Embracing their defiant brand of progressive post hardcore and gaining a rabid fan base thanks to their incredible live show, Pierce The Veil have become a hot commodity over the past few years. But with the release of stunning new album Collide With The Sky, the San Diego natives are truly en fuego.
Deploying every shred of musical prowess in their artillery, Pierce The Veil have poured heart and soul into new album Collide With The Sky - and it shows. Blending the unique vocal style of singer Vic Fuentes, incendiary guitar lines and soaring melody, the band's third album is an aural exploration that at once both packs a punch, while finding the pockets of calm in the chaos - a talent that has made the band such a refreshingly exhilarating force in the scene.

I’m going alone and i’m looking for friends to hang out with during the concert since i don’t even know any german

I’ve only listened to King for a day, Match in the water, and One hundred sleepless nights which is my favourite song. I want to get into them because i really like their music, just don’t know where to start.
Currents Convulsive is prolly my top 5 favorite Pierce The Veil songs. Check out this cover i did
AND HOW’D YOU GET INTO MY HOUSE ???? (Bonus points for song name lyrics lol)
I recently listened to So Far So Fake after a while after going through experiences that have shifted my perspectives on things. Although the instrumentals still make me feel a certain way, hearing the lyrics through a new lens feels like listening to a whole new song. Curious to know if anyone else has felt this kind of thing with another PTV song (or another song in general)?
Surprising my Fiancé with tickets to a show. I dont know anything about Pierce the veil (with no disrespect) what do i need to know about them or their songs ? Any help is appreciated thank you

Hello all!!! Has anyone done a PTV related valentine or homecoming sort of board? I know I’ve seen some posted before. Going to make one to ask my bf to be my valentine hehe and wanted to get some inspo!!!
Hi! I'm trying to get some rare vinyls into my collection and was wondering which ptv ones are usually considered rare/have a high demand
I’ve grown to appreciate and love this song more and more the older I’ve gotten, and my favorite part IS the intro.
What Vic is saying just resonates with me. Especially as someone who has struggled hard with abandonment issues from a young age. I’ve found it hard to be in relationships because of that struggle, and it’s something I’ve worked on as I’ve grown but despite that fact, the thought of inadequacy still lingers and pops up sometimes.
When he says “I’m gonna make a million dollars ‘cause nobody’s gonna steal you, no for diamonds and gold” it honestly rattles me to my bones. Working hard whether that be literally in your career, or working hard mentally to be a better version of yourself for your partner, but always being worried it may not be enough. It’s just beautifully written.
The lines “She’s like a bullet through an ocean, I still remember how you moved so slow. You tried to kill me with your shotgun, bang now we’re even. We don’t stop ‘til someone’s bleeding.” Are so heartbreaking. Going through a toxic relationship is hard especially when you really feel love for the person it’s with, its tough for both people. Going back and forth arguing like idiots, and calling each other out of your names just to make the other feel the pain. It makes me think of the quote “Hurt people just hurt people.”
I also love some of the ending lines; “Maybe we’re meant to lose the ones we love, but I’ll fight for you ‘til then.” Honestly. It’s hard meeting somebody that you think really might be the right person, but meeting them at the wrong time in your or their life and things potentially not working out for whatever list of reasons.
Anyways I ranted enough tl;dr I fucking love this song.
i neeeed this album on vinyl! it's the last one i need.
Can we make a group chat wherever so that people don't spam the same questions and the chat can serve as a place before every concert on the tour as a place for people to connect and get info on the waiting lines and venue and whatever, because the amount of posts during the tour of who will be att this show and all that will be alot. I am not sure but I think we can make it here on the reddit.
Just a suggestion and if you have improvements to the idea im happy to see them in the comments (:
I don’t know if you all can relate but PTV crowds are absolutely INSANE and not in a good way. Lots of people with no crowd etiquette and ZERO safety in the pit. Horrific crowd crush and people shoving and pushing aimlessly. Don’t get me wrong, I know the pit can be crazy for any band, but WOW it’s bad. I always have WAY more fun sitting in the stands/seats because I don’t have to fear for me or my sister’s life (we’re both short, my sister is below 5 feet LOL) I’m not sure if anyone else has delt with this. I encounter so many RUDE people in the pits at these shows. Don’t get me wrong though, I’ve met a lot of super nice people too! I’m just worried as the show I am going to this summer is PIT ONLY (I would’ve picked a different venue if there was one near me). I want to be able to see but I’m honestly terrified to be in the middle of the pit. Any time I’ve been in the pit I’ve been at or close to barricade (which is surprisingly more tame because there’s only people pushing from behind). Sorry this is long but how do you guys prepare for being in a huge crowd like this? I want to have a good time but sometimes it seems unavoidable you wont see like 30 people passing out before the show EVEN STARTS! What do you guys do? Do I just tough it out and get beat up 😭
In depth pierce the veil album ranking
I know this has been posted so many times before but I wanted to share my opinion
Best song: So far So fake: I love the choruses on this one, great slow verses as well. (emergency contact and damn the man are also great)
Worst song: Even when I’m not with you: like I said, just meh. Nothing special here
Best song: Today I saw the whole world: I love the guitar intro so much, everything about this song is perfect. Top 5 ptv song for me (bedless is close second)
Worst song: Phantom power and ludicrous speed: again it’s just feels filler. Nothing stands out here
Best song: The cheap bouquet: the screaming and melodic “calm down” are so great. One of my favorite melodies ever
Worst song: currents convulsive: I don’t have a lot to say about this, I think the lyrics are good but there’s music doesn’t do anything for me
Best song: disaterology: it’s just perfect, the way the chorus starts off quiet but then becomes loud is hella good. The double guitar part in the intro is so great. It’s my favorite ptv song
Worst song: the new national anthem: this is quite literally the only song I don’t love on this album
Best song: BITB: I know it’s “cliche” and “basic” but this song is spectacular. The intro riff is one of the best ever
Worst song: TITGE: this is the one I don’t like, it just feels very filler and bland
Thanks so much for reading and share your own opinions in the comments
Before people get mad at me, I just wanna see if anyone agrees. I'm not coming at anyone, this is just what I've been noticing Personally I feel like there has there been a rise of bragging/greediness in the fandom? Not just the resellers, but every post on socials I see online is someone shoving their merch or something else ptv related in your face and it’s the same for every single post. Like it gets to a point. PTV fandom i feel like used to be more about talking about the music and songs, not just trying to make other people envy them. It's just all I see now; if it's not merch, it's people trying to on up each other
What albums do you hope get the most attention during this tour considering they’re playing songs from each album?
Also, they have to be performing King for a day with Kellin, right?
Glad this limited addition dropped. One of the last vinyls I needed for the collection 🙏🏼
does anyone know when the setlist for the i can’t hear you tour will be out?
