Does anyone want to buy paper towels or toilet paper at a discount?

I had a plan for this but due to unforeseen circumstances it is no longer a viable business strategy and Walmart will only give me store credit for the unopened packs.

EDIT:

I just heard about the new hurricane, plan is back on 😎

Where to trick or treat

Hello everyone!

My family has lived in Pensacola now for 6 months, we are wondering where we might find some good areas to go trick or treating this year with our 4 year old.

I’m willing to drive wherever but we live over off of pine forest.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Any decent pool halls?

A friend just moved to town & he played in several leagues in his last town. Wasn’t sure if we had any pool halls (on the less shady side in general, maybe?) that may be good for him to check out - thank you!

Animal control not answering phone

There is a bull dog that runs around the neighborhood chasing people down the street, and there is a playground nearby. I think the dog will likely attack someone soon. The owners of the dog seem shitty, they know the dog is chasing people and still keep him outside. Do i just call the police?

Can’t lay down

These make me make. My tax dollars used to make this bench less usable for the public. It’s like they defaced public property with public dollars so the public could use it less, out of spite. Who did this?

Lots of fun events this year. There are still $25 tickets available for tonight. https://pensacolasymphony.com/upcoming-events/

(You can dress all the way up or show up in jeans, it's all cool.)

Looking for a good ol fashion pumpkin patch event for adults

As the title says. It doesnt have to be adults only, just stuff to do that doesn't rely on having kids. Apple cider/Autumn themed drinks, hay rides, pumpkin patch, corn maze, food, etc. Classic autumn fest I guess. Thank you :) (distance isnt an issue as long as it isnt more than 1.5-2 hours out)

Four Winds reboot, take 2

So I've been in a couple times this week, and they are making a solid effort at this. Launching a new passport program that you can earn points toward food and a chance at a cool trip sometime down the road. The spicy gyro was on point and unusual, and today they have a bogo on chicken and pork shawarma's so I had to try those. Checked out legit. Kinda sad to see it all cleaned up since it feels empty compared to how James used to run things, and 75% of the store inventory seems is now alcohol or coffee, but you may want to check it out tomorrow since they are promoting an all day event saturday with prizes and german food tastings. I'm not affiliated, but would be sad to see them fail.

Hq Korean bbq and hot pot

The menu online says it’s $34 per person but I’ve seen people say you are charged per item. How does it work? Is it an all you can eat for a single price or is it pay per item brought to table? just curious as to how it works.

Any spots where locals place cars for sale?

Just moved into town and I am looking for a car. Back home there was a boulevard where people will park their car over the weekend.

Is there such thing here? Looking for a private sell not a dealership.

Trans-friendly therapists

Hi everyone!

So I frankly just had a god awful time at my therapists office and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for any trans-friendly therapists in the area. I've only lived here 5 months and from what it seems the resources I've found are out of date. TIA!

Accident on 9/30

There was a really bad accident on Berryhill Rd in Pace on Monday afternoon & I have not been able to find anything on it. Just wanted to make sure everyone was ok. It looked pretty bad, with at least 3 cars involved & 2 of them being flipped in a ditch.

Polonza Bistro

I’m surprised this place is still open. Seems it has been going downhill for a while now. Aside from the numerous and repeated bad health inspections I recently read about (bugs, rodents, unsanitary food conditions) this place is mediocre at best…if you even get served. The employees are rude and the managers are unprofessional. Anytime someone leaves an honest one star review the employees and their “friends” leave multiple 5 star reviews to drown it out. They care enough to cover up their crap business practices but no desire to actually make effort at being a better establishment. Rant over.

Disco Balls

Any suggestions for disco ball rentals in the area? I’ve received quotes from $500-$850 for hanging 5 disco balls for an event. Wondering if that’s normal or if there were other options!
