instantly) Nincada with False Swipe They do the catching.
