If you use an affiliate link, the comment must be "substantial". It shouldn't be a one liner; explain why the device is good and why OP should purchase that device. Lazy affiliate drops are likely to be removed. For the unaware, purchasing from an affiliate link gives a small amount of money to the person giving the link; this comes at no extra cost to you, but the linker profits from it. Affiliate links are allowed, but you'd better put effort into your comment if you're going to use them.
Don't spam. Stay on topic when submitting a post; this is first and foremost a place to find/help people find an Android device.
Be nice. Bigotry and slurs will not be tolerated. If you feel uncomfortable from the actions of a user, report them and message modmail; reporting is anonymous and modmail isn't disclosed.
Do not post about devices you're selling.. If you want to sell a device, /r/hardwareswap is a more acceptable venue (US-centric, there exist subs for specific countries too). Alternatively, make a listing on Swappa. Links to Swappa ARE allowed as comments to posts. Be transparent if the device you're linking is owned by you, should you link Swappa to an OP.
Don't troll. Intentionally feeding bad advice, being deliberately obtuse, or just basic trolling are all frowned upon and will be punished. Report trolls and/or bring them to our attention in modmail if you notice any.
Do not post links to a device as the main body of a post. Alerting OP to a deal in the comments of their post is fine, but don't submit a deal as the body of a new post. Posting that a new device is now officially available, however, is fine.

My iPhone 13 pro is starting to give out with the earpiece speaker not working anymore and battery issues.
I'm looking for a normal sized phone (6.1 ish inches) as I switch to an android. I am trying to choose between an S25 base or a pixel 9 pro. I have been using a samsung note 9 as a "secondary" phone for a while and I like goodlock, secure folder, and the idea of having multiple accounts for an app. As a photographer I hear that the samsung cameras are much worse than pixels in terms of indoor and low light photography, is that really the case? Is the pixel's tensor chip really that bad and will waiting for the 10 pro fix that? Does the pixel 9 pro have those modem issues that other pixels had? Is the pixel software really limiting?
I need the phone to have good battery life, not get in my way, and have good cameras.
Thank you.
I'm just looking for a phone with a really good screen for shows/movies and the best camera possible for the money, sadly pixel doesn't sell in my region all these phones are about the same price
Hi
Looking for a smartphone. Don't know anything about them:(
Thanks for your recommendations
My current contract is up next month and I can either downgrade my plan and just keep my S23 Ultra, or upgrade phone and stay on the current plan.
I was looking at the likes of Google Pixel and OPPO phones to potentially change to, but would their latest models be an upgrade on the S23 Ultra? I'm in Ireland so would have to be a model available with Eir, Three or Vodafone etc.
Thanks 🤞🏻
Hi im from Panama, which should i buy? I need a phone for my work not for gaming, need a good battery and also ESIM support.
Thank you
So I work in open surface mines and I'm routinely breaking phones and destroying them. Whether it's dust clogging up the ports and shorting out the board, or just dropping in on some sharp rocks, I lose a phone almost every four to six months. I need something that can hold up to some abuse and won't shatter the moment I accidentally drop it from a few hundred feet.
I’m switching away from the iPhone for the first time in 12 years. I’ve found two good deals (with a contract) and I’m looking for advice. Which phone should I choose?
GOOGLE PIXEL 9 - 128GB storage:
• Monthly cost: €23.90 (=€573.70)
• Plan: 35GB per month, 50Mbps
SAMSUNG GALAXY S25 - 256GB storage:
• Monthly cost: €25.91 (=€621.85)
• Plan: 30GB per month, 300Mbps
-----
The case for the Galaxy: It’s the newest phone, has 256GB of storage, a better mobile plan, and I’ve often heard that Samsung’s software has better features (though I can’t really judge, as I haven’t used Android in 12 years).
The case for the Pixel: The software design looks great, and it’s supposed to have the better camera. Photos aren’t my top priority (I’m currently using a 6-year-old phone, so anything would be an upgrade).
