Hi! My family has a 1920-something Victrola made in Camden, NJ (sorry I don't have the details about it atm). My mom is letting me take it when they sell the house <3. I unfortunately don't know much about phonographs, vinyl, turn tables, or antique restoration. Does anyone have immediate resources I can look at so once I get the Victrola I can review its condition & make adjustments as necessary? TIA!
Note: my mom says it's in pristine shape - but it's been sitting stagnant for at least 34 years, and the last time the phonograph was played was probably in 2010 when I secretly spun a 78 on it when no one was home
It was on my HMV baby monarch, in curious because I can't find them online.
Hey team! Looking to get a portable phonograph from silvertone repaired. All the parts are solid just needs the motor gone through and a spring replacement along with the reproducer rebuilt. Anyone do this type of work?
I don’t own one nor will I anytime soon, but if I ever do get around to buying one I’ll come back to this post.
By the way I’m not sure if it really qualifies as a phonograph, correct me if I’m wrong.
Can anyone identify this phonograph horn? Considering purchasing, but not interested if it's a reproduction. Thanks!

It's running at 68 RPM and I don't know why? It's winter but my house is warm the speed is at max, but it's still running slow. Please help, it's not the record either because it plays fine on my HMV (my HMV is running at 77rpm) any help is appreciated!!!
I just got a rear-horn disc graphophone, but it slows to a stop when I put the tonearm on. Spins goods & well without the arm on though, and the turntable is raised above the base. Should I give it some oiling? Check the weight of the tonearm? Thanks.
Just bought me a no.4 so I can play 40's records on my victrola. Then I started doubting if I could. Can I?
Guy thinks it is a frankphone. It is an external horn phonograph its175$
