Looking for recommendations for good food in Pikeville, KY.

I am on my way to South Carolina to visit family for Christmas and will be passing through Pikeville, KY on my route. I am stopping there for gas but was wondering if there are any recommendations for local food there that is not a restaurant chain that anyone would like to recommend? I feel like exploring a little beyond just passing through and wanna also use that to stop and eat before I finish my long drive the rest of the way. I am also considering getting extra to bring back to family as a surprise (I would keep it hot or cold in a cooler in my car).

Custom framing in or around Pikeville?

Got some concert posters I'd like to get framed but I'd rather not go to Hobby Lobby if I don't have to.

Internet Provider

Hello,

I'm moving to the Pikeville area soon and I was wondering what the best internet provider is. I saw that many people are between optimum (suddenlink) and intermountain. Which one is the best for service/cost? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Comedian Dan Alten coming to Appcycled in Pikeville this Friday at 7pm for a $5 show. I’ve opened for Kyle Kinane, Rory Scovel, Open Mike Eagle, Sarah Squirm from SNL, DJ Douggpound, and cool punk bands. I promise I’m funny and interesting and if you don’t enjoy the show you can spit on my car.

Anyone studying Optometry at UPIKE?

Like the title says I'd be interested in talking with someone who's in the optometry program at UPIKE. I'm going back to school for my bachelors and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do. I'm tired of nursing but I'd like to stay in healthcare so I'm looking at OT, or Optometry.

Did anyone catch the Warrant/Lita Ford show?

I saw they played in Pikeville recently. Was it any good? They're playing near my town soon, and though I'm not exactly a fan, I thought it might be good stupid fun.
