Is it possible to see likes without paying on iPhone ?
Anyone got any little tricks ?
Thank you āŗļø
I spoke to this guy on an app called 3FUN. 3FUN doesnāt allow screen shots so Iām posting our convo here. Only the beginning. I thought you meet always in public for a first date and not in private?
Why did this guy said to āmeet in privateā instead of public? You can get to know each other is public too right? š Plus doesnāt he care about a womanās safety? Nowadays rape victims get 0 justice.
This man is from India so heās English is shit. At first he said heās willing to drive to me.
Me: Aww thatās so sweet but I wouldnāt want you to go through that especially during the rush hour traffic
As a first meet we can just meet at public location .
Him: Instead of meeting in a public place, it is better to meet in a private place so that we can talk to each other openly and understand each other.please Can we talk on WhatsApp???
Me: Ermmm are you serious ? Are you British born
Him: No
Me: How long have you been in the uk
Him: 7
Me: I said are you a trashy Freshy
Him: I donāt know
Me: What Why are you so desperate š Ask your mother to get you married off since your so desperate for sex
Him: Because Iām looking something
Me: So why are you telling me
Him: Did you ask your Dad?
Me: But youāre fucking desperate for sex! Your sooooo desperate Why are you asking me to meet you š¤® Are you crazy
Hi all, Anyone know how to fix an issue when registering? Am on the page where you add your hobbies and interests but it keeps just looping back to the same page and won't move on. Feels like a metaphor for life! Any ideas?
Is this the correct price this is crazy, 29.99 for 7 days to message as many chick's as I want ?? Is it worth paying that lol.. ??
Of all the dating apps I've tried ( and I recently had them all just about) PoF is easily most respectful to a free users time. Here's how I've achieved what limited success I've had. ( 1 failed hookup and 1 person I'm just talking to) To start I'm not looking for anything serious. Mostly conversations open to hookups. And I've only been at it about a week and a half maybe. Here's the tips. 1: take notes. Pay close attention to the profile and if you like it like the profile but write the name down for later. This is the ONLY APP you can find and message people without needing premium even if it is only 1 message a day. Use the "you liked" tab to find them later and message them with your freebie. 2: use your freebie to see when a profile was last active to ensure good chances at a response or a match. If they haven't been on is 6 months it's probably safe to pass on them completely. Save a few likes that way. 3: if they have social media in the profile use it. They put it there so you could shoot your shot. Succeed or fail you don't need premium for insta or snap. Your getting left on read either way. May as well try. 4: Add your own social your comfortable with strangers messaging you. Who knows maybe someone will give you a shot there. Frankly the less we need to rely on these apps the better. These have really helped me feel like I'm not aimlessly swiping your really researching your options and making the best decisions based on them. Don't give up on PoF especially if your doing it free. It's probably your best option
I'm only getting to like 10 , 20 people a day now. It use to be 50.
So I'm starting to realize that this app looks like it's mostly bots and ai, but being for real here, I have NEVER matched with someone on a free profile. The only time that I was able to actually have a conversation with someone is when I paid and was able to send as many of those message requests as I want? Does the "like" system even work? And I get "liked" and never actually get recommended the profile to like back like every other app does? I feel like the free account doesn't even go to any real people?
I noticed that people's pictures look weird, it was giving AI. I especially noticed a glitch 3rd eyelid. Uncanny valley stuff. Then I looked through my own uploaded photos and it did the same thing to mine. I don't use filters. I'm not even on here for dating. Just watching how the 4B movement is affecting the apps.
What happened to POF? You used to be able to message people on the free version look at profiles and the like. Now you can't message with out paying money everytime you go to look at a profile it says this person is looking for something else, which ya cool but when u swipe through 500 ppl looking for something else that makes me think u gotta pay to see their profile now. Damn this app has gone way down hill in just a year. Oh and whatsup with not having a preferred sex ur looking for? Like most sights will ask are u interested men women or in-between whatever but nope not POF so if ur heterosexual u get a bunch of dudes just non stop on ur page and if ur homosexual u get a bunch of the opposite sex this site has to be a scam now.
I noticed a few weeks ago, you can't change the distance on a search. Mine is currently stuck on 100 which is useless for searching. Anyone have an idea how I can fix this. I deleted all the history and caches on the laptop.
And it's not because there are not enough results from my zip code because I live outside a big city and it has never been an issue over the years I've used the site.
I am doing all this on a laptop, not my phone.
So I recently decided to try the dating apps again and I'm using POF and Bumble. Now I decided I don't want to pay the fee and just do the free version and when I do that I get "likes" like crazy, never any messages. So I was curious and paid for just a week and the likes stopped coming in and the ones that did like me I sent a response only to not get a response back. So I'm back doing the free version again and now I'm back to getting crazy amounts of "likes". I need to know is it just me or does anybody else experience this as well?
