1) The trump administration has committed high crimes and misdemeanors.

2) If we don’t remove him now, this will become the new normal.

3) Impeachment is how we stop what we cannot tolerate.

4) The only thing that can remove the trump administration is us, the American people.

5) We must take responsibility for building a country that works for all of us.

Members of Congress swore in their oath of office to defend the Constitution from enemies, foreign and domestic. Every day Donald Trump is in office is another day he undermines our democracy for his own gain and endangers everyone who calls this country home.

Congress cannot -- and doesn’t need to -- wait for more evidence of his crimes to begin impeachment proceedings. This isn’t about party politics; it’s about doing what’s right.

We the people are calling on members of Congress to do their jobs: Start impeachment proceedings against Trump. Defend us from a president who believes he can get away with anything.

Congress can’t let Trump get away with holding our democracy hostage, lying to the American people, creating fake crises, manipulating our election, and trampling on our rights. In a real democracy, no one is above the law -- including the President.
