Hello everyone, My team is working on an app that helps to organize soccer (football) matches—looking for people who would be willing to sit for 15-20 min customer interview. Looking for players as well as people who want to organize soccer matches. Please let me know; your help will be highly appreciated

Anyone have any experience with pitch marking tape? It seems like it could be a trip hazard, but also really convenient for setting pickup games.

I don't know where everyone in this channel is from, but out here in Santa Barbara we are using an app called Ditto to coordinate games, I am not sure if it is launched in other places. I can leave a link for it if you guys are curious.

Hey, I've been looking for good pickup soccer groups near Vienna or Fairfax area, can I get some groups and times they play?
The problem I had was moving to a new city and not knowing where any fields were that I could play soccer, football, etc. on so I built a website where you can add your local field(s) to the map so others can discover them. I it to grow into a place where pick-up games can be set up and organized.
Add your field at https://www.discoverfields.com and let me know your thoughts.
Every Sunday at 2. I go to The Y in my area in inner city Baltimore.
I'm your average pick up soccer player at 31. I don't consider myself terrible but I'm not amazing either.
I'm decent with my passes and tackling.
But when it comes to dribbling, first-touches and shooting. I feel like an Ice-skater on concrete.
Every thing is just awkward, staggering and haphazard. And it really hurts my confidence.
Even when I get on goal. I never have composure to finish properly most of the time. I'm like a first timer blowing his load too soon.
But despite all that. It just feels good when I pull off something amazing and flashy with perfect technique.
I don't even care if I do it on accident or on purpose, it just feels damn good.
Today wasn't ok. My team got scored on a lot. And J made a lot of my usual mistakes.
Apathetic with desire to win. Bad positioning Not knowing my next move or pass The occasional bad and lazy pass.
But I'm also the following highlights
#1 I made a last ditch sliding block on 2 v 1 by covering for my center back (You won't believe how people waste opportunities by taking an extra touch instead of first-timing square passes)
#2 I was in a 50/50 with in midfield. The ball bounced once from an opposing goal kick. And an OP was trying to settle it after the first bounce facing our goal but I came to the side of him then jumped and did back heel pass while the ball was in mid air. It floated to my teammates for a counter attack and led to a goal.
#3 I did a dummy nutmeg and spun around the defender near the sidelines. My teammate fizzed a pass with a lot of pace on it. And I didn't want to settle that demonball of a pass to feet. So I let go through my legs because I knew the defender was coming to back and he had his legs wide open. All I heard was just
"Oooooooh"
"Damn!"
I squared a passed on the wing to a teammate. He got a shot on target. No goal.
#4 I nutmegged tackle a guy who was trying to dribble out from his goal. Dispossessed him. And scored (shoulder feint to the left. Inside finish of the right foot) Thierry Henry Would have been proud
#5 I did a step over with my left foot and passed with a right. It wasn't pretty. But it froze my defender in his tracks. And I liked that my teammate did a straight run pass to receive a diagonal pass from the right (I can't tell you how hard it is to pull off a through ball pass in pick up soccer. It's like we don't like to run at all. We always want fast food delivery passes to our feet. We hardly attack space)
Anyways those were my top highlights for today. With that said. What were your best moments/highlights in pickup soccer?
TL.DR: Tell me about your best highlights in PU Soccer?
Does anyone play pick up soccer in the Miami area? I'm new here. Looking for a place kind of close to Brickell. Also, does anyone recommend a league to play in?
Hey guys, I was wondering if there is any pickup games played around Culver City area in the afternoons? I finish work around 6 mon-fri and would love to be able to walk over to a park and play a few games. I know Mar Vista Rec Center has pickups from around 10-2 every day and they are amazing when I used to go but now I can only do afternoon/evenings and I’m not sure if they play around that time so I am looking for an alternative.. any suggestions would be great..! Thanks guys