I've had my edge 30 ultra for about two years and it's got basically everything I need in a phone, but the battery has gone to absolute shit the past few months. I used to be able to get a day and a half out of it but now I need to charge it 3 times a day. The main things I'm looking for are Battery life and performance. I want something that's gonna last all day, and allow me to play Zenless Zone Zero and emulate PS2 and 3DS games.
A decent camera would be nice, as well as wireless charging but it's not a deal-breaker.
I'm currently looking at a OnePlus 13 or 13R, mainly because I used to have a OnePlus Nord and I loved it, and they gave trade in offers at the moment. That said I'm open to pretty much any brand except for Samsung (don't like oneui)
My budget is around £800 or so.
Because of the battery issue with pixel 4a, i will probably need to look for a new phone.
Any recommendations? Budget about 350€/400€ (Belgium)
I dont game on my phone. Just need something reliable with decent performance. A good midranger.
needs:
to give you an idea of prices here:
Thanks!
Hi,
I am in the market for a new phone, and I need a flagship grade camera for a budget price. I am getting S23 for INR 38k (~$500). in India Is it worth it in 2025?
The major competitors are OnePlus 13R and S24 FE. So that's why I am confused what to buy. Please help me out.
Hi guys,
Upgrading from my POCO F3 after 3.5+ years.
I am getting the Pixel 8Pro and S24 FE in the same price (680USD), while the Pixel 9 costs around 100 dollars more.
Here's what's important for me:
I prefer a bigger display as I'm used to the 6.67 inch of the F3, consume a lot of media. Leaning on the S24 FE here.
The camera on the F3 sucks so that's important too, in particular main camera performance (day and night both) and the ultrawide/selfie. Don't shoot video much at all. Leaning on the pixel here but I've seen reviews showing s24 isn't bad at all.
Battery life: Want it to last the whole day, faster charging is nice to have. Mixed reviews on S24 FE and P8P but the Pixel 9 has very good battery life.
Software: no preference here.
Longevity: Looking to keep this phone for around 5 years, so performance and battery life are main concerns. My F3 lags alot in some apps like maps etc, so I'd be nice to have some future proofing in terms of great performance over the long term. Only looking for 256gb models with 8GB ram, not sure if 12GB is the right way to go. Leaning on S24FE for performance since I'm not sure how the Tensor holds up in a few years.
Usage: I don't game at all. My daily use is social media, netflix/youtube, web browsing, navigation and spotify etc. Occasional pictures.
What would you recommend? Keep in mind I am from a third world country. These prices are the cheapest available.
I had an honor 200 lite wich I unfortunately lost, I liked it but I found the camera quite underwhelming. for around 250 (can maybe get to 300), what would be the best phone I can get? I generally don't want xiaomi stuff or similar cuz tons of bloatware and ads but if it's by far the best option I can consider
Which is better overall realme gt6 or poco f6 pro?
Looking at the pure hardware spec to price ratio, it seems like Chinese phones come in with flagship specs at up to half the price.
What's the downside for choosing one of these phones? Do they actually work on carriers of the western world? Does Google work? Are there privacy concerns? Hard to source? I've read things like the OS needs to be changed initially on some of them? How do you know?
The number of Chinese phones in the marketplace keeps increasing and is enough to make my head spin. It seems like spec-wise vs price they rock, so why are they not winning?
I guess one point might be software updates, but even with only 2-3 years of updates that wouldn't be outside of what the norm had been for most phones for a long time. The recent longer supported update promise is just a nice new bonus. That's just one example, but seriously, what's up with Chinese phones?!?
Busco un celular con esim en Panamá, me llama la atención redmi note 14 pro y su precio, tengo un presupuesto de 300 a 350$
Lo recomiendan?
Gracias
Did the battery from the S23 already got patched down? I read that users who used to get over 6 hrs SOT nowadays only get 4 hrs. Is that true?
Could get one for 450 euros. Still good offer?
Hi all! I'm in the market for a new phone. Coming from Redmi note 9 pro in France
Things I'd like:
So far I've looked at
Open to any other suggestions (except Samsung- for some reason I just don't vibe with the OS)
Thanks a lot!
