Got this dress from shein, it's so cute and warm.
Hats are one of my favorite accessories. I honestly feel like it really adds a lot of oomph to a good outfit.
I have been looking everywhere for a good pleated skirt, but I haven’t had any luck. All the skirts I find are not apron belly and/or big butt friendly and if they are, they are crazy expensive. I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for a good pleated skirt that isn’t going to cost a fortune or show off my goodies if I move at all. Thanks in advance!!!
I work as a waitress in a very casual chain. Most servers wear jeans or leggings. I have 3 pairs of the tummy control halara leggings I cycle through literally everytime I work. But I am bored, and want something different but equally comfortable. I kind of hate jeans they just don't feel nice or move well in my opinion. I wish i could just wear sweats but unfortunately we are not THAT casual. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Just know they would have to look good with a black polo.
Howdy, folks! I'm a mid fat around size 20-ish looking for jeans. I usually get the best fit from Shiny by Nature, but I'm looking for a brand that stocks more consistently. My measurements are around 42" in the waist and around 55-56" in the hips...which means my waist and hips are usually two whole sizes apart. Even brands like Abercrombie with curvy-specific sizing don't fit me right. Wanted to see if there were any options for me out there before I accept I will just need to shell out for tailoring at my size. Thanks in advance!
For chilly Fall weather — I have loafers and Chelsea boots but both look silly with socks when I try them with these pants. It’s too cold to wear them without socks. If I do Chelsea boots, there’s a gap of bare skin in between the boot and pant hem, which also looks silly to me. Why can I style these?!
What am I doing wrong?!
I’m looking for opaque tights that don’t feel like they’re cutting me in half and also don’t bag at the ankles because they are too long for my short legs. Can anyone help?
Wearing this but looking for ideas for something to keep my shoulders warm. The material is crepe so I’m concerned with contrasting textures. Any ideas are appreciated :)
I live in the US and ordered pants from Snag Tights new line of tailored pants. They’re gorgeous but not the right fit for me. I’m trying to return them and the process is much harder than I expected. The returns need to be shipped to Scotland and aside from providing the physical address, there’s no guidance on how to do this. I’ve priced out a few carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx and it’s $40+ dollars to ship one pair of pants).
If you’ve successfully done a return, how did you ship your item?
There are also frequent vague statements in the return policy like “we cannot accept collection fees” and I don’t know what that means. I did ask via their customer service and will update here if/when they respond. But hoping to find other US customers who’ve navigated a return successfully.
While I’m at it: if you plan to order from Snag, just be aware that the return policy requires you to ship your item back and pay for it; they don’t provide shipping labels or any kind of guidance on how to ship from the US to Scotland.
I got this dress from Cato the other day and I am using it for a wedding this month. I have black flats that I can wear with it, but I wanted to see if anyone has any other recommendations for the shoe? I don’t want a huge heel but I also feel like the flats I have aren’t as elevated as the dress. Any suggestions/links to shoes is greatly appreciated! (If they’re comfy that’s a huge plus)
Everything but the purse is from torrid. The mesh under the dress is a very cropped long sleeve top. Shoes were not comfy to walk a mile in. But felt fine if I was just walking a little. I ended up with blisters on the bottoms of my feet and realized I need to wear thicker socks
Hi guys, I'm 24, weigh about 70kg/154 lbs, and have a height of about 160cm/5.2 ft. I've literally been wearing ONLY leggings for the past 4 years since COVID started and I gained about 10kg. My daily attire consists of a loose shirt and black leggings, which I find is the best solution for me in order to "hide the belly" but still not have pants that are super baggy since my butt is flat and I have relatively skinny legs.
The problem is that, now, at 24, I really need to change my wardrobe. Before I gained weight, I wore leggings and skinny jeans, nothing else. I gave away the skinny jeans lol. Going out to try to shop for pants is super disheartening to me because I hate how I can rarely find pants that will accommodate for the combination of big stomach, flat ass and skinny legs lol. Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of pants to shop for that come off as flattering and age-appropriate? haha thank you in advance!!
P.S. I live in Asia so stores here definitely offer a smaller range of sizes, which is also why I have not been able to find suitable pants lol
P.S. idk if this info is helpful but I've observed that a lot of girls my age wear the combo of boyfriend jeans/cargo pants + tight top + sneakers. I'd definitely like to dress like that but haven't had luck with pants or tight tops haha
P.P.S. When I interned and had to find office pants, I really struggled because pants that fit my waist would absolutely swamp my behind and legs and were way too long. But I didn't have a choice and would have to buy pants like those for work :")
Seeing my ex for a nice walk and dinner. Thoughts about outfit being a little dressed up but casual. I’ll be wearing some booties with this outfit and a white a bra lol
TIA! 🥰
I'm looking for a plush, absorbent robe. I'm usually 1-2X and want the robe to fit oversized. Any brand recommendations?
I've decided to invest in my first set of shapewear. I'm looking for suggestions on good companies in Canada that offer online shopping. Mainly lower body, not body suits.
One of my biggest concerns is that I will be way too hot!
I also wasn't sure how to shop size wise? For example, I generally wear a 20, 22, or 24 at a store like Torrid...but what would that translate too?
Would love some real life suggestions please!
Boots and shirt are thrifted, skirt is from Halara, purse is poppy lisman, glasses are locs 😎
I have an event coming up where the dress code is dressy casual/casual chic. Fine for men to wear jeans with a button down and a blazer kind of thing.
I really want to wear my ugg Tasman booties as I will be on my feet for the majority of the night. The last time I was at this event, I wore my cowboy boots and a lbd and I had hella blisters the next day from being on my feet all night.
I’d love suggestions on dresses that would coordinate- or like tunics and leggings!
Thanks so much!
I am trying to slowly grow my social media accounts on travel and fashion content to hopefully get a brand collab. I’d love love love if you could go like/engage with my IG post here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DBG6Tm7sF5G/?igsh=dHZ5bmRpb2t6cDgx
