Hello!
I drove my personal vehicle down from the US to Costa Rica. I had an Airbnb tell me I could get a significant amount more (more than I was expecting to get for the car) if I were to sell the car here. I have the title and it’s an older BMW SUV. My plan was to sell it when I get back to the states from my travels in November and get a new one.
I’m just wondering, can I sell the car here?
I have an SAT sticker from Guatemala and they told me I have to pass back through within 90 days which is fine with my original plan. Is this something I can cancel via email or paper mail?
If I can get more for the car here than back home in the states, I’d rather just sell it and fly back with my dogs. I’m honestly exhausted from spending the last couple of weeks on the road and I don’t have any special attachment to this car. The only other thing is that I have it registered in Colorado under a sole prop LLC (I rent my cars on Turo so it was technically a business purchase before I took it off the app to bring it here). Not sure if this matters. Thank you!
Hi! I have a 24ft Minnie Winnie and am curious how easy it will be to navigate off the highway into towns and places to explore. How difficult it will be to find safe spots to boondock. Does anyone have any experience with this? My other option is to take my 4Runner for maneuverability but I love the idea of more space for my dogs and myself while traveling. Getting down to the wire or which to store and which to drive so literally any experience or tips are appreciated!!!
How safe is it to take a pop up camper for the panamerican highway? I’m hoping to take my 4Runner down to be able to get to more remote places for adventures and exploring but need room for the dogs and a place to stand up in bad weather. And the sprinter (and like) market is insanely priced. Assuming I leave it in campgrounds and established places (is that even possible)? How safe of an option does this seem?
Heading from the US to CR. Hoping to find a caravan of like-minded folks along the way. What’s the best way to find safe, fun caravans?
You can request your ballot at: https://www.votefromabroad.org/
In recent elections, the overseas vote has determined the winner in many close races, so your vote does actually count.

Also, if you know someone who was born in the US or has American parents, they can also vote in US elections.
This post is intended to be non-partisan, simply showing how to exercise your voting rights even when abroad.
Thanks!
With comments like "how can he be a dictator, 90% of Salvadorans support him!" And "But he's actually getting results, who cares if he's seizing power?" Or most shockingly "who cares about the human rights of prisoners, they're barely human anyway, no one's arresting innocent people"
Coming from both Salvadorans and other American nations alike, I fear that the people of the Americas have not sufficiently learned and understood the history of populist dictators.
And you know what they say about those who do not learn from history...

In October of 2023 the US lifted sanctions on Venezuelan oil, and in November of 2023 Venezuela begins planning an invasion of it's neighboring country, where do you rekon it got the money to fund this campaign?
