I have a 1400 SAT, 1430 superscore (idk if that counts) and a 96 weighted average (my high schools scale is out of 100). Do I have any chance at the regents scholarship?
Hey everyone, I was just wondering why/how the acceptance rate is up to 50% now? At least that what it says on google. I remember it used to be way lower. The school is still really excellent right? I want to make sure it’s still rigorous. Thanks
Does anybody know the highest amount given for the Regents Scholarship? There is nothing online expert that it starts at $20k. I would need a very high amount to make attending Pepperdine feasible.
Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well with the fires. I am interested in applying for fall of next year (2026) and i was just wondering if everything will be back to normal by then. I’m from the east coast so I don’t really know how long recovery takes from these fires. Will surrounding areas still be in bad conditions? Will there be less applicants because they’re now scared of the fires? Thank you
hi everyone, i hope you're doing okay and safe on campus from the fires in california right now. i was accepted ea as a bs biology major (pre med), super excited to possibly go here!! however, i do have significant demonstrated need (-1500 SAI) and pepperdine is an expensive school at sticker price. i looked at the accepted sat scores for last year and i think i may qualify for regents if there are similar trends this year but i've seen different things regarding need-based aid. should i have any hope for my tuition being covered? and if not have people had any success appealing their financial aid award?
Hi there! I am a student contributor with CalMatters and I'm looking to interview a student about their experiences amidst the LA fires, potential evacuation, and what the future holds. If you are interested in being interviewed, please message me so I can provide more details! Through this article, I hope to create a space of empathy, information, and understanding of the unique experiences of students at this time
Extremely sad to see what’s going on in the area right now. It’s really just horrible.
The thought though from me, is it even worth applying to anymore? I always thought it was a beautiful campus, has fine education, and seemed really fun. It was more of a fun safety for me.
With everything going on now, I mean who knows what’s even gonna happen to the campus with the fires, but let alone the area. Everything is burning around there.
Hopefully everyone is okay and they can attempt to contain it soon but still. Should I not send my application, is it a waste?
So context I’m a incoming MPP student for fall 2025, I’m left leaning political organizer who ran the YDSA at my undergrad school and have been pretty involved with the left wing political organizing space in Los Angeles where I work. I choose to go to Pepperdine because of its proximity to where I live and high rating as a public policy school but the more I read about the professors and watch lectures from professors on campus the more I worry that I’ll be the odd one out and that I’ll be graded harshly because of my beliefs or that I’ll find it hard to fit in with the students so in your experience how accepting or welcoming is Pepperdine’s faculty and students to left-leaning political beliefs and should I worry about being fairly graded?
Hey so I am currently in my third year at Pepperdine and am planning to apply to the MFT program here after I graduate but I want more info as I am first gen and lost lol
I don't have a good GPA (2.89) but I still intend on raising it and do have plenty of experience & research. I will be able to secure good letters of rec. but not sure if I should take the GRE atm. Anyone been in this position? Do I have a chance?
Does anyone know if Pepperdine prioritizes or cares about keeping previous pepperdine students?
Can I apply to all in-person programs (morning, noon, and evening) and online format or just one or the other? Do I have a higher chance of getting into one or the other?
If I take the GRE, do they automatically see my score or can I decide if I submit or not?
Thank you <3
How do you find the digital yearbooks for 2007+
Hello, I was just accepting for fall of 2025 and I did have a question about changing majors. Is it easy to change majors at Pepperdine. I am currently happy with my major of sports administration but I know lots of people change them during college so I was wondering if it was easy to do at Pepperdine even if you are trying to switch into more competitive majors like business or nursing. Thank you!
Hello everyone. I am currently in the college application period. Pepperdine is one of the universities I plan to apply to. Since I am an international student, I am also looking for a scholarship. However, since the scores of the 3 SATs I took were not that good, I think I should apply as test optional. If i do that, I won't be eligible for the Regents scholarship. What other scholarship opportunities are there for international students? I would be very happy if you could answer.
Has anyone received their financial aid info if you applied early for class of 29?
I got accepted to all three schools, which one would be better for finance, and which one would have a better student life?
Hey! I got into Pepperdine (yay!) and I was wondering what the stats are for the people who got the Regents Scholarship?
I’m top 10% of my class 94.00 gpa uw 13 APs 1340 SAT
Am I a contender? Thanks
Financial aid question
Hi, according to Pepperdine's common data set, the previous year they covered 77% of demonstrated need. My question is: this percentage applies to both tuition and on campus housing or only tuition?? Would appreciate your thoughts/ answers. Thanks!!
hey! i’m so thrilled i just got accepted for biology at pepperdine and i wanted to hear current student experiences being in the major there. how's bio at pepperdine?
Super excited for getting in!! But now I am not sure I can afford these costs. Do you think I can get
I noticed that according to the common data set they provide in average $49k for need aid. Do you think I can get that much in need aid/ need grants?? Thanks!!!.
A friend of mine recently ran into a problem. They planned to live in campus housing for just one semester, but the housing office insists that their contract requires staying for the entire academic year. We’ve looked over the terms and conditions and noticed that the fees are charged per semester, yet we never specifically saw anything stating a full-year housing requirement.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation or have experience navigating this? I’m curious if:
This full-year requirement is clearly stated somewhere in the official policy. Anyone has successfully moved out after just one semester. There are any appeal or negotiation processes if the contract terms seem ambiguous. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
applied to all 3 RD, looking to major in psych with an interest in things like forensics or adult therapy. cost is not an issue but id like for the night life to be good and food and dorms 🤗
I applied in mid October for early action. Do the decisions come out all at once or do they come out randomly??
Hey all :) in my 3rd quarter, finals are beating me up, but I would really like to connect/ create a community on here with you all :) how is everyone doing? I feel like online sometimes really does limit our social experiences
My sister is an Alumni, for years she had a license plate holder, it's totally worn out. I'd love to gift her this! If not this, maybe a sweatshirt? Where can I find it?
👋Hello everyone! I'm a student (F19) from out of state, looking to sublease or rent a room near Pepperdine or surrounding the Malibu area. If anyone have any recommendations, let me know! 🙏
Hi everyone! I am currently completing all the nursing major pre-reqs at the community college. While researching nursing programs I stumbled upon Pepperdine opening up their nursing BSN program in the Fall of 2025. I would be transferring into the Fall of 2026, I have 3.7 GPA, work in medical field, and first gen as well as immigrant. Even though my college does not have an articulation agreement with Pepperdine, they do have one with my sister college. I just wanted to see if anyone has any info on their new BSN program and how likely is it to get in as a transfer student. Additionally how likely is it to get on-campus housing as a junior, I understand that it’s hard, but off-campus is outrageously expensive.
I currently attend a community college in San Diego that has an articulation agreement with Pepperdine for credits. I’m hoping to transfer in as an economics major. My gpa is I think around 3.1 I’m a first generation college student I’ve done volunteering at a local church as well as an internship with a local professional soccer team, as well was a president of a club in high school. I have not done a lot of extracurriculars except for my internship. I failed one class my first year but have passed the rest just not with a great letter grades
Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is anyone who has transferred to Pepperdine from a community college. I am currently a freshman in community college myself and I am majoring in accounting and would love to attend Pepperdine. I'm not really involved in any extra circulars or anything. All i'm doing right now is taking the necessary classes for my degree. If anyone attending Pepperdine is also a transfer themselves, could you please let me know what you did during community college that got you accepted. GPA, extra circulars, service hours, any advice/help is appreciated! Thank you in advance!
