From talking to people who have lived in Plymouth for many years, people have said they town has grown considerably over the past 10 years.
Do you think this trend will continue and in the next day 50-100 years Plymouth will become more of a city? More developed larger population etc
Was headed to my parents house and saw that the town had police and triaxles parked at the roads into downtown. Was wondering if the town always does this or it’s not usually done and something happened.
Edit: Solved, Ino_suke went and grabbed it for me. What an amazing person, happy holidays everyone!

I was just in Plymouth doing a Thanksgiving thing and had to fill my tires up with air before leaving. It was pouring rain and I had my umbrella and I just realized I left it there. Would someone be a hero and go grab it and I'll come pick it up sometime soon? It's a giant and beautifully hand-painted sunflower umbrella that has a lot of sentimental value to me.
It's by the air pump at Speedway gas station, 105 Samoset Road, just by the entrance to Route 3.
If anyone helps me you'll be a hero forever <3 :-)
Anybody know what’s being built or going to become of the giant dirt mound next to 391 Court St in North Plymouth, just past Cordage Park? Just curious if anyone is privy?
I keep seeing these on Zillow and wonder why they’re priced relatively cheap? Is something wrong with them, like crime or are they run down?
I’m looking for advice on finding someone to help keep my mom company a few days a week in her apartment. She’s getting older, and while she doesn’t need intensive care, I’d feel better if she had someone around for a few hours here and there. I’m new to this and wondering if it’s better to look at agencies or if hiring someone directly would be okay. Any tips?
as a major in colonial history, I’ve always have had a fascination about the Plymouth rock since I was a kid. it's been split, moved, and had pieces chipped away by souvenir hunters, the whole history behind it is just awe inspiring.
What are the best parks for kids near downtown Plymouth?
Where is a good place to watch the returns tonight?
Looking for clubs/groups to join for my mom. She’s still in Plymouth and in her late 50’s and was hoping to get out and socialize some more. She’d love to find out more about regular local meetups and things to do. I figured I’d try posting on here to see if anyone knows of anything for people in her age range. She is not a big drinker and my dad is sober so the bar scene is not really her thing.
What happened today in downtown?
Needs to be a female, under 40.. last therapist was in that description and they understood me 10x better
Running classes or hiit like Barry’s or orange theory, except I’d prefer not OT
Thank you !
Black cat. Super cute. Found near Long Pond Rd.
Hi all! My friend and I are college students in Boston. Unfortunately we aren't able to go back home for Thanksgiving break. However, to make up for not going home we wanted to plan out some fun activities to do during that time. Since we're both from the west coast we thought it would be fun to take a one day trip out to Plymouth especially because of the holiday and historical significance of the city lol. Do you have any recommendations on what to do/explore in the area aside from seeing the rock and Mayflower replica? And also would you recommend visiting exactly on Thanksgiving day, or the day before/after?
much love and thanks in advance <3
Currently interviewing for a job in Plymouth and curious about the area. What are pros and cons? What is average rent for one room around Plymouth and falmouth?
Disgusting. the teacher should be imprisoned and the owners should be barred from running childcare centers.
I’m planning to go to Plymouth this weekend for a night out and was wondering if y’all had any tips for bars that mostly young people go to!
Does anyone know if there are any free/affordable drop-off spots for composting food waste in town or nearby? Maybe like at a farm or something.
If anyone knows of anything please let me know !
Hey, recently moved to Plymouth. Is there any group who plays outdoor/indoor soccer? Would appreciate any information!
Hi all! I just moved back to Plymouth (I grew up here) after 4 years.
I’ve most recently lived in Boston and there was lots to do up there, obviously.
One of my favorite things to do in Boston was to go to a Swing Dance class that had a free dance afterwards that ran late.
Is there anything like that in or around Plymouth?
This might sound silly but, what do y’all do for fun??
If you know anybody that keeps livestock in Plymouth (including chickens) the board of health is working on passing extremely restrictive regulations. Anyone who cares about being able to grow your own food might want to keep an eye out and/or email the board. Nothing official has been released yet but I’ve heard from members of other boards that it is coming.
Hello all!
I'm really excited to meet D&D people in the area, as I'm a bit new to Plymouth. I've been DMing for about 15 years now, and I love creating awesome stories with my players who are motivated to play and who are reliable to join and eventually do a whole campaign. I'm looking for 4 to 5 people or so.
My DMing style is somewhat similar to Matt Mercer in spirit, I love doing silly voices and making each other laugh. As a DM, I live for players having in-character scenes and dialogue and making creative character decisions. Not a fan of power-gaming, rules-lawyering, or meta-gaming in my groups.
This is an 18+ game with a slight preference to people nearish my age - I'm 29! Newer players are welcome to apply, though a little experience might be nice :)
So far, I've had really good experiences with people here on LFG. I haven't had any serious issues with any racism/sexism/homophobia, which I definitely want to keep that way. We'll talk about lines and veils once we get the group together.
I'm super excited to hear from people. Message me on Insta: lukewuzzy or Discord if interested - Luke of Blue Skies#4845
