So my house has 3 offers within 48 hours of posting on the market and we’ve found one we like in the North-Florence neighborhood. We have had a look in person and are doing all the things. We wanted to get a feel for the neighborhood ahead of time. Just driving around it looks quiet, walkable, nice. Does anyone have any horror stories or reasons to stay away? We’re getting the contract drawn and started so any info would be appreciated, thanks.

hello! I know it is a bit of a stretch but I am wondering if there is anywhere I could look for a garage space for rent in the Peoria area? I am an engineer in the area and I live with some friends locally. We have a great living arrangement and low cost but I would love to rent a space where I could store some tools/motorcycle/car and wrench on them some evenings/weekends. I’ve tried some sites and forums but I don’t need an apartment or house. Just looking for a small garage or even barn space. I’ve considered going with a storage unit but don’t like the idea of hanging around at one working on something. Thanks.

I think the fact that Peoria is considering it shows how awesome we are and shows that our representatives are interested in making sure we are truly represented. I highly recommend checking out Fair Vote, a non-partisan group who advocates for Ranked Choice Voting, to learn more about it and make a decision for yourself on whether you think this should be something we implement here. Thoughts on the village? I have some concerns, but they are quite literally the only apartment complex I’ve found that will allow me to have a husky, even though she doesn’t break the weight limit at any other complexes they won’t allow her there. Any thoughts or info would be great.

For a while they were everywhere in the East Bluff and other parts of the city running fiber underground. Now suddenly all the trucks and machines are gone, projects are half-complete with large orange tubes sticking out of lawns, and lawns are left torn up and rutted from trucks and the little portable excavator driving all over them.

Are they going to finish what they started, or did i3 pull out?

Hi! I’m looking for suggestions to help track down a random no start issue in a 2013 Honda Civic. Brand new battery, and starter has been tested as good. Full power when you turn the key, but then nothing. No clicks, no engine turnover, just nothing. It eventually (so far) starts if you wait a bit or try another 5 - 20 times. It’s my only vehicle and it started doing this randomly almost a year ago, but now it’s suddenly doing it every time. Thanks!
