If you have Dino’s in the Obelisk and you create a new survivor do you lose those Dino’s?

when i try to roll for the event prizes , zombie wyvern and some cosmetic items do not show up in my inventory or the beacon inventory, candy and other rewards show as they should but the zombie wyvern dont .Several other post report the same

does anybody found a fix or known if its reported to be fixed?

I keep seeing articles about how to increase tether distance but I can't find the setting, is it not in the game anymore or is it in a different place?

Everything on the mod seems to be working as intended, BUT in an entire trip around the Island, I did not find ONE gravestone/pumpkin pile, etc. for dinosaur bones. I did in fact loot them from Skeleton dinos, so I know the mod is functioning. But, ZERO piles in 2 trips around Island, makes me think something is wrong.

Is anyone else having this issue? I'm playing on ASA, PC, Single Player.

It was indeed cosmetics in a round about way. Unsure how it happened still, but my cosmetic recipes had doubled up to 7x each recipe.

Was unable to drop or transfer any of these. There was a save inventory mod on so dying wasnt helping. Tried to travel between beds but that didn't help. Spoke with cluster admin and he toon down the inventory death mod temporarily and I was able to kill my self and resolve the issue incase any one has any issues further down the line.

Anyone have the above issue where even though they have a character on the map just laying in a bed, joining that server just keeps taking you to the create a character screen? PLEASE HELP.

I have a dedicated server with nitrado that 4 friends and i play on. 2 of them are hit or miss on playing. Me and the other 2 play daily. Is it possible for the 3 of us to change maps while leaving the other 2 on the island? Everything I see is asking about single player. This is on ASA if it makes a difference.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? When you go to any container or bag and press Transfer All or try to Drop All, causing the entire server to crash??

Started happening yesterday after update. I have not seen any mention of it anywhere on the ark forums... Im hoping the patch that was deploying last night (55.9 or something) was to fix the issue but iv still not seen any patch notes online for the .9 version patch

Recently started playing Minecraft again with some friends and it got me interested in survival games again. However, I’ve already played Minecraft so many times that it doesn’t really scratch that itch anymore. Ark Ascended looks really good the graphics look amazing but apparently the performance isn’t really great. I was also interested by palworld but it doesn’t have split screen meaning I couldn’t play with friends or gf if I wanted to and playing survival games solo can be fun but not in the long run so I like to have that option.

So right now ark is on sale for 30€ and the sale ends in 10 hours. Is it worth it considering the performance issues and the fact that’s it’s apparently complicated and grindy? Or is it so fun to play that those issues can be easily looked past?

Decided that I am not paying the astronomidcal fees for a simple ARK server on nitrado and switch to hosting my own server but cannot figure out port forwarding. It goes on about local port start and local port end then adds in external start and external end. Then it throws in protocols. I am completely over my head with these.

Does anyone know what tf I do with these. I tried putting 7777 (the game port) as well as 27015, both set to both protocols and I still cannot even see my server. Even reserved my pc an IP on my router and it didn't help.

I was wanting to play a playthrough of the island to aberration with my friends ,would Nitrado worth with this? and would this even be possible with asa's multiplayer, Sorry the title says nitrox which is a subnautica multiplayer mod but i meant Nitrado

I used to play ark for many years since release on PlayStation however slowly started to lose interest in it and now with the release of ascended I’m just curious if it’s a good idea to get back into on pc?

I've never had this happen while playing ASA for 520 hours, but after today's update, it suddenly doesn't work. Is there anyone who has the same symptoms as me or solved it?
My PC specs are 5700x3D, 4070s, 32GB and installed on SSD.
And things I've tried include running it with dx11, updating the graphics driver, reinstalling the game, resetting the global settings in the Nvidia control panel, and running it with game administrator privileges. This game has so many basic bugs and crashes that I don't understand even after 500 hours. The gameplay itself is fun, but every time something like this happens, it makes me question whether this game is really a finished game.

