Note: Because these Pokémon are hacked, they will not be eligible to be traded on r/pokemontrades! If you are caught using this subreddit to scam people there, you will be permanently banned. Using our subreddit to profit on /r/PokemonExchange will result in the same consequence as well. You have been warned.

 

Because we don't accept direct trades, mythical Pokémon are unable to be requested. Your post will be auto-removed.

 

This subreddit will temporarily close when it reaches 2 pages of unfinished requests.

What is a "file helper?"

A file helper provides PKHeX files to requests which will allow genners to gen Pokémon more efficiently. Anyone can be a file helper as long as they have PKHeX--no custom firmware or Homebrew needed.

What is a "genner?"

A genner takes full control of the requests. They are the ones who take the provided PKHeX file (if present) and use it to gen the Pokémon. If there is no file present, the genner will gen the Pokémon from scratch.

After the genning process is complete, the genner will send the genned Pokémon to the user through the global trade system.

The process of hacking in a Pokémon (legally) into a Pokémon game is called "genning."

    Subreddit is going on Hiatus

    Hello everyone,

    We've decided to put the subreddit on a hiatus, and only starting it back up when enough people are willing, and able to support it. To have this subreddit be healthy and functionable, it's ideal to have a wide array of people assisting, and due to gen 7 being fairly outdated, and lack of people volunteering, we've decided this is the best move for now.

    #When will you open back up?

    Answered above, that will be when we get a fresh cast of genners, willing to give to the community. If you want to help the subreddit out, then please reach out to us through modmail! If you have a 3DS, and want to help with Gen 7, we are willing to help everyone with hacking their console, and setting everything necessary so you can get right into genning.

    #What about genning for Gen 8?

    We'd love to! However, only limited (usually earlier) switch consoles can run CFW (to save the explanation, it's essentially what you need to be a genner), which means not everyone is available to gen for that.

    That being said if you can gen for the switch and would like to help us get a crew of people to start up a gen 8 service, please contact us, either through modmail, or through our Discord server!.

    ###The biggest takeaway from this is that we need more people to function. So this post mainly functions as a call to those people.
