Are the speed secret books worth it or no? If you think they are, which ones do you recommend?
What are you guys thoughts on weight placement?
From what I remember friction was ten times more important than weight or aerodynamics. The kids with the polished axles, smallest grain graphite and thinnest wheels always won against the flat cars with standard tire assembly. Weight placement was next with it needing to be as far back (making it as high off the ground as you could) as possible without making the car tip backwards so that you got maximum potential energy. The shape of the car really wasn't that big of a deal as the kids with the pencil or other blocky designs didn't do too bad against the fancy designs all else being equal.
What are your guys' thoughts?