Lying about your height is a cardinal sin. But lying about your whole face? Nah that's fine... š
Hey everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced any scammers with a verified profile? I'm just very cautious because I know the place is riddled with them. I've been approached by a guy who's very attractive but is verified and he's asked to move to insta for chatting quite quickly which I find a but sus.
Would appreciate if anyone can see what's going on. Am I missing something or am I overly cautious?
Thanks in advance
PoF lets you upload photos and you can choose to make them 'private' (see screenshot attached). How on earth do you then share these photos with someone? It seems you can make them private but you can't then show them to someone without making them public to everyone. Anyone know how to share them? Google brings up suggestions and none of them work. My photos aren't anything dodgy, just profile pics. Because of where I work, I don't want my photos to be visible to everyone.
Today, Nov-7-2024 Plenty of Fish has been taken-over by hackers. My account was deleted without even a warning. When I asked why, they refuse the basic courtesy of an explanation. Is this a way to run a business? What the hell is going on there?
I never went on dates with anyone here but did get a few matches and likes but it never progressed any farther than that.
Anyway years later I decided to try the app again and my god it has drastically changed into some money app for women.
Thereās this dating game thing where you talk to women for about 5 minutes but have to pay in order to talk to her, there were dozens of guys repaying multiple times to speak to the same girl that does not sound interested in them.
These women donāt sound remotely interested in dating. Theyāre just sitting there, talking about whatever while they watch these desperate guys throw money at them.
There was one girl who was sitting at a restaurant eating all the food she wants as she uses all the money from the guys paying to talk to her. She was pretty but my god their attempts were sad to watch.
I never payed a cent to speak to these girls because Iām not wasting 5 minutes to speak to a girl that just wants your money, lol.
When did this app become a money scam?
So I recently signed up for the app. I began talking with a guy for the last couple of days, and for them I was able to see his pictures. At some point during the night his profile pictures disappeared but I can still see our texts and send them. Did I get ghosted??
Hello!
Im working on a design project to help ease the frustrations of online dating. If you could share your thoughts and answer my questions it would be greatly appreciated.
Do you think people actually read your profile or simply swipe left/right based on your appearance?
How important is it for others to read your dating profile? Why?
How do you feel when you have to explain information that is already listed on your profile. (Ex: your match asks if you want kids, but you've already stated that you have no interest in having kids on your profile).
In what ways do you think a dating app can help you find better matches?
If you take the time to respond could you also leave gender and age . You can leave it out if you don't feel comfortable sharing such information.
Thank you!!
Hello, my name is Brian. I am 37 M mid-Atlantic region of the US.
I am in the process of redoing basically all of my dating profiles. I do not want to just be another guy complaining about his lack of success from dating apps; but I am obviously redoing them for a reason.
I thought this time I would see what women actually look for and focus on when looking at a profile. In the past I have emphasized I am not looking to have kids, and not looking to start a family. Doing this did not seem to lead to an increase any attention from potential dates though.
I have both put on my profile that I live with my parents, and I have also not mentioned that. To be honest the amount of attention I received is about that same whether I mention it or not. Do women feel it is important to mention that? Or should I only bring that up while on a date with someone?
I do not have a traditional job. So, I have never talked about my career or income level or anything like that. I would never lie about anything on my profile. But how important is your job to women? Is there something I could put there in place of a job that women would like?
I feel fairly confident about my pictures which is good :) I have discussed on reddit before about my pictures. I may not have the best pics ever. But I do like the pics I do have :)
I am mostly looking for the opinion of women on this issue. But if men want to chime in with their opinions on the issue that is totally fine as well. Any and all answers will be greatly appreciated, thank you :)
Spam bots cut the crap the Hey handsome and Message me on WhatsApp is getting so old and predictable do you think people buy that sh#t anymore. I have 3 messages like that in the last two days. God this site sucks.
So I recently downloaded PoF and got a match the other day we only talked maybe 4 messages in and she gave me her number. Area codes right and everything, texted her and after no reply for a couple hours. Well with my anxiety I noticed the chat was RCs as opposed to my normal SMS, then I read about people sim card hacked. So I blocked the # then after a lookup it comes out to a guy. Tbf my #came up with the lady who held it before me. But is this normal? Seems rather sketchy, especially with all the sus accounts already. š
Thanks in advance for your thoughts/ opinions maybe I'm just being weird š¤·š»āāļø
Guys/girls, What are your physological tricks to overcome the one-word responses from people? In context in the last day or so, I've had 2 females reply with one-word responses, which really gets me revv'd up, so I thought I would troll the 2nd one to see if she uses more than one word.