Hello! I currently have an LG G7 ThinQ, and it still works well for me after 6 years. However, I do have a couple apps that will not update anymore (I'm stuck on Android 10), and there are some apps like Android Auto that are starting to get problematic.
I initially thought my wants for a new phone were pretty simple, but upon some searching, perhaps not. Casting my net here to see if there is something that I am missing :)
I'd like a 1440 flat panel screen, and it needs to run Android 11 or better. 5G would be nice, but I've made it this long without it, so it's not necessary. Better than a 3000mah battery would be great. I'm pretty frugal, but willing to pay for quality stuff, so my budget is flexible. I have looked at the OnePlus13, and I might default to it if I cannot find something slightly smaller (I have small hands) and cheaper. I've also eyeballed a Pixel 4XL, and a V50 ThinQ, but I suspect I'd only be kicking the can down the road for another year with those. Currently in the USA on TMobile's network.
My usage is watching movies, internet, taking photos, some office and school work (Sheets, Docs, etc).
Im an iPhone user for the longest time and I want something very user friendly with long battery life.
Any recommendations?
My DAD needs a phone and I've narrowed it down to these two. He's currently using an old MOTO and basically only uses the phone to watch YouTube videos besides the normal text, call functions. Both are similarly priced where I live.
Which one should I go for?
I’m wanting to get an old android phone to have as a backup phone. I was looking at LG G4, but will facebook and messenger run on android 7? If not, does anyone have recommendations for android phones that will run them? I would prefer something old and cheap with a removable battery for easy replacement. TIA! Edit to add; I’m in Canada!
I have been trying to research phones for a couple hours, I look at chinese phones, look at reviews, and there are always software issues with no support, and badly written slander comments from obvious competitors same as you see anywhere with reviews.
My current phone is an lg journey and I hate it, so an upgrade from that is extremely easy.

I want some weird shit that works. I was originally interested in the unihertz tank and similar phones, and I am seeing ones that come with shit like a radio or walkie talkie function lol.
As long as this isn't annoying and yall would find this fun to talk about, please educate me on this kind of thing. Someone on another reddit posted a website for european users called skinflint that scraped data from everyfuckingwhere where I could filter features I wanted by price etc. I don't know if the us has a similar website but this site was great. Almost like "isthereanydeal" for gaming but for phones.
Looking for my next android currently using a OnePlus 8, and it's still great just the battery is terrible.. I like the idea of getting more frequent updates with a pixel or a Samsung and potentially less bugs than my OP. I had a OP3 and it was less buggy than my 8.
I'm looking for the best camera in a phone, point and click. Taking pictures of my kid.
Phones I'm considering Pixel 9Pro OnePlus 13 Samsung s25
Any other suggestions are welcome.
Location united states.
I've had a TCL 10 Pro for the last four years and it's been mostly great, but the battery life is starting to dramatically drop and I think it's time for an upgrade. In terms of wants, my main concern is the best possible camera (equal or better than current TCL 10 Pro stats below), followed by screen and performance (I'm not really a gamer). I've been looking at the OnePlus13R but reviews of the phone AND company seem to be pretty mixed. Looking forward to y'all's advice, thanks! I'm located in the US if that helps.
Main Camera:
Quad: 64 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/1.72", 0.8µm, PDAF
16 MP, f/2.4, 13mm (ultrawide), 1/3.1", 1.0µm
5 MP, f/2.2, (macro)
2 MP, f/2.4, (depth)
Features: Dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama
Video: 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, 720p@960fps, gyro-EIS
Selfie camera:

As the title says, im looking for around 400, maybe 500 if it justifies the purchase. My last phone was a xiaomi mi mix 2S (had it for the longest time, really no issues, but the mic get busted on holidays and the battery is really wasted) and after that i got a hand-me-down onePlus nord 2, which i thrashed now. So im just looking for a mid of the road replacement, just for watching videos, browsing, so the battery is decent.
Im in Eastern Europe so the selection isn't too huge. So far i narrowed it down to Poco X7, Google pixel 7a, OnePlus nord 3 or xiaomi redmi note 14.
I've read some bad reviews on some of these, as the battery isn't the best, slow, maybe some are overheating, so im not so sure now, for which would be the best.