I am attempting to set up a discord bot to be able to remotely save and close my servers. It already works to start the server and I have been able to set it up to remotely shut down the server window, however the fact that this is a hard shut down and doesn't gracefully exit the server has caused some issues with corrupted saves for my friends and I. So instead I decided to try and set up the bot to access the RCon port to remotely save and shut it down. Everything seems to be working and I have been able to access the RCON port via ARKCon to save and shut it down however, I cannot get my discord bot to connect to the server. I have even tried using the python mcrcon bot to directly remote connect to the server but i keep getting the error message "Server received, but no response" what am i missing.

I have tried spawning in a tamed one. Disappeared. I spawnd in an untamed one and force tamed it. Disappeared.

I'm on Xbox ASA, and was curious if there is a way to keep it?

Why does my game continue to play boss music after I tame a Dodo wyvern?

I force tamed a Dodo wyvern on ASA, and it still is playing the Halloween boss fight music that the game plays when the Dodo Wyvern is aggro'd. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Free or paid ones, looking for some ideas on what to try next.

Personally I've tried some and here's my thoughts:

Ark Omega Ascended

It's a great one as it isn't as linear as the other overhaul mod I've played on ASE/ASA, there's no absolute answers on best end game dinos, and it does really make ARK feels like an MMO, except the grinding part can be a little bit too much. If you like spending hundreds or even thousand of hours roaming around the map, looking for specific dino, or killing for materials, then this could be right for you, but personally at the later stage of game, it kinda feels like a chore for me. (Especially if you are searching for a specific variant of dino, such as uniques, farming for paragon souls to upgrade your tames, etc..). I've played it for around ~250 hours, at the point I can easily defeat a basic unique group gods, and farming omega lucky bosses (the one with 100 souls summon), but it become too grindy and repetitive for me to upgrade my tame's paragon level... oh and at later stage you probably just spend most of your time summoning bosses to fight...

Ark Primal Chaos

It feels like the primal fear I've played on ASE long time ago, but it gave me much shorter game hour, because the content is quite linear and I have high rates settings, the game probably lasted for around 100~150 hours for me. But it has more custom and cooler boss than the other mods i play on ASA.

Primordial Unleashed

I've played about ~100 hours on this mod, this mod is super grindy, which I really not enjoy when a mod are made grindy on purpose without adding any excitement, so it becomes very repetitive very soon, the game is always about, grind for 100x stuff, you need 10 of this to make 1 of that, etc, but still I have still completed the stage 1, which takes me to infinity tiers, and my tame can basically destroy any wild dinos out there. Plus there's a serious bug out there, which a few dinos variant aren't spawning, a few have reported the issues in the discord for months, but it wasn't fix, so it get kinda boring that there's only a few viable dino to use to progress, the rest are vanilla dino which are pretty much useless.

What I'm interested to try out next are actually Primal Nemesis, which is another paid overhaul mod, the only problem is I'm afraid the game would feel too similar to Ark Primal Chaos, which is from same developer, and maybe the game would be too linear. (But still any paid overhaul mod that can give me at least ~200hours of game play would be worth i guess.)

Ok, has anyone else run into this and did you manage to fix it?

When I host a non-dedicated game and my daughter joins, there are no issues whatsoever with her using admin commands from her console. She just has to change "god" into "admincheat god" after supplying the password.

Now when she hosts, I cant use console commands. I get weird responses to it, meaning if I type something that isnt a command I get an echo saying the normal "command not recognized" or whatever. When I type in a command that exists however, its different. I get no response echo at all and nothing happens. Its like the game is sulking in spectacular 5-year old style "I know thats a command but I dont wanna..."

Normally it goes:

Enablecheats <password>

Cheats enabled

For me it goes:

Enablecheats <password>

Admincheat god

admincheat infinitestats

Has anyone of you run into this? and if so, how did you fix it?

whenever opening inventory with b button on xbox x game crashes i can enter the inventory screen through chests and dinos EDIT getting rid of all your skin mods seems to fix it

Active events in ASE do nothing more than change wild dino colors because WC removed all the event assets from the game upon the last update (they claim it's for space but we know it's cuz they are d**ks). On the steam version workshop, there's an Event Assets V2 mod. Does anyone know if this event assets mod allows for events to fully function again?
