heres a short list i made, feel free to add any other ones you know on the comments
All I Want: Matt and Kim - Good Old Fashion Nightmare (Reason: Similar beat, similar melody)
Make Light: WALK THE MOON - The Liftaway (Reason: Around the same length, both are very synth heavy)
Smile Upon Me: LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends (Reason: Both have long sections with no words, very repetitive, and also same vocal melody in some parts)
Take A Walk: MGMT - The Handshake (Reason: Same beat, althought I'm referring to specifically the part at 2:30)
To Kingdom Come: Hoobastank - The Reason (Reason: They just sound similar, especially the start)
The Reeling: Foster The People - Pseudologia Fantastica (Reason: Both are very synth heavy, and sound otherworldly)
Anyone happen to have a small or medium Let Your Love Grow Tall zip up they’re looking to sell? Saw someone wearing it at the Chicago shows and still thinking about it lol TIA!
Found out about this from a six-year-old post on the sub. How the hell was the lame spinning cube Sleepyhead MV more popular than this?

Not a day goes by where I don't sing or listen to it I LOVE IT
The lyrics to Somewhere Up There on pretty much every site I can find go like this:
“Just to get a part of the others, our authority figures That would look like the others The truths and the liars that were holding us”
But am I the only one that … just doesn’t hear that? To me, it sounds like:
“Just to get a part of the others, our authority figures That would come to be hell The truths and the liars that were holding us”
What Micheal is singing here doesn’t sound anything like “That would look like the others”.
Sorry if this is a bit of a tangent, I just thought it was kinda weird and if anyone else hears that.
this guy is absolutly amazing, i love his music, and i cant find anything like it from anywhere else!
The same guy who made the score for Gladiator, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, and Dune helped make a Passion Pit song, which I think is really neat.
Does anyone know if a new album is cooking?
it’s one of my favorite songs ever and I’ve always wanted to come up with a new version that’s authentic to the original but still has its own style. let me know how I did!
I first fell in love with Passion Pit via a remix of Sleepyhead I heard on the old music streaming site The Sixty One almost 15 years ago. The site shut down suddenly in 2017, and I can't remember which remix was the one that hooked me. Most of these are almost impossible to find now. The only ones I can locate are Wallpaper and Clack Singles Club, and those aren't it.
Anyone have any leads on these other tracks? It's becoming an obsession.
does anybody know what this song is?? i know that at around 2:40 it switches to live to tell the tale but i have no idea what the first song is. any help would be appreciated https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zG9Jr-rHCE
I’ve been listening to it for a while now and I can’t really make sense of it, and can’t find if it was ever confirmed to have any certain meaning. Any theories?
A while back, someone close to me sent me the song "What a good day!" by Passion Pit. It's really clearly Michael's voice when you listen to it. I tried to find it again and I... can't? Google brings back nothing. Lyrics sites don't have it listed. It's not mentioned in this sub. Not on YouTube... it's nowhere.
Please help me. I would really like to find it. The lyrics are something like...
There's a lot for everyone, But so many live with none, We can take this, we can break this, But we gather round and say, What a good day, What a good day to spend with you.
I would give a lot to listen to the original he recorded when creating this.
The lyrics are often wrong on music providers like Spotify fyi.
It is a stunning piece.
