Anywhere to play on the cape?
Hi everyone,
I'm planning a paintball party for a group of around 20 people (possibly fewer), most of whom are beginners. Graduation is just an excuse to get together and play paintball! Given the size of our group and the costs involved, it's likely that everyone will be paying for their own admission, though if the group ends up being smaller than expected, that may change.
We're looking for recommendations for good paintball venues that can accommodate a group of our size and provide a fun and safe experience for beginners. We're located in Chelmsford, MA, but we're willing to travel a reasonable distance for the right place.
Here are a few specifics we're looking for:
-Beginner-friendly environment -Safety briefings and quality protective gear -Availability of rental equipment -Suitable facilities for a large group -Reasonable pricing (slightly preferable if it's on the more affordable side)
It doesn't necessarily need to be a private event or venue, as we're open to joining other groups if needed.
If you have any suggestions or personal experiences with specific venues, I’d love to hear them. Thanks in advance for your help!
Anyone here attend the Monday or Thursday night walk on sessions at AG Paintball in Weare, NH? Curious to know what the typical turnout looks like... is it a good mix of solo players and teams? Or more the latter?
I used to play at AG way back in the early 2000s when I lived in NH. Now down in MA and recently rediscovered my gearbag that's been hiding in the basement and it's reinvigorated me to get out again as a mid-30s dude that hasn't stepped foot on the field since ~2008.
It's a little over an hour drive to AG for me now but Mondays work well with the kid's schedule so I'm considering humping it up there to sling some paint from my trusty Ego 5 (still works!).
I haven’t played in about 5 years, I use to play at Fox4 but they have since closed. What are the best options for walk on players? I live in the Fitchburg area but I am willing to drive 1- 2 hours if it’s worth the effort. How soon do they open?
Anybody in the area selling a Dye DAM by any chance? I also need an elbow and a rip clip hopper for a Tippmann Stryker Elite.
Hey Guys,
I'm new to Reddit and don't know if anyone still uses this page. However, I used to play Xball and i am looking to get back into it as my older cousin has now "retired" and their team no longer plays. I am 24 and have a pretty good amount of experience. I am in the Boston area but am willing to travel and play with a committed team. Please let me know :) Thanks!
Has anyone every done this event at AG and can offer insight into what's the deal with it? Is there anything special? Is it worth it?
Hey all. Been a while since I've been out since quarantine and I'm wondering if anyone has been to a field lately and how active they are these days. I'm looking to go out soon and wanted to hear other people experiences on specific places. I generally hit up PnL or OSG in NH.
Hey everyone,
Haven't been on reddit for a while and when I logged in I saw a number of join requests for this community. I didn't even know it was private. I've opened it up to public so we can hopefully get some people in here and get this sub active if there's people interested in playing in MA
Hey fellas,
I'm organizing an outing with buddies for this Sunday, rain or shine.
Bring your equipment and showoff! I'll be playing magfed.
Tiberius T15 Milsig SMG TiPX w/ Recon barrel & Apex2 Dye i4
See you on the field
Putting it out there I will be playing this weekend or next at PnL in bridgewater. If anybody is out there and wants to play let me know !
Looking to play this weekend, what's good?
(Yay) or (Nay)
Just wondering what some good fields are. I play both Woods and Speed.
Planning on playing tomorrow for the first time in years, thinking about fox4. Would there be enough people for a decent woodsball game?
I'm curious how many of you are from the south shore/the cape, there used to be good number of speed ball players on cape but over the last few years a lot of them got out of the sport.
What's are they like?
I just moved to Boston and don't really know anyone up here who plays. I'd love to meet up with someone that plays. I play speed and woodsball. I haven't played in a while (6 months or so) but I was playing every week last summer/fall.
Looking to play speedball the weekend of the 21st, anyone down? Place is tentative, preferably not crazy far from me (Wellesley)
Because of all the moderator invites, I figured it would be good to have everyone introduce themselves. I'll kick things of:
I'm a huge fan of paintball, though I don't get out as much as I wish and don't have a lot of money to spend. I know a bit about marker mechanics, and equipment. I used to play at Boston paintball in Everet, but when it moved, I started going to their Maynard outdoor field.
Any other moderators, feel free to introduce themselves!
