The University of Houston is recruiting participants for a new online study. This study involves a computer-delivered intervention that addresses drinking and anxiety. You may be eligible to participate if you (1) are between 21 and 75 years of age, (2) self-identify as Latinx or Hispanic, (3) are fluent in Spanish, (4) report regular alcohol consumption, and (5) experience anxiety.

Participation involves completion of a pre-screener questionnaire, five additional online surveys, and a brief online intervention that should take about 3 hours of your time across 6-months conducted completely remotely via Zoom. Eligible participants for the current study that complete the entirety of the study will have the opportunity to receive up to $220 in electronic gift cards. Electronic gift cards can be redeemed through the platform Tango which allows you to pick a gift card based on your purchasing preferences from over 100 different businesses. If you are a University of Houston student, you can earn 0.5 SONA credits for completing the pre-screener questionnaire.

You are invited to take a survey to determine your interest in participating in a study on free, online, accessible teaching modules in which organizational behavior management skills will be taught. Information will be disseminated through online platforms such as Zoom and Moodle, and modules are intended for individuals who have little to no experience with formal business training. My name is Jessica Riccardi, PhD CCC-SLP, and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Maine. I am conducting a research study to examine the adult outcomes of individuals who did or did not experience a brain injury during childhood. Participants must be between 25 and 80 years old. We are looking for individuals with diverse demographic characteristics so you will first participate in a phone or email screening to determine if you are eligible for the survey. I have a PRC study that I am going to do this weekend. It requires me to go to an arcade type facility, play 2 games on their list, order food & drinks, then do a 90minute call at a later date. I've done plenty of studies before but not where I have to pay for things prior to getting paid out.

We are conducting a study on neural activity following substance use.

To participate, you must be right-handed, have used cigarettes and/or used e-cigarettes (e.g., a Juul or other nicotine vape) on a nondaily basis in the past month, and have no metal in your body. Evening/weekend scheduling and assistance with transportation are available.

If eligible based on a 20-minute pre-screening and 1 hour interview, participation will include two 5–6-hour visits to the lab, and 2 follow-up phone interviews. You may earn up to $400 for full completion of all study components.

Each visit will involve: • Tests and questionnaires to measure thinking abilities and decision making • An MRI at the OHSU Advanced Imaging Research Center • Before each MRI scan, you will consume a legal, non-prescription substance at a dosage proven safe for human consumption.
