Pensacola Florida.
You might have heard we were : America's first settlement, the home of the World's whitest beaches, the cradle of Naval aviation, or the Redneck Riviera.
We just call it home.

I go for long runs mostly through and around downtown and often over the bridge and back. I can’t seem to find any public water fountains to take a quick drink while I’m on my runs. Do any exist? I’ve ran through some parks and still nothing. It seems very unusual for a city with a high military population that would certainly be running around.
Does anybody know if there are any light displays that you can walk through. Like in a park or something. Willing to drive for a little bit to find one. I think niceville used to do one at their public library, but I'm not sure. Anything closer?
Does anyone know of any pediatrician who accepts patients younger than 6 years old that have not been vaccinated? I cannot find one that will accept my children. I have my reasons why I don't vaccinate, so I do not need anyone's opinion on this subject, I just need help finding a doctor who would see my child asap. Thank you!
Anybody have any news on that? It's right up the street from where I am in Cantonment. I just saw the north road closed off, like 10 cop cars incl state troopers and ambulances and people standing all around right in front of the Winn Dixie parking lot. Driving past all I could see was a single mangled piece of some part of the front of a car sitting nearby, and all I could think was where the hell is the rest of it??? That lanes probably going to be closed all night.
anyone a patient care tech at sacred heart and what's the pay? i work in one of the offices now but looking to transfer to PCT night shift it's more flexible with my school schedule but want to know if the pay is any different than what im making now?
Are there any indoor pools open to the public in the area?
Dear “I’m Moving To Pcola, What’s The Job Market Look Like There???”,
It doesn’t have one, if you’re not a well paid remote worker, doing construction work, retired, or enjoy having multiple service industry jobs. Over the weekend I was talking to a couple at Odd Colony and heard their horror story about being travel nurses and not finding good paying nursing jobs here, even though their’s plenty of employment opportunities for nurses—you just won’t get paid your worth. So really think about your decisions before moving here, when it comes to employment. Wishing everyone the best moving to Pensacola and I hope you find the employment you need during your transition.
Just seeing if it’s possible to see sharks, dolphins, manatees, rays or big fish in the area. If not, where is the closest place to go?
Looking for recs for places and specific providers for skincare services such as lasers, Botox, facials, etc. I have a regular derm but that practice is more practical in terms of medical dermatology.
We caught this on our security camera overnight, and then we saw the dog again near Little Flower around 6 this morning. It’s got a collar on, so I’d assume someone is missing it!
I’m thinking abt going to a concert there but do they have seating ?
I’m not about to stand for hours singing Disney songs. Is anyone going to the bop to the top Disney tour ?
We will be moving to the area after this school year. Can anyone provide insight on the schools and districts that wouldn’t terrible to work for as a teacher/coach?
I want opinions on sidelines. I don't want popular takes, I want specific takes
What percentage of the city comes from contractor run - remote pay companies? $9 for two hours, at night, in a pothole riddled lot at Gov’t and Palafox? $2-3 maybe.. Service fee? Tax? …welcome to the Nickel & Dime you to death - tax state! Florida Tax Man

From Mobile, been considering moving for a while and there are things I like about Pensacola. We visit frequently so we’re familiar with the area. Just wondered what the locals say. We’re in our 50s, no kids, like a little night life.
Hello All!
I am currently a senior in college about to graduate in a couple of weeks. I am currently finishing up my last research paper and would love to get the input from the people of Pensacola as well as other costal communities. I am currently researching the perception of disaster preparedness. If you are able to take my survey it would be greatly appreciated and extremely helpful. It is a brief survey so it should only take a couple of minutes. The survey is completely anonymous.
Thank you so much.
returned home at 2am to see this on my doorstep with no idea whats going on
Is free parking on Sunday limited to street parking only or does it include the lots?
I like to sing and I like to think I have descent vocals and I would love to make friends and have a jam session as a hobby.
We've been to most of the old standards; Aunt Katies, Native, Scenic 90 and all the chain places. Whats your suggestion for somewhere fresh.
I would prefer an area that is quiet but not too far from grocery stores (Publix/Winn Dixie/Wal-mart/Target). I'm not sure who does internet (Comcast/Spectrum?) but I need to have fast internet for my job. I'm looking for rent to be $1200 max or under. I was thinking CAntonment but want to be near the Floribama line if possible. I'd like to avoid the college kids areas if possible.
I (M20) and looking to plan out a day for my fiancée (F19). She is latina and I was looking for a mariachi band to come play with no luck. Anyone know any bands available Dec 7th or any other date ideas that can last the whole day or small ones I can stitch together to last?
Where are the best prices to purchase live Christmas trees? Looking to buy a 7 ft Frazier fir.
Hello! First time poster. Apologies if this violates any of the rules.
My team plays in Southern Soccer Association’s organized Sunday league and we’re prepping for the upcoming winter season that starts January 5th (organized friendlies scheduled for December 8th and 15th).
Taking a shot in the dark, but we’re in need of a goalie/keeper. No specific skill level required. League is open to males and females aged 16+. League usually runs for 7-8 weeks and costs ~$70.
See below URL for league’s Facebook page:
after that crazy hot summer i’ve been happy to have the cold weather back but 28 degrees?!
