This may be a big long shot, I went to school at st Anne’s catholic school in ptbo between 2008 - 2010. I moved away in 2010 but I’m looking to see if anyone here may have attended class with a teacher that went by the name Mrs. Foresyth (I think that’s how you spell her last name)She was my grade 3 teacher and around Christmas time or Easter all the kids in class had a baking day and we made this yummy sweet bread. I’ve always wanted to make it again but when I search online of a sweet bread I don’t get anywhere close. I believe she was Italian so I’ve looked into Italian breads but I still am unsure if these breads are the ones from class based on the looks/ingredients
Has any one had tired wing house? I’ve drove past it a few times but have never made the time to check it out. Is it worth it? Anything to write home about?
Saw this neat little guy by Monoghan/Chamberlain this afternoon! I saw another post about a hawk, but unsure if it’s the same one. Anybody know what it is?
Noticed a lot of loud cars always ripping up and down hunter street in east city, more than I see around the rest of ptbr, any reason as to why?
this is my last resort. I’ve been applying to jobs nonstop since last year. I’ve tried everything, I’ve walked in to hand my resume, talked to managers. Applied to a gazillion jobs online. Zero call backs. I am literally gonna crash out. I need to have a job, like genuinely. I’m struggling, I’m from a low income family. And what makes me feel worse is that my friends who are on the same level of skills and experience as I am have jobs, when the difference is that they do it because they want money. Well I NEED money. I’m barely surviving. I eat a meal once a fucking day, I walk everywhere even in the winter because i’ve got no fucking car or money to buy a bus ticket, I wear the same shoes all year even in winter because I can’t afford winter shoes. And thats not even it, it’s frustrating.
Please, if you own a business, or you’re a manager, or you know someone. If there’s a job available that requires no experience, please help me.
Hi everyone, I have a 2010 mini coop and the fan stopped working. We asked our regular mechanic to take a look when they did our winter tires and they said we needed to take it to a specialist.
I have no idea where to even start with finding a mechanic that could do that so any recommendations would be appreciated!
How do we dispose of old blankets and pillows? Do we just throw them in a garbage bag and put them on the side of the road? Do we have to bring them to the dump our self? Recycled? Any advice will help, thank you!
Where can I find a good spot to hunt my own Christmas tree? Ie. I'm not paying for one
I accidentally dropped my left air pod in the isofix hole in the back seat of my car and I think its pretty deep in there because I can hear it when I do the find my phone noise but I don't see it. Does anyone know any ways to get it out? I tried a lot and unfortunately I think the last option would be to remove the seat but I don't want to spend like $500 just to get my air pod. Is there anyone in the area who can do it for cheap? Btw they're air pod pros 2nd gen so if anyone has a left air pod just lying around let me know haha.
I saw a porcupine a few days ago. He just ambled across the trail about 10 feet in front of me without a care in the world. I've been telling every dog walker I see out there, and today one of them told me they'd seen it too.
Leash your dogs!
Anyone else without power or George St?
My neighbours have set up beautiful Christmas lights. That part is fine. The part that’s driving me nuts is that they have outdoor music playing and it’s after 9pm. I can hear it no issues from my bedroom. I work super early in the mornings and need to get some sleep, buts it’s just constant Christmas tunes playing in the background. Am I just being irrational?
I checked Gas Buddy today and Endicott Fuel was the best gas price and it was near where I was headed. It doesn’t give off an ‘open to the public’ kind of vibe though. Maybe they’re closed on Sundays?
Could a regular person just pull up and buy gas from their pumps?
So apparently at chucks roadhouse they’re charging three percent to everyone’s bill as an “honest to goodness” tax. When we asked why they said it was to keep prices low and quality high. Why not just raise prices by 3 percent? This seems like a giant scam to me.
I’m on the Asd spectrum and I’m looking for friends around 18-25
My family will relocating to Toronto in the near future. We are looking to get a quote for packing and moving. I would especially appreciate hearing from anyone who has had movers pack for them before.
Where to get a console hdmi port repair in town. Mobile klinic at the mall quoted $120 and 1-2 weeks. I’m ok with cost but not the turnaround time. Any where else?

I'm looking for a holiday/Christmas tree here in PTBO, curious on prices and recommendations for a live tree in this area. Would rather support local than bigger company. Thank you in advance.
My friend keeps asking for help with her makeup, and wants to learn how to do everyday makeup from a professional. Is there anywhere is Peterborough where I can purchase this service for her?
