Do we think passion pit is going to be on any lineups this summer?
I discovered this song in 2016 during a particularly Passion Pit-heavy music rotation and it introduced me to perhaps my favorite EDM artist of all time. Still love their music 'til this day.
just what I needed! lol.
Found out about this today while surfing Discogs and idk what to really feel abt it
My favorite all time lyric, Passion Pit or otherwise, is “My beard grew down to the floor and out through the doors, of your eyes, begonia skies like a sleepyhead” What it means to me is; My depression was so profound, that I could not move. I couldn’t muster the energy to get out of bed, shave, etc. But your eyes, like begonia skies, brought me back to life. I recorded this in May during the NYC shows
2024 has been a hellacious year for me. As always, I’ve had music to help keep me alive. Thank you Michael, you’ve been there for me the entire way. Please know what that means for those of us who suffer.
One of my favorite Passion Pit songs of all time❤️
That's it. My wish for 2025. It's funny that the one song I enjoy the most from Passion Pit is the unreleased one.
I know it's up to Michael Angelakos how he wants to release his music and I respect his creative decisions, but ever since I heard that song it's been eating me on the inside that it never had an official release.
So my best hope? Hoping that there's plans for a 10-year edition of Kindred, and for that song to be included. It's such a beautiful song.
came across this on spotify this morning
Anyone else ever noticed that the little sound bite that starts right around 1:08 sounds just like the Apple camera photo snap sound? I honestly can’t listen to the song without hearing it and constantly being in fear that my phone is taking photos.
HOW IS THIS FUCKING POSSIBLE DHDJSANSJSNSJ
Last year there was a sale on the merch website, does anyone know if they're doing it again this year? I think merch was 25% off last year, I got a bunch of shirts (including the limited Tarot one!!!!).
Uploaded on The Wishart Group youtube channel in August of 2017, a couple months after TSOL was released.
Listen to this version of the song if you haven’t already, it’s hauntingly beautiful.
Where were you when you first heard passion pit and wanted to find more??
For me, my old girlfriend had Manners in her car and it didn’t really dawn on me until I had asked her who this was for the 8th time. I was a “pop music is bad, I only listen to rock n roll” dickhead teenager, now Passion Pit is my favorite pop act of all time!
Would just love to hear where you all found this chaotic magic.
Edit: I love that so far it’s all been word of mouth. Somebody just said hey check this out or discovery of someone we loved. What an awesome story so far.
First watch through of GG and Moths Wings plays at the end of S3EP4.

Here’s the second half. Enjoy
I thought the immersive experience was incredible. I called out two of my favorite songs, neither of which I’ve ever heard in concert, and Michael played both of them(Hey K and I’ve Got Your Number). Hey K was played live for the first time. He also debuted two new songs. Both were great but he didn’t give the names of either song. Here’s the first one, I’ll also upload part 2 of the song. It was a long one. I can’t wait for this to be released. Thank you for a fantastic night Michael❤️
I have to say I really enjoyed myself! Now I do need to add, I was at the very front(literally the first row) so I didn't feel like I was crushed in a sea of people. It was definitely still tight though, so while there was plenty of movement, it was hard to fully dance. The girl next to me and myself kept elbowing each other by accident, but we ended up just laughing about it because we really had no other option but to continue to bump into each other
As for the music and vibes, I found it to be really fun. It was really intimate, and felt like a jam session you would have with your friends. Passion Pit played a new, very emotional song which was absolutely amazing to hear. Naturally he played a lot of his bigger hits(and some of his smaller ones too).
Michael also interacted A LOT with the audience so it felt super special. He took song requests, and would sometimes just tell some small life stories.
Overall, I would definitely do it again, and I felt like the pricing was fair. The venue was a little too small, so I do understand if people in the middle/back didn't enjoy themselves as much. However, I strongly feel like this was a really special experience.

Why didn’t you want people to dance at the immersive experience? Not very immersive of you. Shame on you.
I hope you had a good experience but truly, why did you block me and my friend from dancing and call security on us when everyone else around us was in our favor?
I’m such a loser lmao
I’m sure I remember discovering this song through an advert years and years ago, I thought it was an ad for the psp or some other portable technology (hence “take a walk”) but I can’t find it