Do you have any experiences with any of these? Maybe other recommendations?
Any help is appreciated.
Hi there! I bought a Motorola One Hyper in 2020 and while it is still kicking I feel its death is upon us and while I'm starting to look for a replacement for it, I'm a bit overwhelmed with so many options lol and could use some recommendations of phone in a similar category, if possible.
I would REALLY like a headphone jack, if possible but I guess I could live without it;
I'd like a camera similar to my current one.
I play some games on it but nothing too fancy or heavy;
128gb is enough storage for me;
I like to watch Netflix on it while doing the dishes, don't know if that impacts anything;
I'd also prefer a newer phone so I could get a few.more updates out of it;
I'm parcial to the Motorola line but definitely not locked in with it;
Preferably mid-range price.
Is there anything else I should list?
Thanks in advance!
Which is better? Overall wise im looking for the best for my buck
Let me preface this with this would be the first time I've really have considered getting a flagship at launch, I usually am looking at the flagship from a gen or 2 ago. I reside in the US so I'm somewhat limited to whats offered in the US market.
Had the S20+ for awhile but am starting to want an upgrade, the back is shattered so I don't think I get any trade in options. What would yall recommend? I want something with a solid OS experience and acceptable support both for software and hardware. I don't care much about camera quality, though it's nice to have. I know this generation is huge on adding AI but I haven't really looked into how useful it actually would be so it's not high on my list at the moment. I like gaming and consuming media with my phone, but I also have a legion y700 so I don't NEED it for power gaming, but CPU performance is still important to me. I use google for a lot of stuff. I prefer smaller phones but am not opposed to something the size of a oneplus 13. I usually hang on to my phones around 4 years. Battery life is important but I don't NEED the 100W charging speeds.
I've been mostly looking a lot at the oneplus 12/13, google pixel 9 pro, Samsung s24+/S25+, but open to other options. What are yalls thoughts? I was heavily leaning towards the oneplus until I read a bunch of horror stories on how bad their support is for both hardware/software (I don't know how true this is)
I've wanted to try a google phone for awhile, but hear how mid their hardware is/it doesn't last nearly as long as the software support they offer, but also see how vigorously some pixel users defend it.
I've been a lifelong Samsung user since hopping off the 3GS way back in the day, so I'm use to their system and happy enough with it, but been reading how Samsung users haven't been necessarily happy with the direction they've been heading, with s23 - s25 being minimal changes besides the new chip.
Also heard good things about nothing phones.
If you actually read this wall of text thank you for your time and hope you'll drop your opinions/experiences!
Cheers.
Looking for a budget-midrange phone and im leaning towards the Poco x7 pro. Of course the camera is important and I know the poco’s is not the best but the battery life makes up for it imo. Anything around its price range worth getting instead? Thank you so much!
Have the S10e. Absolutely love it. It's the perfect size for me, microSD slot, good camera...never had any issues with it. But it's starting to show it's age and I'm overdue for a new phone.
Am looking for something similar in size to my S10e. Realize that most phones these days are bigger so it doesn't have to be the exact same size but something that isn't obnoxiously large either. I'd also like it to have a good camera. Don't use it for social media or anything, but do like to snap pics when I'm hiking/backpacking. Have been pretty happy with the S10e camera. Would like something similar or better. Having a microSD slot is the cherry on top but realize that most phones don't have those these days, so it's not a deal breaker.
I'll likely be running Nova Launcher on whatever phone I choose. Have used it on every Galaxy I've owned and would like to continue to do so.
Currently considering the S24. It's smaller in size and is a Samsung so I'm already familiar with that ecosystem. But, I don't use my phone for much else besides Reddit, web browsing, random non-demanding apps (e.g., chess, Duolingo, fitness), and pictures. No gaming. Will occasionally watch Netflix on it. I'm wondering if the S23 is too much phone for what I want to do with it and am curious about exploring other options.
Realize my only other decent option seems to be the Pixel.
Located in the US. Verizon. Budget is $1000 but would definitely like to spend less than that if possible. Would be much happier to spend $500.
