Long story short: I played the game over 5 years ago, and I can remember the ending being EXTREMELY disappointing; I for sure thought that that could not have been the ending... It's been torturing me. Does anyone know whether there was a continuation of these series??

I recently found my old PS2 with a few games that I never got around to playing which included Phantasy Star Universe, so I decided to give them a go before I finally got to this one. However I am having trouble saving, is says that the memory card may be damaged, which is odd because it worked well enough with the last game I played.

Any suggestions as to what I can do about this?

So I reinstalled Clementine last night and I have been trying to get in but after I try to run the application I get this I have tried to hit the "play" button but it just instantly exits. I tried going to the main website for Clementine but it just says they are taking a break currently? I am hoping someone here might be able to tell me what the issue might be because it's just straight up not working at all despite my efforts on this.

AOTI has like, an actual offline story mode, does clementine include all that story content? or is it just contextless missions from the base game and AOTI? do i get a proper experience of episode 1 and 2 and 3?

I really wanted to play pso2 but i didn't want to download 79gb just for the classic experience again. I was thinking about playing psu again after it got mentioned but i see that it's not implemented. is there plans on it happens or is it just gonna be like psobb where ya either solo or find someone to play with?

I missed out on playing this with friends as I originally found PSU after the servers shut down, I still played it singleplayer till my xbox destroyed the disk. I'm installing Clementine now to give it a shot and idk if I can convince any of my friends to jump in with me as they never played phantasy star.

Let me get this out of the way first—I know Marm & Co have spent a tremendous amount of time on Clementine. I know that someone taking your work and monetizing it is a big reason why a software developer may not want to release their work.

That said, Clementine can’t be the only option for online PSU. The whole point of the private server project was to restore PSU—not to turn it into this bastardized, hyper-modern MMORPG experience that you could get (and at a higher quality) in any number of games.

While there are some tweaks to PSU’s original design that I would make, Clementine has gone through so many fundamental changes that the game is nearly unrecognizable, and has been for a long time now.

If the staff is unwilling to provide a way for community members to host their own server(s)—which, again, I get—then at least give a trusted Phantasy Star community member/group an opportunity to provide an experience that’s not what Clementine has become. This can’t be the only option.

the patch on archive.org forces the game to english language

Hey everyone. Just a quick one. I’ve been bored to death of PSO2 NGS and yearned to play PSU again. Got the original hardware for the PS2 version, and played through PSU in it’s entirety, then uploaded the extra character to AoTI, and had a blast with my imported character and all the unobtainable stuff from the original game.

Fancied giving Clementine a try, but after getting into the game, I can’t seem to get past around 45%/50% before I get met with this message and then the window closes.

I downloaded the installer from the main page’s link “getting started” and figured everything was looking good until this issue.

Tried again to no avail. Any insight would be great. Thank you.

Hello there, fellow Hunters. I got lucky and bought a sealed copy of PSU Illuminus for PS2, game works great but once past the Ethan boss battle at the end of Mask 2 I get stuck into an endless loading screen. No weird noises, except the usual activity of an optical drive actively trying to read and load, but seems to not find what it's looking for. Might it be a mech issue/failure? I get no problem on other games, even those with constant disk access.

Trying to find a cheat file (or list of cheats), for the emulator for the PS2 PAL version of PSU and the expansion, if anyone has any leads, it would be most appreciated. 👍🏾

Title, I want to make him a Fighgunner, but even though I've gotten him to level 10 in Hunter and 8 in Ranger, it's still not showing up for me, and the prerequisites say that I need to be 5 and 3 in those Types respectively.

I know there used to be an offline mode patch for both games on PSUPedia but that website seems to not longer exist. From my understanding Clementine has no story mode content at all? I can't seem to find any other backups of the Japanese Offline patch. Is it gone forever?

Is it possible to log in to an account on clementine? I only see the option to register.

I have never played it so I'm pretty excited but before starting I wanted to know if the online community is as active as PSO players? Does anyone know where I can access the game files to edit them?

How would you guys feel if a game similar to PSU with better combat came out? Do you think it would accepted amongst the modern mmo crowd, even with the sectioned off mission structured combat? PSO2 (not NG) is close, but lacks the simplicity and charm of PSU.

The wiki told me to select the top option if it's in Japanese but I selected the bottom option :O it's now downloading patch file and there's English writing again so did I get away with it or are there going to be consequences?

Hello, why does my window always close immediately after I want to start the game?

I want to get back to PSU since I played a lot of it back in the days on 360. I don't own the console anymore but I would like to get back in on my Steam Deck. For now I can emulate the PS2 version but it's kinda ugly, I think the PC version could look better.

I heard of the Clementine project which looks awesome to relive the thrill of the game. Only thing is, I'm not really interested in playing online because I want to play on the go without an internet connection. Is that possible ?

Hi friends! Calling for advice on clementine again. I was having this issue where my launcher was bugged and the game couldn't connect to the network. Well today, the launcher magically fixed itself. Or so I thought. When I try to register, it pops up with this blank window. I've tried different emails, passwords, etc. And I just can't figure out a way to make it work
